What are you talking about! I don't think anyones bothered in the slightest by the list as it can't be taken remotely seriously! It's all a big joke!
-
No, it's GAME's customers voting for their 100 favourite games of all time. If it was a sales list, we wouldn't be needing petitions for Shenmue 3! Speaking of which, how can customers have voted it number 25 when no-one bought/played it!

Hopefully the three treasures in each level are very difficult hidden extras for going back and completing the game 100%, like in Wario Land 1; and not just hidden along branching paths that you will eventually come across on your way to the level goal. Sounding good though!

lol, Call of Duty 4! and GTA 4, Halo 3 etc... for that matter!

What was 'wrong' with Twilight Princess?
Retro_Link replied to Falcon_BlizZACK's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Reminded me we had a thread like this not so long ago, to which I replied: I'd love a real exploration, braving harsh weathers, weathers that change the environment, snow drifts that open up areas you never knew were there ling after you've finished the game etc... -
What was 'wrong' with Twilight Princess?

Yeah I was gonna say the reason the Triforce of Courage doesn't give Link any 'powers' is because it's Courage, it gives him courage! We usually see it glowing on his hand going into the last boss battle, because it's giving Link all the WILL power and strength he needs to go kick some against Ganondorf! Having said that... Zelda's is Wisdom! and there's no real reason why she should get magic capabilities from that. So yeah for the next Zelda why not let the triforce empower Link with some 'couragous'/strong moves, ala SSBB. -

I think we were all a little decieved with Twilight Princess, because we certainly didn't get what everyone percieved from this: and I myself was just let down by the story that we did end up with because I'd conjured up this awesome scenario that just didn't materialise. And when you look at a screen like this: You just didn't have anything like the freedom it portrays! I want to be able to run and ride up and over the hills and have total freedom to move around; not have to hookshot up to a specific point and only be able to move around the occasional '1st story only' grass ledge! -

Yeah agreed, It's been said many times I know but; For the next game I'd be happy seeing a Fierce Deity Link vs Majora storyline spin-off, Then on to a Lord of the Rings esque Great War, major Triforce epic of a Zelda, full of exploration! Where all the races really come into their own, we see the Sheikah fighting, Zora/Goron/Hylian armies etc... And yeh Ganondorf didn't look right in TP, for the 5 seconds he was actually in it that is, wtf! Zant was it? He was rubbish! -

I thought it was pretty soul-less tbh! The overworld was pretty big, but completely deviod of life; there was just nothing going on what-so-ever! Personally I wasn't overly keen on the overall story, wolf link and Midna, the two dimensional twilight idea, the alien like shadow enemies, I dunno I just wasn't keen, it didn't have a Zelda feel to me! And there were just small frustrating things like, why on earth did Epona run so stupidly! why you could barely use some of the weapons, and how you couldn't use the spinner as transport etc... Also sound-wise; the music was completely forgetable and for the first time the voice sound-fx really quite annoyed me, especially Midna! I'm fine with Link never talking, and things like monkeys etc... but everyone else in the world neede to be given personality! There was also a lack of side-quests, resulting in you not really caring about the world as you never got to know or care about the characters in it. I agree with the overworld 'barrier' thing. Also, the temples and bosses are beginning to feel too familiar on the whole! I'd like the next Zelda to have a FAR greater emphasis on exploration! -
Definately a greater emphasis on surface levels than underground levels. Yeah weather would be great, and even more so if related to the weather channel. Wonder if they'd do raindrops really big? Would be awesome to see dry dips in the ground become raging rivers for the Pikmin, having to find alternate routes, or ways to cross them!

Yeah it looks awesome doesn't it!Hope they do the other Gunships at some point, so you can have Varia suit Samus next to the ship from Prime 1. They're jumping around the series to much atm! Prime: Varia Suit, Gravity Suit Echoes: Zero Suit, Gunship Hunters: Trace [wtf?] They probably will do the other gunships actually, because they have a seperate 'Gunship Series' folder on their website, as opposed to putting it in the Metroid folder. Saying that, you could always get Zero Suit Samus to go with this Echoes Gunship, but suited Samus is much cooler!

Regarding Raiden, Are they likely to have left it ambiguos, so as to make a future entry in the series that spans the story of Raiden?
-
Some of those classic characters better make it into the next Mario Kart, instead of the crap [like Dry Bowser, wtf!] they keep creating! Hammer Bros, Monty Mole, Kamek and normal Boo etc.. ftw! And bring back Paratrooper [in MK]!
-
Thanks for the photos!Awesome collection PeeJ, Samus looks fantastic, as do those Mario caps!
-
Only 5 acts Hero, so last one!
-
Any chance you could post photo's of the Samus model? Would be good to see it outside of promotional photos.

Penalty 'harsh', rules 'silly' - Hamilton http://en.f1-live.com/f1/en/headlines/news/detail/080610140621.shtml Rosberg says crash penalties justified http://en.f1-live.com/f1/en/headlines/news/detail/080610154616.shtml I'm actually despising Hamilton! Hold your hands up and accept you made a mistake you moron! He's yet to apologise for the crash, instead just acts like an arogant pr*ck all race weekend and now he's crying over his punishment! He doesn't seem to have realised that even if he hadn't of hit Raikkonen he still would have been disqualified from the race for running the red light, so there's no way he would of won the race anyway! Hat's off to Rosberg for acting like a professional, despite Hamilton actually leading him into that accident!

Trailer ONLY JOKING! Here it is: For a better quality trailer go to this IGN link: http://uk.wii.ign.com/dor/objects/14245910/pyroblazer/videos/pyroblz_061108.html Despite lacking personality, graphically I think this looks rather nice!

Same! I think I'm gonna hold out a coupla weeks for Smash though and then get Boom Box afterwards.

So Mushroom Gorge Mirror Mode?

These screens and others reminds me of Metroid in some ways [think there's something quite Space Pirate about some of the enemies]: Looking good!

For £100,000 a year I'm sure he aint complaining! He described the job as Digital Advertising on BBC News this morning, which sounded better, as opposed to on last nights show.
