  1. David Hookelhoff?

    How awesome is that?
  2. Madden for Revolution

Sounds good, but i hope that they attempt to make more use of the controller in licenses other than Madden.
  3. Motion Sensor Also in Nunchuck Attachement?

A gyro in the nunchuku attachment would sorta be like having another 'analogue' stick. That's sorta how it feels like at the moment to me. If that makes sense.
  4. A sony revolution?

The 4d thing is correct. Sony will have a 4d machine. Why? Well, the machine must be a bluddy tardis if they think they're going to fit all that technology into that console shell. (there's been problems with that, apparantly). Haw haw, seriously, i don't see where Sony are going with this 4D comment.
  5. Newspapers

Haha, Dear Deidre owns. "Dear Deidre, I had sex with my boyfriend's mum, and now i am pregnant with his kid. The trouble is, i'm also seeing his father too!" Sooooo excellent. Don't really read any papers to be honest. Unless i'm at home and my mum gets the news of the world, which i love to take the piss at.
  6. Are you happy with your life?

True, true. But, enough of that. I think we are straying.
  7. Next EGM to Feature Revolution on Its Cover

If you really know something but are not willing to say what you know, what's the bluddy point in saying that you know something in the first place? It just makes you look even more egotistical.
  8. Are you happy with your life?

    And without the woman.
  9. Gamers make the better surgeons

I remember reading/hearing somewhere that videogames actually enable you to make decisions quicker than if you didn't play them at all. Some games you have to always be on your toes and alert. I agree with this.
  10. Are you happy with your life?

I'm happy with my life. I'm a bit ill at the moment, but that isn't stopping me from going out tonight and partying with my mates. The old me from newport would just stay at home if he was ill and that would be that. But, it seems like i've got more confidence now than i ever had. I don't seem afraid to say what i want to say anymore, which is a good thing because bottling up your feelings is always bad. I've got a great set of mates as well, and an awesome girlfriend. I'm also excited about next year and how that's going to turn out for me. I'm very rarely excited about something that's happening to me in a years time, but things have changed. I'm a lot happier since i moved out from home and into my uni halls. I do miss my mates from home though, but we can't have it all. I wouldn't say anything is exceptionally bad in my life, but i will try and change some things for the better. Gonna push myself harder next year to be the best that i can be. Exciting times. Jordan: Stuff will change, you just gotta wait for that chance or that big break to happen for it all to change for you. I got tired years ago thinking nothing good would ever happen to me, but it all eventually falls into place.
  11. Pffft! Roy, Marth, Link. Pfft to them all. They require projectiles and swords. Ganondorf ftw. Fists, mofo.
  12. Tony Hawks Downhill Jam: Rev EXCLUSIVE!!

Have you played American Sk8land on the DS?
  13. Tony Hawks Downhill Jam: Rev EXCLUSIVE!!

I picked up Tony Hawks American Sk8land for the DS, and i thoroughly enjoyed it. Also great use of the DS's capabilities, as well as a damn good game. If this game turns out to be better, then we could be in for a real treat here.
  14. Ganondorf is my fav and best character. I'm also pretty lethal with Mr Game & Watch, although my friends hate him.
  15. Playstation Discussion Archive

..what's the point?! We have a revolution board dedicated to that. Plus, there's already a thread created by yours truely with lotsa information bout the rev.
  16. Over/underrated games

I can only think of under-rated games really. Under-rated: Killer7: Didn't sell or get the attention that it deserved. An absolutely fantastic story and great dialogue. The graphical style was cool and collecting blood was addicting. One of my fave games ever. Eternal Darkness: I played this through 4 times, and i didn't get bored once. Some fantastic moments in this game, with a brilliant story and good voice acting to match it. A great game with a personality. Also one of my fave games ever. Cel Damage: A GC launch title, but hardly known. It's cel shaded and its by EA. But, don't let that put you off. It's one of my favourite cube games in multiplayer. Over-rated: Only one game springs to mind, and that is Timesplitters2. It seems good when you play it, but it just seems to lack something. I've often called it the game without a soul.
  17. CONCEPT: Super Smash Brothers Revolution Controls!

I think that's an excellent concept, and great use of the FHC controls.
  18. Your ideal night out...

To be honest, i have many 'ideal' nights out. But, i'll try and condense it all into one. First of all, this part would be cheating as it's not technically a night out, but meh. I'd have my 2 best mates from home come over to my place and we'd play some cube. I'd have some amazing times with them, and this would be the start of a perfect night. My girlfriend would also be there. Then, i'd invite katie, joe/viper and bookerman over and we'd game some more. Theeen, we'd all go out for a pizza or an indian. Preferably an indian. We'd then head off into town into a place called the "standard". It's quite chilled out, and we'd sit there and drink and wait for our food to digest. Moving on, we'd carry on into town and go to a place called "punana". It's sorta rocky and funky at the same time. The place smells of incense, and we'd all dance and have a laugh. We'd then go to another place called the Meze lounge. It's very chilled out there and they play rock music. We'd sit on the sofas and just talk about shit. After that, in the early hours, we'd go get some chips or pizza and walk it back to my place at home. I would then watch a movie with all of these guys. An awesome movie, like Ghostbusters or Aliens. And there you have it.
  19. Who else doesn't want to see the shell?

I can see your point. But, some games just might not work well using the FHC. Sorta how the touchscreen and dualscreens are not neccessary for every genre of games. In this instance, the controller shell is useful for these types of games. But, the last thing we want to see if lazy porting and developers not putting the FHC to good use.
  20. Is it too late??

It's never to late. Who plans to do work over easter but never gets motivated enough to do it? A lot of people, that's who.
  21. Football Season 05/06

Reyes is one of these iffy players. Sometimes he has a great game, and sometimes he has a terrible game. A bit part and parcel. I do agree though, he should be running at defenders a hell of a lot more, he's got the pace.
  22. Football Season 05/06

Aye, experimenting with formations and players is really the only way to get the best out of your team. A 4-5-1 means that your team are very strong on midfield and continue to press forwards, which i think suits Arsenal's style of play.
  23. Football Season 05/06

If anything, Chelsea have shown that as long as you don't concede, then you can still win the premiership. Liverpool have got a pretty tight defence, and they are gradually scoring more and more goals in games now. If they can get a striker who can score 20 in a season, that would be the icing on the cake. Lol, wenger the greatest manager in the premiership? He's a great manager, but no way is the the best in the Premiership. I still believe that that honour still goes to Sir Alex Ferguson. It's true that arsenal are going through a transitional period at the moment, and the youngsters are starting to mature. Van persie is looking great at the moment and so is Hleb, so the future is looking bright. What i meant when i said that Arsene could learn from Benitez is all to do with the tactics. Imo, Arsene's tactics have been all over the place this season whereas Benitez has been quite solid.
  24. Bands you're seeing in 2006

...The flaming lips were playing in the UK?! And i missed it?! You lucky bugger. I bet they were amazing. If i had a list of 10 bands i wanted to see live, they would be in there.
  25. Football Season 05/06

The difference is that Arsenal are fighting for 4th spot. I highlighted it because should Arsenal really be struggling to achieve that spot? They shouldn't even be aiming for that spot in the first place, and should probably be doing better than they have been doing. Last year, Liverpool finished 5th (i think) and got into the champions league to enable them to defend their title. Arsenal have to win the champions league first, or finish 4th. If they finish 5th and lose in the final or against villareal, they will not be in the champions league next season. (have i got that right?) Another difference is that Liverpool have upped their game since Benitez arrived. They are serious contenders for the title next season and they are playing much better football.
