  1. Again a good selection of games. I like the story- and decision-based games by Quantic Dream, and enjoyed Beyond: Two Souls.

The only downside for me is that I already purchased the PS4 ones before, but at least it gives me a month to put a dent in my huge backlog of games to play!

Same old story. Diego Costa coming back to haunt us yet again. Well it's time to look forward to next season. Just couldn't get that European Trophy in the end. Merci Arsene.

Yeah. A real shame as it would’ve been a brilliant send-off for one of the great Premier League managers.

  3. I enjoyed the first season & think it’s a great idea. Like others have said, it can be a bit hit or miss, but then it’s still early days and they’re trying to work out what works. I enjoy both Dara & Ellie (& enjoyed her writing when she worked at Eurogamer too). Worth a watch for those that haven’t seen it and thanks RedShell for the heads-up on Season 3!

  4. I love the Royal Rumble event and yet again I’m excited about what could happen tomorrow night....! I still haven’t learned though, as I’ve been excited the past few years and each time come away with a feeling of bitter disappointment afterwards.

The Women’s Rumble has been a long time coming and I’m glad they’re running it with the same rules as the men. I always like a surprise and feel there will be many more surprises in the Women’s one (not least because they have, what 20, active females on the main roster and there are 30 spots in the match!)

I hope the Men’s match isn’t as predictable as having Reigns or Cena win it. Nakamora seems a possibility but I’d prefer a huge surprise, such as Ziggler, Bryan or Jericho. Incredibly unlikely I know, but a man can dream!

  5. I found the original game incredibly addictive once I’d got to grips with the controls. I loved the story & I’m so pleased it’s going to get a wider audience.  I don’t know how it sold originally but I’d imagine it wasn’t a huge seller as it was a new IP on a fairly new console at the time, so hopefully it’ll get the sales it deserves now.

  6. Wow it really snuck up on me this year. Sounds like I have a few good runs to catch up on!

The Awful Games section was fun (Superman 64 finally gets a section! Plus Bart vs Space Mutants was one of the most disappointing games I ever owned).

It still impresses me that these runners do it so well in front of a live audience. Watching ‘I Wanna Be The Boshy” right now, which is ridiculously tough, and the guy is absolutely blitzing it!

  7. After Ancel declared that BG&E2 wouldn't be shown this was the 1st E3 in years where I genuinely didn't believe Ubisoft would show it. Then suddenly it's right there on the screen!

Ok, so I'm a little disappointed if it's true that it's a prequel, as I've been waiting so long now following 'that' ending! Still, I'm just so pleased it's finally coming. I love Ancel's show of emotion, and it really would be the icing on the cake if somehow this was on Switch and it was a timed exclusive.

  8. I remember having this game as child and spending many an hour trying to complete it (which didn't help as I bought it 2nd hand without a manual so I took a long time before I discovered how to actually use items!). They look like they're going all out with the remake, I think it looks terrific and I'm really looking forward to it! One of the best Master System games!

  9. Leicester City proving that there's no sentimentality in football. Also, no honour.

I remember when neutrals turned against Swansea after they sacked Garry Monk. It'll be even worse now that it's happened to Leicester, considering their achievements last season. Sad as it is to say and think, but there will be a lot of people out there who will want Leicester to go down after this.

This man won you the league, at least give him to the end of the season.

I agree. They trusted Ranieri to work miracles and win the League, surely they can trust the man who knows his players to keep them up. It's a ludicrous decision! Look at the managers who had bad spells yet their clubs backed them: Ferguson, Wenger, Benitez... Instead they're relying on their players getting used to a new voice, new tactics, in the space of a couple of months. Where's the trust and loyalty!?

Leicester fans and board aren't worried about the FA Cup. They're succession the Champions League has been phenomenal, and they're still in with a shout in their home leg. This will please the owners as it'll give them attention across Europe. Yes they've had a poor League season so far, but with few new players since last year and players not hitting the same form again they were always at risk of struggling.

On the plus side, the man isn't going to be remembered for this season, he'll always going to be remembered for one of the greatest footballing achievements this century!

  10. Games Done Quick changed their Youtube channel at one point I think. This one still updates:

    https://www.youtube.com/user/gamesdonequick

They still run Awesome Games Done Quick in January and Summer Games Done Quick in July. We do have a thread for those events as well so you should join us for the next one.

Yes you absolutely should. Some of the real plus points about these events is that they provide commentaries throughout to explain much about the games (some of my favourite ones are where a developer gets involved e.g., Banjo-Kazooie).

