  1. Strike Vector EX

Been out on PC for a while as a multiplayer game, but now coming soon to PS4 and XboxOne with a single player campaign mode. Yes please!
  2. Nintendo Switch - Happy Switchmas Everyone!

Likewise it doesn't make it look like a gaming handheld. It makes it look like the 1-2 Switch device.
  3. Nintendo Switch - Happy Switchmas Everyone!

The 1-2 Switch TV advert really bothers me. It don't promote the Switch as being a new Nintendo console, and instead makes it look like you're buying this portable mini-game device.
  4. Metro: Redux

Includes Metro Last Night, and the original game Metro 2033 (remade in the Last Light engine), updated for next gen consoles. Or they can be bought and downloaded separately online. I read the book of Metro 2033 (which is fantastic) in preparation for Metro Last Light on PS3 (which I have downloaded on PS Plus), but I think I'll just wait and give this a go at some point! Looks really good.
  5. Logan (2017)

Was quite shocked to see IGN give it a 9.7.
  6. Strike Vector EX

This is currently on sale on the PSN store: https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-gb/games/strike-vector-ex/cid=EP8938-CUSA05437_00-STRIKEVECTOREX01 Just downloaded it. I don't know when I'll get around to playing it, but just wondered if anyone else was tempted to pick it up and maybe we can get around to having a bit of a multiplayer session on it sometime.
  7. Nintendo Switch - Happy Switchmas Everyone!

Genuinely baffles me just how much people care about a consoles UI. I just accepted and took to the PS3's, the PS4's, the 3DS'... the Wii's was somewhat annoying because of the pointer controls. They're just menu's. And they're all pretty quickly navigable. Considering the amount of sheer options the PS4 console has, it is any real surprise it's not the most definitive UI?... likewise at the moment the Switch's may look simple and easy because there's absolutely bugger all there.
  8. RC Toys, Models and Other Stuff

    Thought I heard something.
  9. In fairness to Nintendo, other game developers announce DLC way before release in order to get people to pre-order. Mortal Kombat X being one of the worst offenders - and there are numerous others. Not gonna lie, I'm surprised at the price - without looking around to see how it compares, it instantly seemed high to me. At least with a lot of DLC you're buying into a year long season pass or something - but again I don't know enough about it. 8 or 9 dungeons can both be the right amount for Breath of the Wild because of the way has been designed. In Final Fantasy XV (haven't played it), there are hidden dungeons that many people loved so much they said they should have been included into the overall story etc... and very likely Nintendo is taking the same approach. However, the open world nature means that a new dungeon need not be tied to your overall quest. It could be a new playable character finding that dungeon as part of their own story - or it could be set post game. It could be a dungeon tied to an event in the world - a dungeon that appears only when something lines up astrologically/weather wise/season wise - all three. I think adding dungeons is potentially very fun. So long as they feel a part of the world and not somewhat cheap - like those challenge levels in the new Donkey Kong games.
  10. Sounds like praise for things that would have been ridiculed on the XB1 of PS4 to me, but hey ho. DLC1 sounds awful and cheap. Zelda has managed to include a Boss rush, or Cave of trials thing before now, and paying for hard mode... wow. DLC2 sounds great. Story expansions are always cool. Not being able to buy them separately is strange and somewhat off putting.
  11. Super Mario Odyssey

Very true. But keep those 64 visuals this time.
  12. Super Mario Odyssey

Just had a random thought. Do you think it would be cool to see one of the [secret] worlds this Mario visit - be Super Mario 64? Seeing as Mario seems to be almost 'dimension hopping' it would be kinda cool to see him appear outside the Mario 64 castle, in all it's 64 visuals glory. The contrast between smooth 2017 Mario and the blocky N64 world could be an interesting contrast. How much of the Mario 64 world Mario could explore (and what the purpose is) would be entirely up to Nintendo - although revisiting the Bowser fight could be fun. Perhaps upon Bowser hitting the final landmine the illusion is broken, to find Mario somewhere else - and he has to do battle with the real boss of the world. Could just be a fun call back, in what is a new 'sequel' to the exploration Mario games.
  13. General Retro Discussion

Oh right, true. I hadn't really looked at that 3rd pic being in situ.
  14. General Retro Discussion

I'm confused as to what that setup is... does a TV go on that table?... and if so, you have to reach behind the TV to put the game in. If not, that's one huge reach across.
  15. Nintendo Switch - Happy Switchmas Everyone!

Do you see this choice as a sustainable future for Nintendo?
  16. Skyward Sword is my second favourite behind Ocarina. Magical game.
  17. Arms

And that's the way it is. Huh!
  18. Arms

lol if Legs is the sequel. The Hitmonlee to Hitmonchan.
  19. Nintendo Switch - Happy Switchmas Everyone!

Yeah I had SO much fun with the 3DS game, it just needed a bit more variety in locations and more vehicles perhaps. Although I got what I needed to from it. Yeah, outside of Mario Kart there are few multiplayer games I feel suit 'meet-up multiplayer' better. It can be up there with Smash.
  20. Arms

I'll be honest, I'm not overly keen on the art style... I find it a little too 'clean'. It's the same problem I have with MK8, which isn't to say it doesn't look amazing... I just think there comes a point where a cartoony artstyle begins to take itself a bit too seriously, which is what I felt with MK8. It's the same thing with Melee's artstyle vs. Brawls.
  21. Arms

I feel like you've said it's perfect and then basically asked them to make a new one, in one sentence :p
  22. Arms

Spring Man/Ribbon Girl (alt costume) are so gonna be added to the port of Smash Bros.
  23. Nintendo Switch - Happy Switchmas Everyone!

lol Resi 4 is such an awful pick... I'd love to see a couple of Dreamcast classics make a return, most notably a new Super Monkey Ball that does SMB1 justice... and Power Stone, which has amazing 4-player local co-op potential with the portable and joycons. I'd settle for ports. CrazyTaxi would also be great too.
  24. Yooka-Laylee

Final evolution of the 'Prove It ticket' confirmed! #EasyAllies
