Seriously, life isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. I love life. Sure, it's like a rollercoaster, suddenly you're on a high, then you sink to a low. But, the best times are when you're on a low and you cheer up and you feel absolutely invincible. That's what being alive is all about. If every second in your life is a happy moment, you would get incredibly bored and you would just crave more. It's good to have balance where you have some good times and some bad times, because then you will experience both emotions. Sure, i've had many problems, but i know that i've had many truely amazing moments. It's just the way things work. Life isn't all doom and gloom. But it isn't a laugh a minute either. It can be stressful, but it can feel like freedom. It's meant to be all of these things. But, as the Oasis song "cigarettes and alcohol" goes: "you gotta make it happen". So make it happen.

The flip side is, without a shell or something, 3rd parties might not even bring the games to the Revolution because they might feel 'put off' by the controller.

If we all moaned about the bad stuff in the world, we'd be missing all the good things in life, and believe me..there are plenty of amazing things. You can enjoy school and your job. I've been working for 2 weeks in a primary school, and i've enjoyed every second of it. I'm now looking forward even more to becoming a teacher. Life is what you make of it. You can have a job you like, it's all about preference. There's more to life than worrying about religion. I know this as much as anybody, religion causes so many problems. Thing is, if you keep worrying about the bad stuff, it overshadows the good things, which just means you end up feeling unhappy when you could potentially be in an amazing mood. Of course you can have a happy life. But it's you who has to make it good. You can't rely on the world to change to fit in with your plans. Sometimes you have to struggle to get the things you really want, but that just makes the end product all that more sweeter. I hope i've made sense.

Can the media do anything right at the moment? It's like when they started those "petrol shortages" warnings, which causes people to go out and fill up...therefore resulting in a bigger shortage. I would rather they didn't do an article or a "story" on something, when they are not in full possession (sp?) of the facts. Like here.

Exactly. A revolution is 360 degrees, so imo it would be perfect to keep the name "Revolution" because of what the controller is capable of. I'd be surprised if they did change it really. It's a great name.

Well, the theory behind rep points is that you give "karma" (or something) to someone who has made a good post. You can also give bad karma to someone who has made a bad post. It's a good way of repping people who do make good, thought out posts on the boards, for example "johelian".

1. The news board is directly linked to the main site. It more or less replaces the old comments system. Basically, it's just a way of allowing people who browse the main site to come into the boards and talk about the news articles. I actually think it's good the way it currently is, because then all news that has been posted on the main site is in one place, whereas it would get lost in Revolution discussion board. 2. The reputation thing is confusing, so sorry if i get this wrong. I've had a total of 9 comments, yet my total was still 10. I think it has something to do with posts. The more posts the person who's repping you has, the bigger the 'power' they will have when they rep you. The problem with me was all the people who were repping me were doing it on the first day or second day of the site, when people still had low post counts! So, i believe they have to get above a certain postcount before the rep system fully comes into play. Athriller: We'll discuss it with the staff and we'll come to a decision. Although, i would agree on raising the avatar size limit before i agree on a sig limit tho, as i feel anything bigger than 500x150 is just plain silly. I think we can reach a compromise on this. Roadkill: These points will be brought us and talked over with staff. I'll see what i can do.

That would really affect someone psychologically. I guess it's really no different than having a new liver or kidney donated by someone else. But, i dunno. There are too many issues with this.

Not when it's posted in the rivals section, where quite a lot of people have more than one console.

It was an ok film, but it's nowhere near as good as it's made out to be. The film was far more focused on Billy Bob anyway.

Where did you find out all that information about the sonic game?

How would you have to rework the control settings? You would probably need a grand total of 2 buttons for a Sonic game. Hardly a massive task. And as Deku said: "THE FREAKING SHELL!!! SHELL SHELL SHELL SHELL!!!!"

Yup, that's it! The idea behind it still seems really interesting to me.

I've been noticing that there are many threads where people are explaining their own reactions to this controller. It's getting a little messy here, guys and gals. So, i think it would be best if we kept it all in one place. This forum is hectic, and new threads are being created a bit too often for my liking. So, here is your official reactions to the Controller thread! Post away. Both positive and negative feedback are equally as welcome. But let's not turn this into a flaming war.

The colours aint an issue at the moment. We do have the option for multiple "skins" and our staff will get round to implementing them. But, it will take time. We have only just launched and things are quite hectic around here.
