The Symphonia Team should be ashamed of themselves! This looks fantastic!

Do a Barrel Roll!!: Ideas for the Next Starfox
Retro_Link replied to LazyBoy's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Yeah exactly, your not really 'on-rails' in that all movement is done for you and you just shoot, you just have to stay within a corridor: But then you also get some open arena levels and boss battles: -
If anyone saw Doctor Who Confidential, her voice was totally normal in that. I thought maybe she had untimely just had some work done on her teeth perhaps [they did look very white] and I'm predicting that next episode her voice will be fine again.

New Video http://www.gametrailers.com/player/35351.html I think what they're doing with the combat system looks great! Could be on to a Spiderman winner!

Do a Barrel Roll!!: Ideas for the Next Starfox

Star Fox should be arcadey IMO, like I said before, last thing I want is it to become like Rogue Squadron with large open levels and slower feeling as a result etc... -

Tbh there's a big difference between the way Resi plays on rails, compared to a game that's built it's entire series on-rails. -

The last thing I want from Lylat Wars is a fly anywhere slow-ass game like Rougue Squadron etc... On rails keeps the action fast, and there could be a few open levels mixed in to offer a change of pace and style, but primarily the game needs to be kept fast and frantic. Multiple choices/outcomes resulting in differant ways to complete the levels and many branching paths also. -
Really can't see it having anywhere near as much depth as a proper beat-em-up though.

Don't know why they're bothering with this game, it just looks boring now that we've had so many similar! I'm looking forward to the Wii version because the Wii gets so few FPS and the fact that they've got the COD4 engine running on Wii. But the game seems a bit of a waste of time otherwise, they should be pushing forward with something to advance COD4, not going back to more of the same again!

Get Out!..... Seriously! Out! Go on! Out you get! -
If this doesn't have an adventure modes it's going to be one boring game!
-
Just watched all the new videos, looks cool! The environments are fantastic and the full 360degree navigation is designed really well. Snake battle is great! Really liked the Snake video, as it shows the interaction you have with humans which seems very well done. The scorpian vs spider cinematic was good also, interesting rivalry!

Well that's a thread about Ubisofts Play Zone label, but yeh someone merge them then. -
Love this "Play Zone" label already!! Might as well laugh, cos you'll only cry otherwise! See that meter in the bottom left hand corner of the last pic? Apparantly that tells you how you feel whilst playing the game!..... Clever huh! Why Ubisoft? Why?

Do a Barrel Roll!!: Ideas for the Next Starfox
Retro_Link replied to LazyBoy's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Yeah very nice idea, and the paths could overloop and connect up at certain points throughout the level before splitting up again; so brief opportunities arise to help out a fellow team-mate, or you all join up to kick some of the more difficult set pieces! -

- Unlockable Mii Crew. 4 player co-op Mii mode, where your Mii's replace the Starfox characters throughout the game/cutscenes. Soz, but I just love the use of Mii's in games! Other than that: - Mix of On-rails and Open [independance day] levels. - EPIC space battles/scenes. - Return to the original team/characters. - Multiple routes through levels [replayability]. - 'Hidden' planets/levels to unlock [via taking certain routes through levels or alternate end of level scenarios etc.]. - Co-op. -
Fake and loada rubbish!

What was 'wrong' with Twilight Princess?
Retro_Link replied to Falcon_BlizZACK's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Perhaps a little light looking yeah, but I think that's largely due to the constant undulation of the ground. But I just think Assassins looks much more realistic: -

Links expressions were great, and whilst at times they matched WW Link in terms of emotion, they didn't surpass them. Yeah Epona looked like a horse, but the gallop was horribly unrealistic and exagerated! Assasins Creed got the horse movements spot on and the sense of speed and energy you get from that gallop really adds to the excitment of being on horseback. -
Trailers: I don't like it when you can tell they've intentionally reversed Yoda's lines, especially to the point where they aren't easy to follow: "Find the renegades.. that hold Jabba's son.. your mission will be.... Skywalker" He only ever said the ocassional word out of place, not the whole bloody sentence the wrong way round! EDIT: New Screen

Should of been in the game, and more of the same. Bollocks. They must have found the only unnatural horse on the planet! Hopefully we'll get this scene in a future game. -
Yeah that's a nice little surprise, I've also had my Wii Fit age get stuck up there and not fall for a while, whilst my Mii looks around in bewilderment!
-
I think it looks fantastic! Really looking forward to seeing more of this! Though it better have a single player/co-op campaigne, and not just be battle mode!
