I got the dispatch email for this today from The Game Collection. First time preordering a game off them, any chance of getting it tomorrow or should I not get my hopes up?

There's slightly longer loading times when starting quests and moving between areas but that won't affect other players who are using the New 3DS in multiplayer. You can use the Circle Pad Pro if you want but idk the camera controls seem pretty poor in this one, in previous games you could move it diagonally and now in this one when there's a greater emphasis on verticality you can only move the camera on one axis at a time.

How could you guys forget posting screenshots to MH4U's MIIVERSE as a New 3DS exclusive feature? but other than that it's not really worth it if you already have a 3DS and are cool with the touch screen camera.

They haven't changed the Switch Axe much, just added a new move to the sword mode where if you keep pressing X you kinda swing it side to side which can go into the X+A explosion thing which is my favourite move The classic combo from MH3 is now done by pressing X A X A ...

Is anyone else not really feeling the new weapons? Insect Glaive is pretty cool but the Kinsect stuff feels weird and the Charge Blade is just too confusing and seems like a worse Switch Axe to me.

I don't think it does, no. Does Metroid Prime Trilogy support it? We might be waiting a while to find out. Would be nice if they updated Donkey Kong Return's controls to be more like Tropical Freeze.

From what I could gather in the Direct it's a collection of all the songs from the first 3 titles + new ones for 3DS! I did notice that the DS ones were remade so you hold the 3DS normally instead of sideways, do you think they'll change the controls for that?

I thought they were updating it so you can use the Gamepad for Wii games that support the classic controller?

Wow, well done! Here I am just sticking to local and online multiplayer cause I cba with the other modes and you managed to grind out all the challenges. I'd be more willing to do it if Nintendo had an achievement thing like other systems so I could more easily show off my accomplishments

They'll have to wait around but I believe it's only at the start of quests. I play MHFU on Vita with my friend on PSP and I have to wait for him to start the quest but during the mission I can move between areas a lot quicker than he can.

idk if they've fixed it yet but you can't start a group call from the mobile Skype.

Doesn't the Wii U have a voice chat app built in? Failing that you all could buy a Wii speak adapter and use that I'm getting the game for sure, just bought a Circle Pad Pro XL from Shopto for just over £5, now I just gotta wait for the game to come out. @RedShell regarding the New 3DS the only difference is that it has quicker loading times and you can post to Miiverse. I like Miiverse but it's not worth shelling out £180 for especially when my current 3DS XL is fully functional.

When's Toon Link coming out? Want to get an amiibo for my little cousin even though he doesn't have a Wii U. I never really got why everyone went crazy with buying all the amiibos... then again I don't like many Nintendo characters, just DK and Captain Falcon.

So what's the best way to get custom moves, Master or Crazy orders?
