  1. I'm also too lazy to make one for myself which is why most of my online handles have really catchy numbers like Josh64128.

With a nickname like that, it's a good thing you don't know any other Joshes in real life. It'd be especially annoying if the other Joshes had a similar lack of imagination.

  2. I suggest Boy Ashley and Girl Ashley. Unless the other Ashley is male, too. Then I guess you'll have to fight for dominance.

I had the same name as my old manager. Fortunately, everyone called him by his last name, so that worked out for me.

  3. I for one like having fewer subforums to never check ever, but disapprove of starting new threads when anything anyone could want to post can be bent to fit into threads that already exist.

Of course Nintendo threads should be in the Nintendo board and threads relating to other consoles and their games have their place too. General gaming still has its place, for now.

    Online Gaming?

  4. The same thing happened to me yesterday afternoon, but I was supposed to be working, so I didn't want to say anything.

Everything was back to normal when I got home and everything's working now, though.

  5. the movement feels less clunky (plus, there's a "dodge" button)

And a dedicated 'interact' key that works regardless of which mood you're in! Man, the first game was clunky.

My brother and I still joke about how tone deaf Twinsen is when he sings the ferryman song. :p

  6. Oceanhorn is literally just Zelda, but worse in every way. There's not a single thing in the game where you can say, well, it's Zelda, but at least it does this one thing in a way that makes it worth playing. No, it's just The Wind Waker, but with worse combat, graphics, puzzles and story.

The only way I could see it being worth playing is if you've never played a Zelda game and don't know any better.

  7. I tried one of these online dating websites a few weeks ago for the first time. I joined OKC with low expectations, but damn... I'm worse at this than I expected. The only two messages I got were from two girls I had sent a message before. I messaged around 10 (ok, the first two weeks only one, and when I saw that there was no answer I decided that I needed to send more), so that's quite low already. Bad thing is, they never answered to my second message.

I read the tips you guys have posted in this thread and I tried to follow them, but I did something very wrong probably. Should I be changing subject a lot in the second message? I was not, I was basically asking them further about their answer, and not telling much about me. I'll try saying more if there's a next time, but I didn't want to send a very long message either.

Ten girls really isn't that many. Online dating is a numbers game. You should be messaging new girls all the time.

I wouldn't worry too much about them not responding to your second message. That's apparently one of the hardest things to do while online dating for some reason. I like to think that they get so excited about finally having found the perfect guy that their hearts stop and they die painfully while trying to figure out the perfect synonym for 'amazing' to put in their second message.
