Game features Mii Support! albeit on human like bodies to fit in with the other characters!
-
Guess he'll just show up in the Torchwood facility whenever the Doctor gets called there by Martha, though yeah I guess he may go on a mission. Can't see Martha and Rose being in the same episodes though, I think they'll keep Martha's three episodes and Rose's three episodes seperate. At a guess I'd say Rose's may be the three final episodes.
-
Good news as she's been by far the best assistant of the new series! and the story between her and the doctor was great!
-
What you you suggest that means them doing?
-
I completely agree! I'm not excited about this game at all! Bikes No, Stunts No, Gimmicky Karts No, Graphical Style Not really a fan... Mario Kart really should go back to a much more classic style. I'm betting Mii's are driverable characters in this though, which should be fun.

But there's no reason for it to look remotely like a Dreamcast game, even if it is one of the better ones! The Wii is capable of SO much more! And I don't think I was exagerating, Bandai/Namco and Tri-Crescendo should be aspiring to much higher things on the Wii! Sure the Wii isn't gonna be capable of Eternal Sonata visuals, but it can produce something artistically as impressive!

Oh come on, the in game graphics look poor atm!

Trailer Analysis - 2D, 2.5D or 3D? http://www.gametrailers.com/player/28232.html?type=flv

With Namco Bandai and Tri-Crescendo working on the game I'm expecting great things, when you see all the games they've worked on. However, by todays standards and going on what the Wii is capable of, this looks graphically very poor atm and isn't up to their usual standard. It's textures and character models are comparable to Skies on the Dreamcast [all those years ago] and even that was probably smoother looking. But at 30% development A LOT can still change! The setting/story/gameplay are all sounding encouraging atm, so that's good!

The tracks in this game just look so dull and uninspired, http://www.gametrailers.com/player/27315.html http://www.gametrailers.com/player/27312.html Graphics are very average.

What a horrible boxart! The font, the way the writing's set out, the figure on the right, the colour combination etc... what a mess!

That's nothing like the same thing! Everyone knows Mario and Luigi worldwide and can distinguish between them as two different characters. Fire Emblem is a far less known franchise and has far less recognisable characters worldwide. Marth and Roy were similar enough for people introduced to the series through SSBM [which I'm sure was a considerable percentage]. So to put in Ike and Marth, would be like playing as almost the same character for many people.
-
Yeah but a number of character are getting speed changes in Brawl, like Fox.
-
I'd have thought Roy had a better chance of returning on the basis that Marth just looks so similar to Ike!
-
I just don't get that though! From the looks of the gameplay/interview video, there designing it around environments and scenes from [at least] the first movie! Unless there is an opening chapter or two that summarise the first and second movies, and then it's on to new content?

According to IGN,

No worries, i'm sure loads of people just stick to the Wii board! What you mean the 'third movie' [as it were] is the console game? I've heard rumours that the third movie will be an animated/CGI movie with the cast adding their voices. This game however, seems to be a remake of the first [and maybe second] film; with levels built around locations in the first film and marshmallow man etc... Maybe the intention of the game is to help catch 'newcomers' up on the Ghostbusters story, before they release a third movie!? Which by the way I REALLY hope they choose to do as 'live action'! Bring the cast back for one last nostalgic outing! If Indy can do it!

There's actually a Ghostbusters thread in the Other Consoles board [as it is a multiplatform game], however as I posted in that thread: In the Wii version you had better be able to motion with the nunchuk to throw out the Ghost Traps at just the right time, after having fired out a Proton Stream from your Wii-mote and had a 'force-feedback' [luigi's mansion] style motion fight with the ghost to capture it! EDIT: Found some footage! Looks AWESOME! and seems to be based on the first movie which is cool! At around 3:07 mins you here them mention Luigi's Mansion and Gears of War [obviously two key inspirations] More footage! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLi9_uPg1Tk This game footage differs from the prototype game footage:

They really should put some effort into smoothing the graphics out and re-doing some of the effects that look rubbish, like the rain! It's just pure lazyness from Sega!
-
Well really it's the fault of whoever knocked the phone off, after all, it wouldn't have ended up in the water if it hadn't of been knocked off!
-
Yeah basically just set more than one alarm. An alarm clock, a mobile, and the radio should do the trick, with one being the other side of the room so you have to get up to switch it off.
-
Nope, just LOADS of rain all day today!

He-Man About... I don't get this, are they worried about political correctness or something?! What exactly is the issue here? And also, how many other ways are they to say He-Man!? Anyways, more excited to see how Thundercats turns out myself!
