Gonna have to go with the prevailing viewpoint on here. There's nothing really wrong with GM foods and that the people who campaign against them largely do so for a lack of understanding about how they work.
Nature has been tampered with for so long that it barely resembles what it was originally anyway.

Bastards!
Fuck you S-E! You can shove your iPhone up your arse!

I think he means how having to constantly look down at the touchscreen would affect the 3D appeal of the game as there is that slight moment of readjusting.
If that's what he's on about, then that's a load of rubbish. Been using a 3DS since March 2011 and that's never once been a problem.
Edit:
Our almost finished Jett Rocket 3DS game (codename 'Super Surf') will be released as: Jett Rocket II - The Wrath of TaikaiSo it's now officially a sequel? Cool!

So if you wanna play in 3D then you basically will have to use the CPP. Playing in 3-D without the CPP will be a mess.
hope that Nyko CPP is released by the time the game is released.
Oops just read that it was cancelled.
Why would it be a mess? You'd just have the same touch screen controls as in Metroid Prime Hunters and Renegade Kid's own Dementium series for DS!
Would work perfectly fine with the 3D!

They're not close to administration, they already HAVE entered administration.
It will be announced officially tomorrow, but it's happening.
This is a disaster for the high street presence of games, music and movies. With the sole exception of the rotting corpse of Game and the puny and shambolic selection of titles in supermarkets, online stores have pretty much fully taken over now.
Console manufacturers and game publishers are now at the almighty mercy of Amazon. POS methods of marketing are now rendered useless (with instore console demos now being useless - No longer will people be able to experience a console for themselves before they buy it, without being lucky enough to know a friend who has one!) and the battle for shelf space (that would normally lend an air of legitimacy to a console) is rendered moot.
I can't see any way that this will benefit anyone, especially with new consoles just launching. It's a disaster that will see the UK market shrivel up into the equivalent of a used toilet roll.
Thank God that we share the same language as the US, or else we'd see a lot less games being released over here - cause we're becoming a completely irrelevant market!
-
Well with HMV officially entering administration, Game (in their post administration zombiefied form) is the single lone pan-UK games retailer chain on the highstreet now (aside from the supermarkets)
Nintendo had better get that Wii U stock into those supermarket stores ASAP, because otherwise their highstreet presence is gonna become nearly non-existent!
-
Can't decide whether to go or not. Almost just bought one of the remaining tickets at the back for £38 (Row X, don't really want to make the jump to £60+).
Do we think anyone from Nintendo will be there like last time?
I doubt it. Don't think that they attended the US tour events.
Probably just for the 25th anniversary special.

Anarchy Reigns did better than I had expected. Was predicting that it wouldn't chart at all
Otherwise, same old same old.

To be fair, that's not native 4K (each PS3 only renders GT5 at 1280 x 1080), so you'd still need more than 4x PS3s to pull it off at a real native 4K resolution.
I don't expect any games to actually support 4K resolution (unless it's a 2D game, or a game with PS2 level visuals). Not only is it technically unfeasible, but also not financially sound as practically nobody will have a 4K set.
In fact, I suspect that a large chunk (perhaps even the majority) of PS4 titles will actually be running in sub 1080p resolution.
That being said, watch Sony tout their hardware as a 4K native monolith

I'm mostly bummed out by the fact that witty dialogue, story and a whole bunch of new and nutty characters apparently play a very minor role in this one in favour of the stickers and puzzels.
It sounds as though they've pushed New Super Mario Bros' story and puzzles of the point-and-click genre into this franchise, which led to the strengths of the series to fall into a pit.
Still, I might end up liking it in a totally different way, but I'm playing it safe for now. A friend of mine has bought it too (along with a shiny new 3DS XL) so I'll be waiting for his impressions as well.
I SINCERELY hope that Miyamoto won't be paying a visit to Alphadream and that the Japanese have NOT answered in a questionnaire that 'they don't like Luigi's shennanigens and don't like the story'
when it comes to the Mario&Luigi franchise.
Despite the lacking story/characters/sidequests etc, it's still a really great game and well worth your time.
It would be a crime to skip it!

