Horizontal, the disk tray doesn't really like being vertical.
But it's designed to be vertical. It's vertical in all the demo pods and everything. As long as it's not moved while spinning then I reckon it'll be fine.

Me and theguyfromsparks played a bit of this today. Really like it, although we think there is a bit too much luck involved, but it's a very enjoyable game.
Went and bought it this morning, loving it so far, except those stupid laser ones. They're seriously rubbish.

I hope Banjo Kazooie doesn't use a wii-mote like thing, i don't see how it would work unless it's point & click or something?
and surely people will say Microsoft have knicked Nintendo's idea?
Unless it features something unique, i don't like the idea myself....

Looks fantastic. More games need to do first person perspective this well.
Pretty damn ambitious though, but then if five games were this ambitious and one of those five delivered on their ambitious promises then I would be happy.
Basically devs need to take more risks, and this is a step in the right direction.
Agree there. I'm glad they're trying something like this at least. If it's crap, fair enough, at least it's not another bullshit boring shooting game.

Thats why I'm glad I have all 3 consoles this time around. Last time I only had a Gamecube so as you can imagine I missed out on a fair bit.

Fair nuff. I haven't switched on my 360 for a good couple months now. Mainly because both my controllers have broken. They keep disconnecting for no reason.
Is it the battery cover being loose? I found one of my controllers would disconnect for no reason, turned out the case on the back was loose. I smashed it up the wall which made it look more lose :p but seemed to fix it. I bought a new one anyway...

Wow now that's unlucky. Has the RROD actually been solved? People are still going to get it because there are always problems with everything, but what I'm saying is has it actually been scaled back to an acceptable limit?
Time to pick up a PS3.As someone who owns both I still prefer the 360. Everything to the controller, the dashboard, Live, and the exclusive games I feel are all better on the Xbox. Plus everyone I play with online has an Xbox.
Have other people started to switch over to PS3?

I'm really liking it so far. Never played a GTA properly before so didn't really know what to expect but it's really good so far. Played for about an hour and a half. Damn work tomorrow!

Don't over look Super Paper Mario. I've only recently started playing it and it is excellent. Shame GTA is out in 2 days and I'll probably not play it for a few weeks again.

Anyone tried that Xclamp thing to fix their 360? My mate bought a 360 2 weeks ago and like the cheap idiot he is he changed the firmware on it so he can get copied games from his mate.
Now it's red ringed already.
He's actually paid for some Xclamp thing now off ebay to fix it himself. Anyone know if this actually does anything and whether its just a temporary thing? -

Is it just me, or is it that 360's always seem to break down around about the same time as a major release of some kind?
Yeah, pretty much any time you really want it it breaks. Mine broke at the beginning of a week off work. Considering I only had 20 days all year this was fairly annoying.
Went back to Viva Pinata today after my mate got it last week. Get so addicted to it, really is one of my favourite games. Got a few achievements as well which was nice. Couldn't attract a Swanana which was annoying. I had all the criteria for it it just wouldn't turn up again.

Finally back in my own house! Downloaded the update for the new store and loving the new look and feel of it!
Might get both of the new expansions for Warhawk today, or atleast the first one. Really in the mood for some Plane action!
Agree with that, new store is excellent. Much better than before.
Motorstorm is weird. I find it repetitive, frustrating and rage inducing, yet at the same time it's addictive and I keep putting the disc in my PS3. The rubber banding is the one thing I do really hate about that game though.
Was playing Resistance yesterday. I can't really be bothered with it in single player but a mate came round and spent a couple hours going through it in co-op (Actually the reason I bought it, I love local co-op.). Was a lot more fun, especially the bit in the jeep! Better than the warthog imo. I loved smashing through stuff.Also played UT3 today. Campaign is so much better when you active the option that lets other people jump in and play. I'm really loving it. The controls are perfect. My only minor gripe is turning 180 quickly, I wish there was a quick way of doing it. Any news on it being updated to do split screen like the 360 version?
I hate the single player campaign. There are some multiplayer games I just don't want to play and in single player you obviously have to play them. Some drag on for ages as well.

I really need to finish both Ratchet and Clank and Heavenly Sword by the time this comes out. Still got so many games to play through it's ridiculous.

Played some more Motorstorm. Don't like it at all. Seems weird how every little nick on a rock or anything and you blow up...
Might just Ebay it, not really my kind of game.

PS2 was a system that could be played vertical but they sold a stand for it, which to me suggests its not really meant to be played vertical. Also PS2 was mostly down to crap lasers not people playing their console vertically.
