Chiming in, this is the best tv I have ever watched. If you miss it you are a disgrace to society. Also it's not as good as I'm saying so don't let that put you off.

I agree but at the same time I just couldn't get into 2 like I did 1. The interface having bits move around was a bit disorientating. Maybe now that I haven't played in a while I can get into it. Or it could be what I call the "Timesplitters 3 Effect" where I played the prequel so much the series loses its charm for me.

Lol got sick of waiting and went into zavvi to buy the drum kit, they refunded me £63 instead of charging me £63. Profit made. Also there appears to be no copies of Rock Band 2 for sale anywhere in the UK. Bought it second hand in the end.

heh, I remember making this thread. In the end I actually went and bought an HTC Touch Diamond because I could get one for about £200 on ebay and offset that cost by selling my contract upgrade. I did still want the Xperia but £35 a month or £400 for a phone is just too much for me. Windows Mobile sucks balls. At least I can run Putty and a load of stuff but whenever I have to leave the TouchFLO3D part of the phone I cringe. Even then the phone is still quite laggy. I'm going to try some cooked firmwares after christmas and see if that makes it more manageable. If not then I'm going to be stuck waiting for WM7 which isn't due out until mid 2009 and might not even be any good. At least there's a homebrew effort to get android(and linux) on the Touch Diamond. I'm hoping HTC might port it themselves after android has a little more dev time.

I have a Optoma HD65 with free VGA and S-Video sockets but I've also been out of the loop with TV's and their inputs for a while so I need an idea of what the cheapest and easiest solution is for me. First problem is that my antenna cable is about 1.5m too short to reach the projector area. I assume the solution to this is just an extension cable but I didn't see any after a quick search. I also need to know the best way to get it from antenna to VGA or S-video. I assume it's a freeview box but if there's a better way please do tell. Cheers.

Yeah this is where I'm stuck as well. Seems they really should have redesigned that bit. The getting to it was weird as well, that grid ceiling thing.

Tbh when it's a desktop you might as well just get acer because the only thing they can fuck up is the motherboard and the psu and even then it's pretty hard to fuck up. EDIT: Ok it's not a desktop nor do I have any idea why I thought it was but jut get the acer anyway it's probably worth the reliability hit.
