  1. Okay many people here are doing their GCSEs very soon (like me)

Eh? Stocka's A GCSE student? Here I thought you were much older than that. Anyway, you should consider yourselves lucky, GCSE's are a piece of piss, with minimal revision I managed to get A*, 7A's, B, C, and this was with about 2 or 3 days worth of revision. Believe me when I tell you that next year you are going to have to work yer ass off to just scrape a C, I've got my Eng Lit AS tomorrow and it doesn't look good... oh well, I suppose theres always, F-Zero,waiting when I get back...:yay:

Unfortunately they made me do Lord of the Flies last year, which I connected with on an intellectual level, but still didn't enjoy at all...the other option was Catcher in The Rye,

which is my favourite book, so imagine how cheated I felt...

Anyway, for AS this year I had to do

Hamlet, Wuthering Heights, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead, and Selected poems by Keats.

As a heads up you GCSE students should definately read either "The Great Gatsby" or "Wuthering Heights" because those are the texts you're likely to be tested on for AS.

    EDIT:

But please, for those of you doing SATs/A Levels/Uni exams please don't discuss them in here, but rather somewhere else (preferably a seperate thread)

    Oh Whoops...my bad...

  2. Oh, I can just imagine the hours of pwning countless yanks online, although it's going to need to be a pretty high sensitivity mic if you're going to be be talking while pointing at the screen etc...

EDIT: How amazing would karaoke be if you could use your own personal choice of songs...??

Imagine singing, nay, screaming along to Slayer and then being able to post it online...

Raining Blood!!! From A Lacerated Sky!! Creating My Structure...Now I Shall Reign In Blood!!

    Long live the day...

    Rofflez.

  3. *Fixed*

Plus I've already got Kens Moves configured!

A = Triple Punch Punch Low Kick combo

    Smash Attack = Thunder Kick

    Up + B = Shoryuken!

    B (Charge) = Haduken!

Forward or Backward + B = Hurricane Kick

    Down + B = Counter

Special = Double Shinkuu Haduken With Ryu!! (who pops out of nowhere)

    How cool would that be???

    *Fixed*

I think Me and you should run to Capcom and force them to let Ryu and Ken be in this game. Their moves are perfect for this game!

    Sounds like a plan!

    And I am Malpercio :awesome:

No way are you cool enough for that :heh:

  4. Alos the Weapons. Took me ages to beat all of them but it was well worth it.

Took me a year, no joke to rack up enough experience to beat Ruby weapon...that day was so awesome...*cries*

    ultimate weapon was easier though....

    Red XIII Cosmo memory...*drools*

  5. OMG! He'd be like 'YOGA FLAME'! :bouncy: And if they put Ken in, we could just reinact some classic street fighter. I always hated Dhalsims stretchy limbs, they scared me.

  6. @ Bard: What are you talking about? There's still an essential part about having a company that's called profit you know. It's anywhere between 120 and 150 pounds.

Yup I know, but seeing as the hardware is pretty much a souped up Gamecube, I thought they would be able to it for about £120, which would really make my day cause im a bit skint, having spent all my money on booze and cheap whores and whatnot. :hmm:

  7. Final Fantasy 7 is one of the most highly accomplished RPG games ever.

It's the most accomplished console RPG alongside Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. Those three games are testiment to what music can do for a videogame, not only that, they were also head and shoulders above anything else in terms of gameplay and storyline...

  8. it will launch for more than £120. I would say it will have one of these pricetag's in the UK
    • £139.99
    • £149.99
    • £159.99

Meh, theres a good chance I wont be able to afford more than one game then...

  9. Alright, cool, I'll try that...actually, I shouldn't even be on here...got English Lit AS exam tomorrow!! AAAH!!

Edit: Tried Deep Claw (B.B.C) but hes not as good as Pico (A.B.C), who I'll be sticking with...

Also, In my opinion, Sega seriously messed up the music for GX, Techno?? WTF? I somehow doubt F-Zero's key demographic is chavs. F-Zero had such cool 80's power metal style guitar riffs and solos, with some awesome drumming to go behind it, but they've just turned Mute City into crap...Fire Field still has a pretty cool guitar track, but nothing really competes with F-Zero X's Mute City...man it's so awesome...

  10. Exactly, you don't spend £200-£400 on a new console to play old games do you :indeed:

And here I was thinking the Wii's Virtual console was one of its biggest drawing points...:indeed:

Anyway, I'll be getting one as soon as they announce a price drop for the premium console so i can play Bioshock, Gears of War, Mass Effect, Oblivion, Halo 3, Perfect Dark...actually, I'm getting it solely for the games Wii is unlikely to provide me with...ie. FPS' and Beat em ups...

  11. No, theres no way in hell it's going to launch for over £120, it'll be under if anything, these predictions of £200 are pretty stupid and uninformed aswell...Nintendo would never be that stupid.
