  1. Onto all of the single player games in NintendoLand.  Don't expect us to finish all these though.  This was more a matter of revisiting them, and seeing how we do in a single run.

    [Together] NintendoLand: Yoshi’s Fruit Cart

Old Nintendo Gamer & Son try out the first of the solo NintendoLand games, a two screen brain melter.

Roughly 50 minutes in, all I have to say is something that's been bothering me for a while: unless I'm thinking of the wrong character, isn't the Resident Evil character called Hunk, and not Hank?

Ahh, yes, he most certainly is.  So, who in the hell is Hank?  His brother probably.

  6. Managed to get a code from High Tea Frog for Ckae Bash.  They saw our demo videos and wanted a few more of the full game.

    [Together] Cake Bash (Part 1)

Old Nintendo Gamer & Son take their first run through the Main Mode, Get Tasty, to see what delicious extras the full game has to offer over the demo.

  7. Been playing a bit of this, and it really is a great little Pool and Snooker title.  Not without a few niggles, but the game mechanics are spot on.

[Lee Plays] Pure Pool (Part 2)

Old Nintendo Gamer chalks up his cue, and hits the baize of the gentleman’s game, Snooker. How does it compare to Pool?

Shame to have a blank in a critical moment, but the Adam Jensen series that [mention=8211]Londragon[/mention] wanted to mention was Deus Ex.

Yes, it was Deus Ex. Remembered after the recording finished. This happens more and more often, damn age related issues, . Loved my time with the game on WiiU.
I bought the game you guessed for TT, and haven’t played it either, but it’s what sprang to my mind, too.

  10. Got a code for an early look at a unique tower defence game, with a lot more going on than a first glance suggests.

[Together] Steampunk Tower 2 (Part 1)

Old Nintendo Gamer & Son test out this action strategy tower defence game. There’s more than meets the eye with this one.

Have you pre-ordered it already? I'd love to see you review this game, so that we could use your quote (above) as the pull quote for the review. :D

I take it that you'll be covering it on Old Nintendo Gamer & Son in any case, so that we can witness that fluidity in motion.

Anyway, I for one, would love to see any coverage you can give the game, in any form, I've heard you speak passionately about the game before, I look forward to your impressions. :peace:

Yeah, pre-ordered.  The game icon is sitting there on my home menu.  I'll be covering it on Old Nintendo Gamer & Son, but also talking about it on the N-E Cafe podcast, and as i take notes to get prepared for the podcast, if I have time, I'll pop my thoughts down in a review.  Not 100% promising, but I'll definitely give it some serious thought.  Thanks, Sam.

I used to play alot of Hustle Kings, Sometimes I'd just waste time just knocking balls around but it had a pretty extensive career mode. I think I have this on Steam but I'd love to give it a shot on the switch. It was really graphicly impressive at the time on the PC, would like to see what it looks like when it's ported.

Apparently it has all the bells and whistles of the PC game, with no graphical downgrades whatsoever, and running at 60fps in 1080p.  Even though it is a 2014 game, it still looks impressive, and great that they've managed to seemingly pull it off on Switch.

I should have researched my own history a bit better, I realized that some of what I said was not completely accurate as I managed to get dates and times muddled up - you'll have to let me off, it was 13 years ago!

Looking forward to the next 50 episodes!

I do it all the time Will, age doesn't help me either.
