Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door REMAKE (23rd May 2024)
Ike replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Surprised this is happening so close to Mario RPG, but not complaining. -
Weird that I was thinking about Cing (rip) and that that we won’t see Another Code again just last night. Well they proved me wrong.

Any chance of use getting a party together for the Mewtwo raid? Apparently is quite difficult and requires a specific strategy that needs 4 players...

She is carrying a Toad, and her trusty frying pan.

Switch 2 - predictions, guesstimates and other SWAGs
Ike replied to Ashley's topic in Nintendo Gaming
And here come the “Switch 2 is as powerful as __” rumours, right on cue. -
I don’t think that answered anything.

Not a fan of that colour myself. Seems like it might be a little distracting to me.
-
Bit disappointing it doesn't cover the whole story, not convinced this will get a sequel. Unless they add it as DLC. Still looks like it should be decently fun.

Pretty much what I expected/hoped. The anime is ending soon so this will help fill the gap.

The RRP is £5 more for Sonic, so it's potentially more expensive than Mario so people may lean towards getting Mario if they are on a budget. I like that the digital deluxe version has a skin based on Sonic's original design. I don't like that it's locked to the digital version(?). Also semi relevant:

Charles Martinet is no longer doing character voices. No confirmation if he did the voices in Wonder it not.

I always disliked how Kiki's Delivery Service ends. Feels like it's just getting started and then the credits roll.

Also second balloon pop at around 54.34.

They sure like their animated series's, huh?
-
Oh, same. I’d be fine if they just port Ultimate forever if it prevents Sakurai from working himself to death.
-
Good games tonight.

I'm going to stay on topic by saying they all suck, whilst going slightly off topic; because they reason they suck is because of one thing: They don't have Masahiro Sakurai. Which ties in nicely with a video he posted on his channel recently. In it he reveals that Iwata doesn't trust anyone else with the series to the point that if Sakurai hadn't agreed to do Brawl, it would have been a port of Melee with online play tacked on. What happened was known., but it was interesting to hear it direct from Sakura. Seems Sakura is also willing to do another Smash - if it happens.

Of course I don’t mind. I’m fine cutting my time by 30 if Redshell can’t make the extra time. I don’t want other people to miss out, it’s only me that isn’t into the custom stages.

Nook gives you a loan with no background check, 0% interest with no deadline. Upgrades are done in a timely manner. I think Nook's bad rep is unwarranted.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack: N64 & SEGA Mega Drive (& GBA!!)
Ike replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Seems retailers are selling the expansion pack now which means it can be gotten a bit cheaper, for example, Shopto are selling it for £26.85. https://www.shopto.net/en/ndo10009344-nintendo-switch-on-line-expansion-pack-365-p1179195/ Family pack is £45.85. https://www.shopto.net/en/ndo10009345-nintendo-switch-on-line-expansion-pack-365-days-p1179194/ -
The digital version has dropped to £13.99. Amazon is saying the physical release is the 24th July.
