Well i was gonna suggest killing hollow Laurentius in the swamp. This seemed to trigger Quelana finally showing up for me. But your stuck in the painting.... If you can reach the painting boss Priscilla, you can actually choose not to fight her and exit the painting that way. Getting to her is a pain in the ass though i agree.

Well i can't really comment on Vercetti since i never played GTA3 but c'monnnn. People who commit Grand theft auto are despicable assholes and there's no gray area to dispute this. As such, the protagonist should be a despicable asshole as well. Having said that, im sure the actual game will turn out great im just a little disappointed with the modern day John Marston theme

I feel dirty using the Forest for grinding but then again everything is outrageously expensive and most enemies yield a paltry amount of souls. Will absolution allow you to rejoin the Forest Convenant? I loved the PvP battles there.

After spending 2 minutes thinking about it, DC would be a perfect location. Given that American politics is already a parody, this should make Rockstar's lives easier as well. I'm imagining the protagonist to be an anonymous young political candidate taking part in all sorts of corrupt activities to get ahead until the final chapter where, naturally, hes elected President!

That logo seems to suggest Washington DC or Las Vegas as the inspiration for setting. I hope im wrong on both counts....

The 3DS is ''slightly'' underperforming. Given the obscene fortune Nintendo has amassed in the last decade, they can easily absorb a not-so-stellar product launch. I can bitch about Nintendo's hardware design choices, franchise milking, and lack of online presence until im blue in the face (and often do!) but ill never underestimate their ability to run a business, horde cash, and keep their employees employed.

The leaf gives Mario a Raccoon tail and ears ONLY and allows him to fly. The Tanooki suit is a full Raccoon suit that lets Mario fly AND turn into a statue. I was a little confused by this too as theoretically Mario should be able to turn into a statue with the 3D version's suit.

Ni No Kuni is a great example of what DQ will eventually look like. It would be great if the Wii U version approached that level of visual excellence. Luckily graphics have always taken a backseat in the Dragon Quest series yet the games are always consistently solid. Even the original NES game is still bearable to look at.

I love...LOVE webOS. I've been using a Palm Pre Plus for 2 years now and its such a good smartphone OS. I'm not sure how good it translates to tablet though because they sold out of these buggers so fast in the US i couldn't get my hands on one. Since both Palm and HP insist on delivering the OS on dated hardware, i hope HTC or Samsung , or even Sony nab the license and do something great with it
