It would be pretty nifty that if you shook the controller for long enough, the screen would shake and revert back to the 8-bit graphics to the accompaniment of the power down noise and then the same could work to bring them back to 16-bit with the power up sound. Looking at the pics Flink posted though, I have to to agree that SMW looks so much better than the NSMB efforts. I always thought it in my mind but I wasn't sure if I was just being unnecessarily harsh on NSMB as I'm not a big fan. According to those pictures at least, I was right all along.

I do still go the gym but I'm not going 6 times a week any more - tends to be 3 times or so but then I'll play 5 aside in the week as well. This last month or so has seen me in a bit of a not too great place, and it's had a big impact on my food intake and sleep. Consequently I've not had the motivation, let alone the strength to go as often as I used to.

I'm looking forward to moving out and starting University. The change of scenery and having new faces to see instead of the same ones I always do now coupled with a new challenge and yeah, should be good. Looking forward to Eurogamer Expo - I have tickets for the Friday and I was worried it may have clashed with uni but now I know it won't, it's not a problem. It turns out though that freshers' week is actually a fortnight so it's all good (and that's something else to look forward to). Never been to anything like that before and should prove a good opportunity for a night out after wards. In theory I should look forward to my birthday but past experience tells me it's not worth the hassle. I am looking forward to one day in particular though. I have no idea when/if it will come but it doesn't stop me looking forward to it.

You were disappointed by Majora's Mask? How is that even possible. I think people are being too quick to judge SS. The demo was just that - a demo to show off how the controls will work. A tech demo and not something the entire game should be based on. So far we know it features Link and he uses a sword... Well I'll be damned - it's the same as all the rest... And by all accounts, the tech worked well for the most part on the show floor, even if Miyamoto-san's on stage demonstration was affected by interference.

You don't shake it so much as just move the cursor off screen - time also slows down to make it easier to dodge that way too. I'm sure it is explained in game and in the manual. And as for Metroid Prime, well this game seems to drop any references to the events of the Prime series all together - apparently this is Samus' first time working with the GF since she left to become a Bounty Hunter which completely contradicts Corruption. But yes, they do take place between the original/Zero Mission and Return of Samus.

I would have thought even when cutting it "normally", unless you have really short hair, they'd be thinning it slightly as well so it looks more natural.

My time shows as 12:01:29 with 95%. There were some items I gave up on trying to get as although I could see them, I couldn't figure out how to actually get to them.

I always refer to you as Stephy... *gulp* Anyway, things that annoy me... Well number one is being lied to. How difficult is it to either tell the truth or just say you'd rather not tell me. There's no need to lie about it. And I like to think I'm fairly good at knowing when someone isn't being honest with me - my past experience suggests I am anyway. Next up, being deliberately ignored. If you're ignoring me, how am I ever going to work out what the heck happened and stop myself doing it again providing you have a reason of course. This I get a lot of too. I sent someone a mail the other day and it took them 10 days to reply. I stopped sending this person text messages some 4 months ago on the grounds they never replied to single one. They opened their reply with the line "Firstly please don't think I was ignoring this message" and I'm thinking, well maybe not this one, but what about all the rest? I'm in the kitchen making some food so obviously, I need the worktop space and access to various things dotted about the room... so why, oh why, do people insist on suddenly deciding to do themselves' something to eat now I'm actually using the kitchen and taking up as much space as possible. Were those couple of hours when I stayed away not enough time for them? If it were the other way round, I know they'd be moaning about it. Now I've barely room to move and it's an accident waiting to happen.

I was stumped at that part too red shell - too me a while to figure It out but I got there in the end. And the part that followed happened to me too But it didnt slow me down too much. Finished the game not too long ago with 95% completion rating. Not too sure about my time as it never flashed up. On the whole, I thought it was a really good. Comparisons to Fusion are difficult to avoid for several reasons, one of which I did rather like, so its not all bad.

Well the other two members of my party are named Sheena and Maxwell - both after the Tales of... characters. Maybe I should have stuck to the random name generator...

Well things aren't too smooth between me and that person. Consequently, to play the game is to remind me of them, so I am reluctant to do so.

I made the unfortunate decision of naming one of my characters after someone... and well... you can imagine what comes next. And whilst I could go drop them and get a new member, that they will be constantly under leveled compared to everyone else in my team is putting me off doing that. So I feel like I'm in limbo. In terms of progress, the last major thing I did was defeat some monster that got sealed into a jar to remove a curse on a nearby city. So not very far really.

Let's face it, the longer you are awake, the more food you are going to need to keep yourself going - also your body is getting less chance to recover through sleep so something has to give it the energy it needs.

Which one is the in game shot and which is the film? I can't tell them apart.

I have to say I'm really struggling to get into this game and haven't played it much - maybe if I did actually play it more, I would, but I just don't feel the urge to.
