Some good new info! 30% of the game being underground sounds just about OK for me. I'm glad it's not anymore than that because the underground chapter of the original was the one I enjoyed least. I much prefered seeing the scenery and playing through the exteriors and interiors of the city, the power station etc...

I'm not so sure anymore.We'll get more Wesker [sorry but getting a little boring!] because it's Chris, and we'll probably get virus origin info [because of the leeches], which is where I think the flashbacks will tie in... But as for other character info... Sounds like they can't be arsed with creating an enveloping character story, so each game is now what it is! I think that explaination is kinda crap, I mean they could have just had it so that Rebecca or Billy had been posted out in Africa for the past few years [since Umbrella was taken down and this new organisation set up], and is the African operative.

I have to say, it is all looking WAY too similar to Resi 4! That high voiced wierdo at the start of the new trailer is like the new Salazar, there's chainsaw guys, minecarts, mines, cave networks, same gameplay, el gigante type cave trolls, del lago style giant crocodile, swamp hut area, helicopter crash, blow-up truck before it runs you over section, etc... but hey, I'll still play it! The rain soaked boat/tanker section looks cool, wonder where they're off to? out of Africa? Anyways, here's the giant RE2 style crocodile: and new el gigante cave troll thing:

Posted my thoughts in the Resi 5 thread where the video's also posted, so I'll copy and paste them: Looks alright, though the scenario would have made for a great game! t'is a shame! And hang on, it's a year after Resi 4 and yet the T-Virus is back?! I actually think the 'human' enemies of Resi 4/5 could have made this better, have 'em fricking legging it at them on mass like 28 days later/or Left 4 Dead! Actually after seeing Left 4 Dead, it's somewhere the Resi series could have really gone and really kept alot of it's scare factor. The 'human' enemies of 4/5 en mass, with crimson head speed, in a blacked out Airport [and then obviously on to a few other areas], would have been awesome! Looking forward to seeing more of this though! Leon and Claire are great!

Just noticed in this trailer... @ 1:46secs - is that a 'zombie' dog with its head split in half! @ 1:56secs - looks like a RE2 style big ass crocodile is in it! And just who is the cloaked person?! I initially assumed the character was male, but if you compare the person to the 'busty lady' @ 1:02 the cloaked character actually looks like they may have a smaller body shape under there and quite feminine hands... but who knows!... maybe Weskers even undergone a sex change!

Yeah watched these yesterday, they offer a nice overview to E3. Presume there will be more as they've done a 'Best DS game' so they'll probably be the other consoles and some other genres. Very surprised Sonic won their 'best DS game'! I mean I havn't been following the game what so ever, so maybe it is meant to be good.

Loads of people?I can't see this selling outside of Japan at all! not at all!

....that what I think it is?!!!! I don't think the swearing's funny in the slightest if I'm honest, there's just no need for it like that in a video game! One more reason why this won't get out of Japan!

Had a Great Intro!

Japan release date: New Video [featuring Little Mac from Mike Tyson's Punch Out] I think this will probably be the Nintendo Power feature for next month; But I just can't see it making it out of Japan! Even in those videos it doesn't translate well, and I don't think the humour is all that western either!
