Yep, mine is processing now too.
Still reckon that they'll wait till Thursday to actually ship them out though.
-
We started processing Wii U preorders on Friday 23rd.We will continue processing until Weds 28th.Thanks.
I guess that they really are going to wait until Thursday before shipping them out then (meaning that it wont arrive till Friday)
Oh well, guess I'm not getting it early

First order of business is checking out Miiverse and seeing what everyone is up to.
Then a range test to see how far I can go with the thing
Then jump straight into Nintendo Land (the other games will get played later )

This week's haul...
http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2012/11/nintendo_download_29th_november_2012_europe
3DS Download SoftwareAero Porter (Level-5, €4.99 / £4.49)
DSiWare
DotMan (Agetec, €1.99 / £1.79)
3DS Demo
The Denpa Men: They Came By Wave (Genius Sonority, Free)
New Style Boutique Clothing Store (Nintendo, Free)
3DS Retail Software
Super Pokémon Rumble (Nintendo, €44.99 / £39.99)
No mention of anything Wii U related, and a Nicalis title (Nightsky) misses its planned release date once again...
-
Shouldn't it be up by now? It was meant to be down for 2 weeks no?
-
David, over at WiiUblog posted the file sizes of all the US eShop games, here: http://wiiublog.com/a-complete-list-of-download-sizes-for-wii-u-games-on-the-eshop/
And;
Wow, Nano Assualt 81MB! I'm getting it though, as file size is not an indication of game quality.

The prices will no doubt settle down to the usual £40 standard eventually. They're just reaming the early adopters who are willing to pay these stupid prices.
-
So is the save bug still present in the EU version then?
RSG mentioned that they were unable to replicate the save corruption bug on Facebook...
Anyone here suffered from it when saving in the PEC rooms?
-
But wouldn't such an agreement violate competition law?
It's not that it's a formal agreement, it's just not in Nintendo's interest to piss off the retailers that sell their consoles.
That's the reason why they started that download card programme where retailers could set whatever price they wanted for them (which for some utterly stupid reason hasn't been made available outside Japan )
-
In Japan, yeah...but not sure about elsewhere
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is $5 cheaper on the eShop in the US than the retail version ($55 vs $60)
Ok that's not much of a saving, but it's still a saving! (if you add on cashback from that DD programme back though, you're actually netting $10.50 in savings )
-
RRP unfortunately, for the same reasons as the 3DS. They're held ransom by retailers who state that if they undercut RRP on their own stores, they will no longer stock their products.
Not necessarily true for 3rd parties though. Haven't there been a few who have offered their game at a cheaper price on eShop than at retail?
Either way, £29.99 is a great price for SASRT and it's no cheaper at retail, so I'm getting that one on the eShop at least
-
Excellent, I really do hope they get all the support across the board and not just selected services. It sounds incredible and I want it to be fulfilled.
Can it turn on and off amps do you know or just tvs?!
Selecting a TV channel/programme on Nintendo TVii will automatically switch your TV and Sky/Virgin box over to the correct input source and channel AFAIK
Not sure about whether or not amps can be controlled with the Wii U Gamepad, but that all depends on what the Gamepad's Remote Control app is able to connect to (BTW, the remote control functionality is available at launch for us!)
-
Surprised that nobody offered that deal sooner. Bundling the two machines together seems like such a no-brainer, considering that Sony admitted that they're looking to sell the Vita to the PS3 audience. Good price for the two consoles as well! (Sony could take some good hints from what Amazon are doing)
Why the hell not position it as a Wii U competitor and all? It's not like the Vita is doing any good on its own!
-
@Gullwingx Nano Assault EX should be available on the eShop in a few weeks, hopefully still in 2012.
Here's hoping that they're referring to us here in Europe! (considering that they were replying to a Greek guy, that's a good sign )
-
Good news . Keep that publisher mandated shite out of my Bioshock!
-
Not surprised. It's a launch title for Japan and no 3rd party had access to Miiverse until the day it launched in the US, which makes sense since it wasn't ready until then (it's also why NSMBU and Nintendo Land needed Day-1 updates, since the dev units had no Miiverse support)
Not a big deal though. As long as I can still take screenshots and brag about my exploits on Miiverse itself, I'm happy
-
Probably wont get processed till Monday now.
No matter, it could still get shipped out Tuesday or Wednesday! (Worst case scenario, we get on launch day)
-
Another one bites the dust. Very sad to see another longstanding developer go downhill like this
Nintendo really needs to open a UK studio and snap up some of the talent that is floating around.Agreed wholeheartedly. There's an enormous amount of UK talent just going to waste right now. They'd do well to start up their own studio here in the UK and snap up the talent just lying around (all the better that a lot of ex Rareware staff are still here, they already had a working relationship!)
Get them working on some exclusive titles that cover genres that their internal developers wouldn't want to cover!
-
Are we really expecting them to break the street date that spectacularly though?
Obviously I would love it if they did, but I reckon Wednesday will be the earliest they start sending 'em out.
You're probably right, but I can still get excited at the possibility dammit! :p
-
Anyone had any confirmation that Shopto had taken their monies today? I'm refreshing my bank statement alot heh :p
Yeah me too. It's strange to think that I'm looking forward to having money ripped from my grasp, but I reckon that the Wii U will suddenly stop feeling so far away once it happens (since it could ship at any time afterwards )
-
The patch has been confirmed to be working by Sega and its been sent to Nintendo. Hopefully they will get it out before the Euro launch.
I'd say that it's pretty likely that this is what they're shooting for. Here's hoping!
-
Seems a bit weird, I wonder what's stopping them then?
Sounds like a scheduling issue with WB Games to me. Maybe they felt that it was too close to Xmas to have more than two games release on Wii U?
-
Annoying that I'm gonna end up playing the 2nd game before the first one, but either way I can't wait any more!
Is it next week yet?
-
What time do they normally update on Fridays? Just curious for when Paper Mario comes out. Midnight would be nice...
Midnight tonight will be very nice for you. I'd recommend checking the eShop at that time

Yeah you do, it's just being held hostage by a group of thugs who are waiting until the Feds (Nintendo) force them to hand over the goods.