  11. Ok, so it's my favourite PPV of the Year tonight : the WWE Royal Rumble. It's disappointed me the past couple of years, but this one does have the potential to be good. AJ Styles vs Cena should be great, as should the Raw Tag Team match. The rumble itself I'm struggling to predict, which is good considering the past couple of years have been easily predictable. I'd love to see Chris Jericho win it with Undertaker coming 2nd.

Orton has gone up in odds which has surprised me, I just hope they go with something as predictable as Strowman happens!

  12. Wow, just wow...

Oh... I mean he couldn't have picked a worse section to say something like that, during one of the most popular runs! I guess a lot of the runners/couch are used to live streaming their runs, but not physically performing them in front of live audiences, where they're so much more unpredictable. It was hardly the audience playing up, and to come out with that was sad and immature.

On the plus side, I thought the rest of the event was great as always. I'm still catching up on a lot of the runs I missed. The NES Duck Tales race was one I enjoyed so much more than I thought I would!

  13. We should be getting a release date, right?

With (potentially) just a couple of months to go until launch they'll have to give one. This isn't an iPhone so Nintendo need to give more than a weeks' notice!

They need to go all out. The casual gamer won't know about the console so they need to get that hype train rolling quickly!

  14. If you get chance to see it, me and my family are in the background for pretty much the entire thing! Me and my kids were the only ones chanting for lashley :p We are also the only ones chanting cowboy sucks and singing England when spud was on. We were so loud and into it that they gave us vip tickets for the photo afterwards with Pope and Moose which they then tweeted out!

That sounds like a great evening! I'm only just getting round to catching up on Impact Wrestling and I've just watched your episode. Awesome that you got to see Aron Rex's debut promo (a great talent in WWE and he deserves success somewhere). Thank goodness you guys were there as Impact crowds aren't always as vocal as they should be!

  15. Finally they've decided to bring this to the PS4. I've been wanting to try the KH series for ages, but without a PS3 I was disappointed they seemingly had no plans to bring the updates to the PS4. If this is indeed the full series as others have mentioned then that's terrific news! A sure fire seller and one Im delighted to see that the publishers have seen sense!

  16. It's just astonishing that Roy Hodgson can be so clueless in such a high profile job.

I disagree with this. I don't think we lost tactically. We controlled the majority of the game and it's great to finally see an England team with an attacking line-up. I'm not saying I agree with every one of his decisions, but I don't think we failed to win due to Roy's tactics.

It's frustrating to not have one, and that while we had a fair few chances, I'm struggling to recall any that actually came to our strikers. They all fell to our midfielders (yes I'm including Rooney as that was his position today) so I'd like to see our strikers more involved against Wales and Slovakia.

Whoever told Kane to take corners needs a lobotomy.

    They were shocking tonight!

  17. Quick predictions before the actual event. A great chance for some to rise up and shine, due to the lack of real star power / standout matches on the card:

    HHH vs Reigns (Hmm...)

Brock vs Dean (this will make Dean look good, although expecting Wyatt interference)

Taker vs Shane (I sure hope the Undertaker gets a win, but I can see a screwy finish)

AJ vs Jericho (match of the night contender, and I'm a huge fan of both of these guys)

IC Ladder Match: Kevin Owens (tough call between him and Sami, although I'd like to see Dolphins with the title again)

New Day vs League Of Nations

    Sasha vs Becky vs Charlotte

    Usos vs Dudleys

    Ryback vs Kalisto

Battle Royale: Bray Wyatt (there's a distinct lack of Wyatts on the card considering how they were built up at the beginning of the year)

Here's hoping for some surprises and this one exceeds my expectations.

  18. I love using the off-TV option. I use it when there's something on TV or while in bed (our room being just above the TV helps with the range issue). It's a shame there's such a difference in quality between the TV and GamePad, but I've been able to play for many more hours because of this excellent option.

  19. Mark Hamill was a guest on "Saturday Night Takeaway" tonight and I absolutely loved it when he did one of the links in his Joker voice (after they mentioned his BAFTA nomination for playing the Joker in Arkham Knight). It's the first time I've actually seen him do it and he went straight into it, maniacal laughter and all!

  20. Really sad news. He Wa still performing and his shows were only cut short upon news of his tumour. A performer until the end. I was one of those bought up with a Panl Daniels Magic Set. He found a niche and made the most of his opportunity. Sad news and a big loss to the entertainment industry.
