Just tried hooking my Switch up to the internet through my phone as a hotspot. Worked without a hitch. Going to be using that when I'm commuting after online comes.

Can I link that new Japanese Nintendo Account to my Nintendo Network ID? That is the same ID that is linked to my European account.

Barbaric, I know. And even without a screen protector. But god damn, its nice to bring the Switch on the bus and play some lovely Zelda all the way!

Quick impressions: I really like the system, and its sturdiness. It realy screams quality! And despite all odds (and my big hands) the joy con are a joy (heh) to use. The UI is nice and quick, and it actually "fits" in my jacket's inner pocket. Just played on the loo for the first time, ever. What a time to be alive!

This is great news! In other great news, I just got confirmation that my Switch is ready for pick up tomorrow at 10AM, and at a 20% discount! Tomorrow is shaping up to be a really, really good day. Time to swap friend codes...

Yeah, that was incredible. Made me much more enthusiastic about the Switch after Zelda, and made me interested in a lot of new games. Flipping Death looked amazing, Shakedown Hawaii looked rad, Mr. Shifty, that looked awesome! It's gonna be some nice handheld months!

I was first to order at my local store (which is next door to my house) and I took friday off from work so that I could spend the day in Hyrule, but they're now saying they won't be getting the Switch until the 4th. So I'm on the lookout for a new one at a store I know will have it on launch day. Better yet, I've gotten a 20% off-deal if I buy it at that store, so in total I'll save around £100 . I'm going to call them when they open and see if there is any Neon available, but the Switch and Nintendo isn't that popular in Norway so it should be easy enough (I hope). So for launch day I'll end up with the following Switch Neon The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Cant wait! ) Carrying case PRO controller, if I bother. Might wait and see if I think the Joy cons are horrible :P.

The store I've pre-ordered from have their "estimated" delivery date for the Switch consoles set to the 8th of march, but the store clerk assured me that it would be there on time when I pre-ordered the console. I was the 2nd person to pre-order, and I have friday off work just to play Switch, so they better deliver. I went there last week to see if there was any updates, but it looked like they still couldnt guarantee with a 100% safety that the console would be there on the 3rd. Jesus, if it isn't, I'll flip. I've just pre-ordered a Neon Switch and Zelda, but I guess I'll pick up an official carrying case as well.

Saw this on Gaf yesterday. Holy hell, that thing is blazingly fast! Its gonna be a big draw for me on using it as a handheld. Best feature about the DS and the 3DS line, was that you just opened them and kept on playing. This is a similar feature.

We dont know, and that is only a theory from Gaf (at least that is where I first read it). I really hope its not a hardware problem. If it is, its gonna hit Nintendo hard.

I've taken friday off. Going to say goodbye to the missus when she leaves for work at seven, and then I'm gonna have a good breakfast and clear some space for the Switch, and then I'm heading over to the store next door when it opens at 9AM. After that, it'll be all drooling over the new toy, as well as going full Zelda mode the rest of the day/weekend.

Ugh. I don't ever get the joy of watching an unboxing video, especially if it's a product you know you're gonna get. I watched one of the Wii U before I got one, and it completly ruined the joy for me when I unboxed it on my own. I knew everything that was in the box, and where it was. I'm not gonna ruin the joy for me this time. Unboxing is sacred! ...but thats just my thoughts :P. Aaaand I got my wish grantet (Thanks Ashley!) and my new name is ArtMediocre. I would like to change my name to ArtMediocre. That will be my gamer name most places (including the Switch), so that'll make multiplayer with peeps here easier. Thanks!

Figured it out now. It just asks for a password because you haven't set a password to the Nintendo ID yet. So when I did that, it all went smoothly. I went with ArtMediocre as my ID. Kinda want to switch to that name here as well, but oh well, you cant have everything.. Edit: Beaten to it :P.

Oddly enough, I cannot change my User ID. When I try to change it, the site just redirects me to the "Change password"-page. Witch is odd. Anyone have the same problem?

Kinda makes sense on the Switch with the extra Joy Con height and buttons though.

I really like the look of the sleek UI. As a graphic designer, one rule is usually correct: Less is more. This shines on the Switch . Everything at home is ready for the new console. Pre-ordered a long time ago (caved in), 32GB SD-card is purchased, space is cleared for the Switch near the TV, and friday the 3rd is a paid vacation! . LETS DO THIS, LESS THAN 2 WEEKS TO GO!

Yep, pretty much. I'm gonna have three profiles for myself, one for each region. I just hope that doesn't change if you can play your downloaded games or not. Probably not, but anyway, region lock is gone! I'm just happy about that. The Switch might take over as the niche game system of Japan, like Vita is today.

Image 01: You can have the same Nintendo Account on multiple Nintendo Switches. Image 02: You cannot share the same Nintendo Account on multiple profiles on the same Nintendo Switch. Image 03: You cannot have multiple Nintendo Accounts on a single Nintendo Switch Profile. That is what I get from the picture. So according to this, you need to create a few profiles if you want to have multiple regions on the same Switch. And then link the accounts to those profiles. I think.
