That's a little worrying. -
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

What risks did Skyward Sword take? Motion controls don't count, I'm talking about the game itself. I loved Skyward Sword too, but it was very safe and predictable. The charmless, empty sky was poor and the hub/level select was a huge slap in the face. -

A Wind Waker style game would be amazing, as would a more realistic style like in the tech demo. I don't really mind which art style they go for (I think fans place way too much emphasis on that) and I definitely don't care about the control scheme. I just want them to get the series back on form. Critical to that IMO is the sense of exploration and wonder that's been missing for the last few installments. I'd like to see them take a few risks, stop playing so f-ing safe all the time, shake the formula up and bring the magic back, which has been lost since the last scene of Wind Waker. The art style is just the polish on top of all that. -
The level design will be exactly like in 3D Land. Some will be straight lines, some more exploration-based
-
It's not 8 directional, just as 3D Land wasn't. There will be a few levels to explore, just like in 3D Land.

When they decided 3D wouldn't sell it? (apart from 3D Land)

What were they thinking giving the cicadas such HORRIBLE sounds you can hear a mile away! The fact that they're on what seems like every other tree makes it even worse.

I've been playing for a couple of weeks and the only furniture in my house is a plant, a ? block and a single red bed, all laid out Feng Shui stylee. Trying to hold off on working on the rooms properly until I get decent furniture/wallpaper/carpets though. I was thinking bedroom on 1st floor, 'Nintendo' room in basement. Then living room, kitchen, maybe a bathroom and another room I can't think of on ground floor.

Woohoo, Pilotwings, finally! Better than 64 IMO.

Snail is all year, just much more common until June. This will give you a list of 'last chance' bugs and fish in June, but what it doesn't say is that things like the char re-appear in September http://uk.ign.com/wikis/animal-crossing-new-leaf/June

Fair enough!! By full inventory do you mean full pockets or full 4-page deposit box?
-
Will give it a go, I'm using the beautiful town ordinance but may change that. Is anyone working overtime to get their last bugs/fish of June? I'm missing a snail, a cherry salmon, char and some seaweed. May just not bother...

On the island, after about an hour of circling and scaring away the smaller fish. I don't really bother with beetles anymore as sharks are worth so much more.

Must admit I was expecting a tad more than 175k for this haul but oh well, can't complain!
-
I'd happily let you in but my 3DS still won't connect Always the same problem with game after game, after working once or twice the first time it suddenly stops connecting.

My turnips were 81 bells each today, is this a good price to buy? I spent 10k on them.
-
I may occasionally skip them, but the Cap'n singing his songs on the way to the island.... Amazing

April is better than I was expecting

Am I completely missing the point of the catalog in the T&T store? All it shows are the things I already have?

YOUR most anticipated 3ds and Wii U games for 2013
Ronnie replied to Aneres11's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Whilst I would have preferred a new Galaxy, I thought 3D Land was amazing, so really looking forward to this. I'm really dubious about this game, everything about seems to scream lazy. Hopefully there will be a great standalone Zelda game. Looking forward (kind of) to finding out... -
Not really a gyroid fan either, they seem a bit out of place

I've never played a Mario & Luigi game, but I'm getting this one. Is there any platforming or is that not really what these games are about? I assumed it was similar to Sticker Star, sort of?

I think they'll probably just continue their safety-first no-risk-whatsoever approach and go with Bowser.
