Thanks for the great questions. Won't get round to them this week, but I think they might focus heavily on next week's podcast. Cheers. Keep them coming everybody!
  2. N-E Café Podcast

Our 17th episode is now up at our YouTube Channel.
  3. Indie Games

Lonely Mountains: Downhill was playable at PAX East 2020 last week, and some footage has emerged showing it running in handheld mode. Liking the look of this.
  4. So, I've played all the levels on offer, and while there's a small chance I'll go back to them later on in the week, I've played enough to give my vote to; Redshell Once again, I'm not good at 2D Mario games, but good enough to finish Nintendo's offerings. When it comes to fan made levels they are always so drastically difficult that I don't enjoy the frustration. With that; Morgan is still playing through them, is there a cutoff date for the voting?

With not that much Nintendo News so far this week, any listener questions that you want us to address. I’m thinking of a quiz this week if there’s 3 of us.
  6. Weird? Why couldn't Nintendo let me upload my time when I connect to the internet later. ?? If they're worried about someone tampering with a level then uploading a time, only allow it with levels that the maker has chosen to be uneditable.
  7. Downloaded all 3 of yours. Beat Redshell’s, but it didn’t add me to the percentage cleared. Is that because I downloaded it, and didn’t play it straight from the page? So weird.
  8. My son’s far more complex entry.
  9. My short and easy entry.
  10. Today or tomorrow. Finished mine, simple, short, and easy. My son needs to put the final touches to his, so I’ll post both our levels tomorrow.

Would definitely be up for revisiting Turok, too.

So, I have a large list of potential more recent indie games to hit the Switch that have now dropped in price, or drop in price regularly on the eShop. If any take your fancy, give it a shoutout, and this is just to see what interests people first. Welcome back. Have a listen to the podcast, full of all the forum’s expression of Dream Land 3. Will be doing another one soon, at least getting everyone’s opinion on what game they’d like to play. As I said on the podcast, the last 2 have been SNES games, so something a little more contemporary would be preferable, but whatever anyone wants. Later on today, I’ll come up with a list of what I think may be appropriate, but please feel free to add, edit or suggest anything else. After a little while, we can then compile a short list to vote on.
  14. Dandara

Oh, yes. This could be a good pick.
  15. Dandara

    It’s a little over a fiver, tempting.

Nick warned me he had an ‘idea’ for this week’s podcast, and I have to give him a shoutout fo4 the way the podcast builds up and into the ‘Extras’. Well done, Nick.
  17. N-E Café Podcast

Which is fantastic news as our brand new episode 17 is now out on all good podcast providers. N-E Café [017] PodPals (Kirby’s Dream Land 3) tackles the recent Nintendo News; games we've been playing, featuring Transistor; and our PodPals episode dissects Kirby in Dream Land 3. This is episode 17 of the N-E Café Podcast, an N-Europe Podcast. Enjoy!

N-E Café [015] It’s Coming, Isn’t It? has hit the YouTube Channel And so has, N-E Café [016] Do You Like It Big or Small?
  19. General Switch Discussion

The promise of the hype of its reveal was, and is still being, fulfilled by the fantastic library that populates the system. Numerous well regarded Nindies stand proudly by the monumental Nintendo releases. However, with the recent trickle of games from Nintendo themselves, and the dire situation I find myself in with 3 full sets of JoyCons suffering from the dreaded 'Drift', a slight lack of that ever so bright Nintendo sheen has reared its head.

Well done, Jonnas. Winner. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. N-E Café Podcast

Ohhhh, no. Second clue, the game has been mentioned a few times over the last few episodes. And everyone, please use spoiler tags, [emoji6] thanks.

No correct guesses of the Transition Tunes this week, yet. So, the first clue is, the game the tunes come from was mentioned during this week’s episode.
  23. I’d say no to all of them. One try each, upload it on Saturday or Sunday, and no revisions while the competition is under way.
