  1. Day 2 - Opening Section of a Game

Damn, beaten to the punch by two others (edit: damn three now, haha). It’s basically the opening to the game that showed me what games could be. All games before it, were mere distractions and fun times. This game came along and forced you to pay attention, and the opening exudes storytelling through its sense of place, the music, the rain, the death,

It is of course A Link to the Past.

  2. Earliest Gaming Memory
Kikstart on the Spectrum and the Spectrum in general. Games took forever to load and half the time they'd fail. Good times.
Still have my Spectrum and Kikstart somewhere.

I have very fond memories of Kickstart 2 and making our own courses, 2 brothers, on the Commodore 64 , great game.

I'm around the 47 minute mark. Interesting podcast so far (definitely have a few things to say about the Pachinko business later today)

Why? Are you thinking of moving into the Pachinko business? :heh:

Just finished this and it was another good listen, though maybe a little long for me.

Really enjoyed the game boy segment, though I hope Nintendo don’t use that method to choose the games should they decide to go ahead with one. I can’t believe F1 Race was removed though, I loved that game and the four player was mind-blowing at the time!

Nick and Greg showing their ignorance of great games, :heh:

  8. I never played Pokémon Snap. What's the gameplay like? I love camera features in a game, but it seems to be on-rails, which is bothering me. I don't see the point if this is the case.

As far as I know, it is an on rails shooter, except it replaces guns with cameras.
