You can do it yourself. A little more effort when starting a new thread would be nice. :p

New forum, new features. We didnt used to be able to do that!

Im working on my phone here... That is literally all the effort you're getting. Even less so now.

It's called Trials Rising, though :p

Im sure someone can sort that out :p

Ive never dipped into trials but this looks like a lot of fun. What's the usual proce point on these games?

Never played it but looks okay enough, will definitely play the free version once it releases. Although I think Splatoon 2 will be a better provider of Switch shooter goodness.

I think the founder's edition adds all current and future champions, and some exclusive skins but probably not all available cosmetic upgrades.

Until Nintendo fix Splatoon so that the motion controls are on both axis, I will find it frustrating. Zelda completely spoilt that.

Been playing through the whole campaign in 2 player co-op, no problems there.  The only slight downside is that the first player gets to choose from the 4 Gungeoneers, but the 2nd has to be a 5th character, and only that character.  Great game, both in solo and co-op, couldn't recommend it more.  I've experienced no slowdown or glitches in the normal set-up, and there's adjustments that can be made to soup-up the graphical fidelity or lower it for a better performance, at the normal middle setting I've experienced no problems in handheld or TV.  It keeps surprising me, that just when I think I've had enough for the day, it introduces some new NPC, or mechanic to drag you back in for just one more run.

That's sounds fantastic! Really seems like a great type of couch coop for the switch. Exactly what I need in my catalogue right now and seems more up my street than Binding of Isaac (I love super smash TV!)

  5. Has anyone picked up Enter the Gunge on? Can't find many details on what the coop mode include. I assumed it was the whole single player campaign but a review inferred something else.

    Anyone know?

  6. I absolutely love this game. Early stars were so easy but the end game is really getting to explore and ferret around.

I can see a lot of younger gamers trying to finish this being like many of us trying to finish Mario 64, a huge undertaking!

Currently at 810 moons... Really starting to slow down and only picking up say 5 or 6 moons each time I play. So many levels that I've said "wow, I'm glad I don't have to do that again!" but I don't hate them or anything. They're just hard as nails!

Not to be a broken record but it would need the ability to talk to your squad when playing online. Borderlands without the banter would be a different (worse) game.

OK, let's say that they fix that (as we're being hypothetical anyway) what then? Would it tickle your fancy bones?

  8. Is anyone else going to a local Splatoon event? I'm off to Reading today and really looking forward to it. Been a long time since I got to hang out with any of the street pass crowd.

So how do you guys value motion controls with the Switch compared to the Wii(U)?

I'm really liking them. Again not perfect but I love aiming arrows in zelda. Kinda gutted that there isn't any in Overcooked.

I agree that people need to get used to them but there are ways to make it better. For instance I almost never use the grip. My brain seems much happier when I'm just aiming with my right joycon rather than the whole unit or both controllers.

My biggest gripe atm is splatoon. The fact that the cameras vertical axis can only be controlled by motion controls is stupid, when the horizontal is both stick and motion . And I can't change the sensitivity settings separately for horizontal and vertical? Really?

  10. Glen that sucks about your phone dude :/

I'm with you on the player status. Essentially the same as Steam/Discord would be a great start. Some text messaging wouldn't go a miss either!

I'd really like there to be a way of forming rooms before forming a lobby in game however I understand why that might be an issue.

There's a great feature which splits the chat room in half so only players in the same team can hear each other. I'm not sure that you could have that function at the same time.

Maybe they could create another sub chat for people spectating/not in that lobby.

  11. So yes, we know it's not good but having watched NintendoLife's recent video about it, I found that we can actually give Nintendo direct feedback via the app.

So, if you could start it from scratch what would you want this app to do? What do you think could be done in future games?

Personally I think that Splat net 2 is pretty damn good. I like looking at all of the stats and being able to order kit is awesome. Only thing I would add is pics of the maps to doodle strategy on.

Please try and keep the conversation constructive and creative.

What a fucking stupid comment. IT IS A BETA. The full service won't launch until.next year. This is purely a functional stop gap for splatoon and yes it's pretty shit right now but you cant judge the final service on the current set up.

Dude don't waste your energy on trying to convince people. Their opinion and decision on buying a Switch is their own as was yours. You have one and are enjoying it loads, you don't need to stress about what other people think. We could spend all our time in here saying that we think other people's decision making process is dumb but it's not going to make for much of a discussion.

    See what @Jonnas said above.

  13. So this is actually looking pretty damn good. It's available to play now and although is technically early access I think that it means something a little different for Epic.

Anyone else playing it yet? Some of the guys from work are trying to push me to buy but I'm not 100% sold yet with all the Switch gaming that I have to do :p

  14. I'm not of the opinion that the app is doomed but I do think that Nintendo have released this too early. The feature set being so small and constrained gives such a bad image of what the service might be, which is even worse when they want to be charging for it in  the future.

This is like making the first level in Mario Run so rubbish that no one wants to buy the full game.

  15. OK, n00b question time:

    - Having trouble with charging hits. Someone give me a beginners guide!

    - Anyone playing with Min Min much? Are you having much luck with her special moves? I'm not :/
