  1. Awesome. I love this song so much, it's one of the most beautiful songs I've heard. (Stars - Your exlover is dead final fantasy cover)
  2. Yes, I'm going to try and do it without them first time. If it gets to frustrating i'll try it on the second play through. There's a rumour that completing it without the eyes is going to be an achievement.
  3. http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500001151&productId=1500256263&langId=-1&engine=froogle&keyword=Samsung+22in+Widescreen+TFT%2FTV+Monitor Wow, argos has this monitor for £70 less than it should be, worth a try.
  4. I have a samsung and it broke a few months ago, I called Samsung and they replaced it at my door within a week. So yeah I can't fault them for support. The monitor itself is decent considering how cheap it was, no light leaking, decent contrast. I see yours is quite a good one. But it doesn't have TV inputs for xbox and such. I'm not sure Dell make any monitors with regular TV inputs but I could be wrong.
  5. Sapphire, HIS, Asus are my brands of choice.
  6. Well theres this http://www.ebuyer.com/product/130842 or this http://www.ebuyer.com/product/145011 or this http://www.ebuyer.com/product/135253 You get what you pay for.
  7. Yeah if you're going in expecting to spend a lot (which you seem to be) You might as well go for the 4870 which will give you good performance for not too much.
  8. Bahahahaha, the new bleach movie is called Bleach Fade to Black Call Out Your Name
  9. Buy a 4850 or a 4870 depending on your budget, for three reasons. 1. The performance benefits of a dual card setup are only really at high resolutions (1920x1200+) 2. Some games don't scale well over multiple cards and you'll get basically a 0 performance benefit. 3. The 48xx series is the best value for money right now. You could buy a 9800 GX2 or a 4870 X2 for a ridiculous price but in reality you'd probably never notice the difference. Although this also depends on your monitor, what resolution do you use?
  10. Well if I was 14 and it was a hot teacher then I know exactly why its so so right.
  11. I was thinking about this game what with some new info coming in during PAX and I suddenly got scared it would flop. This game could be a catalyst for more unique games if it succeeds. I really hope EA gives the advertising support this game deserves. Then I was thinking; http://www.gametrailers.com/player/33585.html How amazing would it be if EA bought a weeks worth of prime time 2 minute advertising slots (do they still do these?) and they showed that trailer, exactly as is (or maybe recreated if the graphics have had significant improvements since). I think, if I was someone who didn't know about the game I would be blown away by the unique graphical style and the presentation. I would definitely want to buy it.
  12. Valve is not a lazy company, they're perfectionist. They're a small team working on multiple projects at once (including supporting their old games like crazy, Counter Strike Source STILL gets updates) not to mention the Team Fortress 2 content and PS3 is NOT easy to port to. Still, there's rumours that EA is working on a port.
  13. Yeah, I'm going to be buying this for PC and probably not stopping until January.
  14. I'm quite a strong believer in Derren Brown, I think all of his work, bar some of the more supernatural tricks he does (like making a woman stop in the street) is real. Most of it is just mind tricks and simpler than they look to you and I.
  15. I dunno, I have a red character at level 25ish, I don't mind either way. That didn't go well. Lag and then disconnect. :-/
  16. Ok I'm gonna start playing castle crashers in a little over half an hour.
  17. I played with one guy yesterday for about 2 hours without problems but I'm not going to deny a lot of people have problems. I guess we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed.
  18. I don't, this was the only clip I could find of the scene, if you like you can turn audio off and read just the subtitles. Do you seriously not see why this is bad writing, the cliche's? The sprawling monologue which could be reduced to about 10 lines and actually retain some of the impact?
  19. I want to play some 4 player castle crashers, tonight at about 7-9? Add me.
  20. (spoilers for about half way through the game)
  21. Eternal sonata has its flaws, bad writing, slow cutscenes, but I like it. I never actually got round to finishing it now that I think about it, I got to the ice level, I guess I'll do it soon.
  22. http://labs.mozilla.com/2008/08/introducing-ubiquity/ This is a pretty cool tool. It's a little like launchy for the browser but with better integration. The video's pretty good for seeing what it can do, I've been trying it out today and if I get used to it, it could become indispensable.
  23. This is a really unsubtle market research quiz. They can piss right off.
  24. While this is true it's still not a replacement for torrent sites. They have other advantages, like the community aspect and a great deal of content is generated inside them. Stuff that trickles down from the scene, like the content is newsgroups is pretty crap, if fast. The best quality releases are almost exclusively from torrent sites.
