I turned my 360 on and the image was all weird with stupid colors and lines, like an acid trip, then it rebooted, updated and now it's fine. I hope there isn't impending doom.
Mine went a bit funny the other day. In the middle of Call of Duty the screen went black, I was shouting at my mates that my TV had just gone off...
Switched on the other day as well and there was weird line around stuff. Unplugged everything and replugged it back in and it was fine so hopefully all is well.

I finished it not long back and i agree, it is very good, especially some of the cutscenes with the gollum bloke.
The last boss is abit of a bastard, however it feels good when he's dead
Yeah cutscenes are great. The facial animation and voice acting is some of the best ive ever seen.
Also I didn't like the demo, It doesn't show you the full combat system which is very good.

God, really enjoying Heavenly Sword. Near the end of chapter 2 right now, seems a lot better than I was expecting. Anyone else played it, and what did you think of it?

Me too, new store looks really good. Should be much easier for finding what you're looking for.
Bought Motorstorm and Heavenly Sword yesterday. Got them pre owned for fairly cheap. Only had a quick play on Motorstorm so far, seems good although I think I'm probably going to get quite annoyed at it when I keep losing :p

I hope you enjoy Kameo and Viva Pinata, too many 360 owners dismiss these awesome games because they arent a FPS.
Yeah I love both although I hate the judgement you get from people seeing you own Viva Pinata. My friend was looking through his brothers games when we were playing on Xbox Live and when he came to VP he said 'What the hells this?!'.

Well my Xbox was silent for a couple of days... it just started making a low humming sound when I play games...
Was it switched off for a few days? :p
Might buy Burnout Paradise at the weekend. Is the general view that the full game is much better than the demo?

I don't suppose anyone else is playing Sega Superstars Tennis? The online is dead already,which is a shame because it's a really good tennis game. Having Beat and Gum in it hasn't affected my judgment at all. No.
Is there any reason to if you already own Virtua Tennis 3?

I dunno. All I know is when I played it, being I don't know what rank but I'm midway ish, there's people who have done all the ranks and stuff and have that symbol to say they've done so and there have been really really low ranked people in the same room as me.
thats what they said. It goes off your actual skill not your rank.

COD4 doesnt have matchmaking as far as I know. Halo does. You'll just have to learn and get better whilst playing against people you know are better than you.
I thought CoD4 went off that Truskill thing. I could be making that up though.

I have a question (cos this really bugged me about my iriver H10), in the artists library, do all MP3 players create an entry for an artist even if they only featured on a song? My library got really cluttered with artists i didn't even like just because they were in the song credits. Same thing with albums - if i put a single song on there it'd create an album entry for that song. Seemed so disorganized.
Ok and i have another question. Does anyone know of a player that meets these requirements:
* Not an iRiver or Apple.
* At least 8gb, pref more.
* Available in a colour other than black or silver.
* Decent brand, no unknowns.
* Emphasis on music, not video.
Do Sony do Walkmans in different colours? They look quite nice.
They do one in white actually.
Got a small screen so looks to me like video is less of a priority. And 36 hours battery life is impressive in my opinion.

Just got Forza, I'm kinda new at racing sims, but I'm liking it. Whoever is generous enough to give me free stuff, you know my Live :P

That game got really annoying. I hate how I can't build up a small collection of cars and tune them. There doesn't seem to be enough races for one type of car. My Golf ended up never getting used. And the later races are looooooooong.

To be honest, I'd much prefer any iPhone clone with Google Android than an iPhone. The only problem of the other platforms is that they run Windows Mobile (which sucks ass) or Symbian. In general they give far more value for your money than Apple does with its iPhone. Until Google Android is out however, I'd probably prefer a faster phone for less money, which allows other applications to be run on it, and has network functionality, and just put up with Windows Mobile until Google Android, or maybe Ubuntu Mobile are out.
Don't get me wrong, I love the concept of the iMacs and the iBooks, and Mac OS X is a wonderful OS, but the iPod and iPhone are so overrated it's getting ridiculous. The only reason that people can give while buying is either they consider Apple a religion, or that they just don't know any better.

I have no problem with people that don't like Apple products, I really don't care as it makes no difference to me. What really pisses me off is when I get called an idiot for buying something I like.
I like the way the whole 'Apple elitist' has turned around. Now whenever anyone buys an Apple product now there are cries of 'fanboy' or 'idiot'.

Just finished God of War: Chains of Olympus this morning, took 4 hours
Just like Silent Hill its a great game but far too short. Its amazing how fantastic it looks on the PSP though and it felt just like the PS2 games. Now to wait for GoW3 on the PS3, man thats gonna look sweet.Know what you mean. I need to get the PS2 ones finished before a PS3 game comes out. It's annoying me that I can't play them on my PS3. I don't want to have to have 4 consoles out. 3 is bad enough.

I can't play Hitman. I just don't even know where to begin. I thought I'd check out a walkthrough to see if I could get into it, I tried doing what the walkthrough said and people just shot at me.
Can't be bothered with it.

Lovefilm sent me The Darkness on Friday, such an awesome game really enjoying it. Didn't it pretty much bomb?

I still don't care about Home. Will people get as addicted to PS3s achievement system as increasing a score? I'm not convinced.
I wonder how popular Home will actually be. Is everyone here really excited for it? Or are you more curious as to how everything will actually work?

Played Hitman again, and for some reason everything actually worked. Think I'm going to give the game a proper play through later.

Well I've got Forza M2 out of Microsoft for it having to get sent back straight after repaired.
They are telling us though that we have to pay £10 for a replacement disk for Halo 3. Now considering it was the xbox that broke it when it was supposed to be repaired I'm finding it outrageous. How would I go about approaching the trading standards about it? 'cause they arn't budging and are insistent that we have to pay. I wouldn't mind if it was £5 max but the fact that they are charging for it is appalling any way.
That is truely appalling. If something like that happened to me I'd probably tell them to piss off and sell off my Xbox and buy everything for PS3.
Some of what Microsoft has done this generation is so stupid and probably cost them a fair few sales.

Is Unreal Tournament absolute shite for anyone else? I tried joining online and stuff and it just kept giving me errors.
Single player is boring. I was doing one mission that was fucking ridiculous, ended up losing and decided never to play it again...
Tried today and everything is working. It did crash again though. I've read somewhere that the most common cause of PS3 lock ups is Network errors.
Still it was great when it actually worked. Don't know why you're not all playing it!
I think I'm going to grab Warhawk at some point. As I finish some of my PS3 games I'll most likely get it.

After owning a PS2 and this for a year and still not playing it I've finally decided to just sell it and rebuy it for Wii. Can't be bothered to keep my PS2 hooked up and use crappy AV cables to play it as well. So fuck it.