Oh hey, does anyone know what's so special about the glowing Denpa Men? I caught some on my lunch break and I don't know what's so special about them. Are they stronger? Better abilities?
-
Yeah, it's a good game that, while not all that it could've been (in particular, the puzzles are far and few between and very simplistic in comparison to the old school titles, while the game becomes too combat heavy towards the end for my liking), it's still very much worth your time!
-
What is there to change? Didn't the original already have dual-analogue options?
It's not the shooting that's the problem with a potential PS360 port, it's the real-time inventory.
They're gonna have to dump the awesome touchscreen inventory interface (& really useful ever-present map) and graft on a horrible RE5 style control system for the map and inventory.

If I don't get a Booseum with a gallery of the dozens and dozens of different Boos and Ghost Houses/Mansions across the years, I will not be pleased!
Also, we had better get Vaccum Boo (A Boo that turns into a Vaccum cleaner to suck up Luigi!), 3D Boo (A Red/Magenta Boo that is only visible in 3D and with one eye closed - swapping between left and right to confuse you!) and Retro Boos roaming around the mansion!

So I bought two games on the Wii's VC the other day.
One is this:
Incredibly difficult in later levels, more or less because of the lag in the registering of your movements with the Wii-Mote and Nunchuck.
And the other is the one and only awesome game: The Legend of The Mystical Ninja
I'm going through it with a friend, like you said @Dcubed, and it's an ab-so-lute blast! It's quite hard, has nice minigames and has that Japanese vibe which we both, as students of Japanstudies, adore
Thanks for this awesome recommendation a while back fellas!
Can't believe they dropped the series though....
Good man! Knew you'd like it
Too bad that the Konami of today have gone batshit insane and have forgotten that the series exists
At least we still have the likes of Muscle March to keep the crazy alive
(the fact that the game is pretty fun is nice too!)
If you're after more Japanese nuttiness, look out for Tomena Sanner on Wii Ware, Cho Aniki on the Wii VC and Tokyo Crash Mobs on the 3DS eShop (coming out in the next month or so)

So I've beat the game! Aannndd, I'd say that it's the 3rd best game in the PM series (below TTYD and 64, but above SPM)
I do like the battle system (remaining inventive and engaging all throughout, even without the exp points and levelling up - in fact, I don't lament the loss of the RPG elements at all!) and the puzzles are the best in the series (I love the near complete lack of handholding!). I think that the level based structure works well and the writing is as good as ever.
But I do think the game suffers for its lack of story, non-Toad NPCs, partners and side quests. The core gameplay that's there is really good, but it feels a bit flat (HAW HAW HAW) without those extra bits on the side. There just aren't as many memorable characters and moments as the other games in the series and it never fully shakes off that feeling of loneliness from the lack of partners. I'm glad that they did something different with the gameplay (and it absolutely works, don't get me wrong!), but I think the decision to ditch all of the story/characters/sidequests/minigames etc was a mistake.
Overall, the Mario RPG compendium goes in this order for me (from best to least best)
1: Paper Mario TTYD
2: Bowser's Inside Story
3: Paper Mario
4: Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga
5: Super Mario RPG
6: Paper Mario Sticker Star
7: Super Paper Mario
8: Mario & Luigi Partners in Time
BTW, World 4-3 is the best level in the whole game. Bloody loved it!

Isn't is crazy to think that this will be the 3DS' first FPS game released?
Probably its only one and all I bet...
-
Yeah, the Wii U arcade sticks are read by the Wii U as a Classic Controller, so the CC/CC Pro and all of your existing Wii arcade sticks will work with TTT2 (and presumably every future Wii U VC and Wii U fighting game)

I don't know who's trolling around in GameFAQs, but in there, this game is called Luigi's Mansion: Dark World in Europe and Japan. Surely, that's not correct? Never before have I heard of such a name.
No. It's called Luigi's Mansion 2 in both Japan and Europe and Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon in the US.

Has anyone else ever had issues with their shoulder buttons? My L button went not too long ago so got it fixed when I was sending in for repair anyway, but now(only had it back a few months) it seems my R button's gone too! Such a pain
That happened to me on my old DSi. It's a right PITA

Yes they did. They also played host to lots of different game events like Kojima's appearance in London.
On the plus side, I guess it means that these companies will be forced into doing nationwide tours if they want people to try out their new products or for fans to meet their heroes!
