I've tried the first GP (mushroom cup 150cc) over 10 times, and every time I end up with a 2 star rating... WTH!? Im 1st in every lap, getting good times, and win all 4 races. I just cant get a 3 star rating, any advice? EDIT: Nevermind, I finally got 3* on Mushroom cup.

Yes it is, infact that's how I transferred all my files on the 3DS from the original 2gb SD to a larger one. I just copied my entire 3DS folder onto my PC, then from there pasted it onto my larger SD card. now I just keep the original as a backup, Just in case.

So MSF & Swapnote are going to be available in about an hours time, japan is getting the 1st NES 3DS VC game; The Legend Of Zelda at 500 yen. it's already been available for ambassadors, but this is the first time its available for purchase on the eshop. also the following is from: Nintendolife.com:

thats a really solid eshop lineup this week, definitely getting MSF. but I dont think releasing tetris on VC is a good idea, considering the recent launch of tetris 3DS. and finally some sort of messaging function on the 3DS, although I extremely doubt it's what people wanted, but we'll see come thursday.

I've also got my pre-oder done. How's zavvi with launch day deliveries?

what I want to know is whether or not this deal is for a certain time period only. personally I don't want to buy from zavvi, however if it is exclusive then I'm definitely going to buy it, having the CPP for free, is better than buying it later for a must have game that'll eventually need it.

thats great news, the eshop is really picking up some speed especially in the coming months, with many solid titles making their appearance, and MSF is one of them!

I originally thought that too, until i read this from NintendoLife: "The 3DS's free messaging application Swapnote (Nintendo Letter Box in Europe) was originally announced for release in December: Nintendo never mentioned it as part of this particular update." so personally I think it'll arrive at the same time as those GBA-A Titles.

Letterbox isnt part of the update, however it will be available later this month. how much later? no clue, but im guessing it will probably be in the same update as the GBA Ambassador games.

And theres also "Sleep mode download" aswell simply put the console can now download content while in sleep mode. apparently you can also do multiple downloads too, i've heard nothing else on this atm.

Thanks for the clarification! but I agree with you it should be part of OS, but I think I can remember back at the conference when they said that Letterbox will be a free download from the eshop. EDIT: I've just noticed that the eshop loads up a bit faster than it previously did, and that when looking through software you can actually see the number of reviews that have been sent in for that specific title beside its rating.

I was just thinking about that myself, so i thought that since the eshop updates every thursday, perhaps we'll see an improved eshop UI, with some new content tomorrow aswell such as Pullblox and swapnote.

even though swapnote is part of the firmware update, the eshop content is updated every thursday so does this mean that swapnote will be coming tomorrow? also straight after the update i went to the eshop it worked, but it was exactly the same. except for the redeem code icon in the settings. im guessing this will be used for Kid Icarus 3D Classics next month. has someone tried downloading anything yet?

the update happens tomorrow, i forgot about swapnote, that was part of the update too. hopefully the eshop UI will be improved, it was a all over the place. also just found out that 3DS Demos are available on the JP eshop they are: - Monster Hunter 3G - Cooking Mama 4 - Puyo Puyo - Crayon Shin-chan 3DS - Dead or Alive: Dimensions

just saw this on NL: Blaster Master: Enemy Below (Game Boy Color, Sunsoft, €5/£4.50)

SNES rainbow road is far too easy, i pretty much drift from start to finish not letting go of the acceleration at all. however once i was going a bit too fast round the 1st thwomp corner, fell off brought back got a restart boost then fell off again... but i still won that race.

Pullbox will be available on the EU eshop this week, with a £5.40 price tag.

its even more annoying when it happens on the last lap of the last race on a GP. But it must be done!...later on.

i joined @welsh_gamer & @RedShell yesterday, had some good races! MK7 is an absolute blast, ive also suffered from the spiney shell right at the death meaning i ended 5th when i was 1st! cant wait to play you guys!
