  1. "Black Hawk Down... we got a Black Hawk Down" I remember when the game was very first announced along with the original trailer, the team/creator said they wanted to create a game that had that Black Hawk Down feeling of you being at the centre with the enemy closing in around you on all sides. Looks like they may have gone for that exact same movie scene as one of the scenarios; perhaps you have to protect the pilot as the enemies close in! Would be kind of like a step-up from the house seige in Resi 4! Does look awesome! love the picture of Chris looking over the bridge and river. If the girl is a new character, I would have MUCH rather they'd used Claire, but hey, there's a good chance she might turn up as well. I guess in this new girl, Chris has his very own Ashley [a new female companion], only I expect this girl to be playable for much longer and also wielding those guns, a much better character! Can't wait!!
  2. The original trailer with the blue drawing pencil actually hinted towards this game, what with the whole blueprint aspect of it all. After watching the gameplay video I am truely dissapointed. I couldn't be less like Banjo if they'd tried! I also REALLY dislike the visual style of everything, which is even more un-Banjo! Also, the expansive dome central hub; that's the only environment in the whole game? with all the mini-levels crammed in under it?.... BORING!! It doesn't even look that expansive via plane.
  3. Yeah he seems to be holding a 'wand' in the tightrope screen.
  4. Ahh... memories!
  5. Yeah I think that may be right, Not liking the sound of it from the new info.
  6. I thought it might look like that! It's basically identicle to the Pitfall game from last generation [Xbox, GC, PS2], rather than the Wii reinvention I was hoping for! Here are two trailers of the last generation version, Pitfall: The Lost Expedition: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/2776.html http://www.gametrailers.com/player/2777.html
  7. Agreed. I really don't like the art style the games taken, I just don't like the visual look of anything really in those screens. It doesn't remind me in any way of the originals and I've just lost so much interest in this game!
  8. The First Four Episode Titles:
  9. I'd agree DK 64 really wasn't that great. But to call BK a Mario 64 clone is unfair. What makes it a clone of it? Sure it followed the game and so was bound to be judged by its standards, but then the same could be said about ANY 3D platform game. Mario 64 also had its share of collecting, and in many ways BK improved on Mario with larger levels full of character, better visuals, more charm, more gameplay types etc... They're both awesome games, and it's really just down to personal opinion I suppose!
  10. Seriously WTF?!!DK64 fair enough, but Banjo Kazooie was one of the finest games of that whole generation! It's only two screens, he'll be in the backpack. And yeah, it better not be vehicle heavy! Why the plane? I'd much rather Kazooie do the flying with Banjo daggling beneath! Actually that looks like the same vehicle in both screens, and it has morphing abilities... but still!
  11. Skate It, on the balance board!! If they pull that off well it'll be absolutely awesome!!
  12. Still not overly keen on Banjo's [and Kazooie's] character design! And I certainly don't get that classic Banjo-Kazooie feel from looking at those screens. It looks to be taking quite a different direction art wise, and yeah I hope it's not vehicle heavy. Saying that though, I do quite like the new environment style and they had to do something to advance the series. And hey, it's only two screens and from only one game world! And OMG do those graphics look fantastic!!
  13. Other Season 3 info we have so far: Season 3 Teaser: Teaser assumptions: Tim Kring Info: Reported New Characters: Sophie Possibly the latest bride of Takezo Kensei [but not confirmed], The 10 Brides of Takezo Kensei [well worth a watch] http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/video/video_display.shtml#mea=200529 - The ending... either Adam already has a new wife out there in the world who he is certain will someday come to his rescue, or he's saying the woman that will one day find him is destined to be his next bride. Joy Has the power of Super Speed,
  14. ROFL! Tapedeck, we're going into business! Starting with our pitch to Codemasters!
  15. Think that's cos Gametrailers have the exclusive. And a WHOLE 5 hour one at that it would seem!
  16. Yeah I know it was wishful thinking really! though you wouldn't need that gearstick attachment. You could have the the Wii Wheel, complete with non existant flappy paddle gearbox and set the balance board up at you feet for interactive peddles! Result!..... or not!

  18. Shouldn't Gametrailers have the Gears video up any time now? EDIT: Never mind, just seen they have a countdown clock on their website: 5hrs 25mins and counting!
  19. Gametrailers have got the latest gameplay video of GRID: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/33742.html Makes my anticipation for their F1 game skyrocket even more! To have the cars and tracks looking THAT good! It's a shame the Wii Wheel doesn't get another button on the underside, or we would have had our very own 'flappy paddle' gearbox!
  20. I disagree, Provided they are going with an adult Pit, then real or not, I think that is a fantastic design:
  21. lol, you're welcome. I'd never heard of the game before so needed to look into it anyways! If it was $30 on the Xbox it may very well be a budget title.
  22. For an understanding of the game, check out Gametrailers video review of the 2006 Xbox version: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/11171.html
  23. Just to clarify to those with a problem over this new Pit design, Factor 5's 'supposed' pitch invisaged an Adult Pit. So it's not yet another reinvention of the charcter or anything, it's the same one, but older [though that seemed obvious]:
  24. T'is true!
  25. We've just been talking about this news in the F1 thread. It's fantastic Codemasters have got the license and I think it's a very likely there will be a Wii version. Codemasters have recently spoken of wanting to bring games to Wii: Even if they don't get round to bringing GRID to Wii, it will be another year before the first Codemasters F1 2009 game is released, and I fully expect them to be in full support of the Wii by then! UK Boxart also confirmed: .....or just something I cobbled together! [lol, quite pleased with that!]
