The Vcore thing is kind of weird, as 1.08V is really low, but that means your CPU should generate less heat. Something wrong with the connectors I'd say.

Any of the inputs bar scart will give you high-def quality. I don't know if the HDMI is any more expensive than the other cables, but it does give the best picture (very marginally though) and it's only one cable to connect. VGA and component give you three cables, so it's not as clumsy.

It's most likely an audio jack, and that means you'll need a converter. This is slightly complicated so I'll illustrate it to you. Stuwii, first of all you need the HDMI cable shown above. I'll post it again: Now, as you'll notice, the cable has two audio ouputs - one for left and one for right audio. The copper connectors on the right cable are those outputs. First of all you need cables to connect your audio to anything. Finally, to connect the video, you need to put this HDMI to DVI adapter on top of the cable end you connect to your TV. 360 HDMI cable: You connect HDMI in the right plug at the top. The two other copper connectors are left and right sound, that's right. Get RCA connectors for the sound, and get a DVI adapter for the HDMI plug.

Scart doesn't compare to DVI. Try plugging in your computer's sound, or an MP3 player, in your TV, and see how to get sound in your TV's DVI mode. You can make the 360 work the same way. Or maybe, you know, just check the manual.

Yeah, it has VGA (it's the D-Sub connector alright). It's a shame you're in Canada and can't profit from the ridicilously cheap US dollar at the moment. Shipping makes the total about $50 Also, before I forget, because the cable is a bit weird, you need a standard VGA cable (it's like $2) to finish the connection to your monitor and a RCA to audio jack converter to connect speakers if you don't have a home cinema system.

Read my post again, I didn't promote piracy - I specifically mentioned nobody was violating any copyright. If you want to run your software on your Wii, then Nintendo shouldn't create anything that breaks your Wii when you do so. They're free to restrict it however they can, but homebrew is not illegal per se. I don't see why I would pay 250 euros and not get to do whatever I legally can with it. FYI, most people into homebrew do it for fun, to develop Wii software they'd otherwise have to pay thousands of dollars for. There's too much piracy involved, yeah.

I am of the opinion that, when you pay 250 euros for your Wii, you can do whatever the fuck you want with it. Nintendo can't force you Terms Of Use to only have Nintendo licensed stuff running on it. This homebrew community isn't violating any copyright, so they should be free to do whatever they want. Nintendo are free to try to stop them, but bricking their Wiis goes too far.

That's not a DVI cable ^, it's VGA if anything. DVI connectors look different. Nintendo hasn't released a DVI cable as far as I'm aware, and the output module of the Wii isn't capable of outputting a digital signal. Your best chances to connect to a monitor is either buy one with component inputs, or buy a regular DVI one and connect your PC to DVI instead of your Wii. If your PC is old, you may need to check if your graphics card has a DVI out.

Doubt you can do it. A DVI port on the monitor itself is likely digital signal only (don't know that for sure), and there's no way for the Wii to output a digital signal (know that for sure). Don't you have an open VGA port? That's way easier. If your computer occupies the port, it's way easier to connect your computer to the DVI port than the Wii.

Germany had far more scoring opportunities than the Portugese. Most attacking play by Portugal was predictable. The team didn't really seem to have much chemistry. Germans didn't play brilliant either, but they showed a huge improvement over the Austria match. Their copying of the Dutch 4-2-3-1 approach showed good results. Their defense still sucks and they only scored because of some weak defending, but still, this won't be a walkover.
