    Snowing

It's actually colder here than in Siberia at the moment. It's been heaving snow all week and hasn't stopped today. It's literally a whiteout outside.

    Gambling

Always got the weekly coupon for the football, mid-week too most weeks. Bayern Munich cost me £280 against Roma! and the bastards were 2-0 up. The most i've won on one coupon was £1800. Correctly predicted 8 score draws. I do like a flutter at the casino when I'm out in town, usually poker or blackjack. I've never walked out having lost money but I was once up £1200 and made a bad move, still came out with £50. The way I look at it, as long as you're not losing anything, you're winning. I'm normally too drunk to care by that point anyway.
  3. I actually sometimes forget this is a Nintendo forum as I'll visit every board except the ones dedicated to the big N, although it was the gamecube that took me to cub-europe over 8 years ago. I've always kinda been on the outskirts of this place, I've seen various 'newbies' rise up the popularity ranks to become people whose posts and thoughts I take the time to read. As everyone has said I've got to know some really great people through this place, some are gone but some are still here and i'm sure some are still to join.
  4. They've just added a second date at the O2 due to overwhelming demand.
  5. As Elena would say. We have to help them.
  6.
  7. My boiler packed in and i've got no heating or hot water for 2 weeks, and it's gonna cost £2000 to get a new one On a positive note, I've lost 5lb this week

    McFly

I saw them last year or the year before and they were pretty good live. Not too keen on the newer stuff but the newest single isn't too bad.
  9. They put on an awesome show when I saw the in August, i'm hoping they'll add more UK dates; I do remember them commenting on coming back up my way. You'll also get the new stuff on this tour as well as all the old classics.
  10. I've not played this in a while because dwarf has aids, and I obviously didn't want it passed on through the head set. I got the vaccination though, so I'm good to go. Some games this weekend possibly?
  11. Best of luck Rezinald.

    Ice Hockey

To be fair Chicago have been dire this season as well, even they got beat by Edmonton too. Pens have got the Panthers tonight and are riding a nice little streak. Did anyone see the Tampa/Philiadelphia game? 8-7 it finished, absolute madness.
  13. Everyone is indeed aware she wasn't actually topless/naked? Before it came out, quite a few people were saying how shocking it was. I was actually expecting it to be more shocking than it was.
  14. I've got one icon on mine and I constantly battle with the inner desire to remove it. Alas i'm too lazy to open Finder to click on more button, so it stays For now.
  15. Really? Couldn't really name any Twilight characters, so that went straight over my head when watching it. Been reading the Battle of Hogwarts again and it's got me really pumped for Part 2. It will make for a very epic cinematic experience if done correctly, and i've no reason to doubt it will be.
  16. I'm Arsenal fan and I disagree with both points, to a degree. Is Bale the best left mid in the game? Hard to argue that he isn't, I mean who in the world has performed better this season? But lets not forget how hopeless he was when he first started for Spurs. Give the lad a season or two before judging what he is and what he isn't. Van der Vaart is absolute pure class, no denying it. He makes every team better. Ajax, Hamburg, Real Madrid, Holland and now Tottenham. He was absolutely shafted at Real Madrid, he played exceptionally for them and he was treated like shit. I'd most definitely take Van der Vaart over Sneijder any day of the week. You don't achieve nearly 90 caps for a national side as good as Holland at only 27 if you're not exceptionally gifted. Sneijder is brilliant from dead balls and possesses an amazing shot but Van der Vaart is the more complete player. He's also a very nice guy, whose had a lot of bad shit happen personally but hasn't let it affect him on the pitch. I fail to see how Fabregas is the better player than Van der Vaart? he doesn't score nearly as often and doesn't have as much assists as he does and is rather injury prone nowadays. They're both exceptional players that I wouldn't even attempt to separate. Fabregas profile has risen dramatically with the way he's led from a young age and Van der vaart seemed to be forgotten about with the way Madrid treated him. I just wish RVP was successful in getting Wenger to sign him, imagine those two playing in the same team. *Dreams*
  17. Currently 13 and a half, not really got a definitive target but I said about 12 and a half when I first started.
  18. That reminds me, did anyone catch the little dig they had Twilight when Ron and Hermione were talking about the three brothers?
  19. I lost my 32nd pound. All this exercise and diet shit is wack!
  20. I didn't expect any different, it follows the book pretty closely and everyone basically knows before they go into see it that it's just 2 and a half hours of setting the scene.
  21. People weren't lying about the adverts at the start! thought the film was never going to start. Is Rupert Grint in the running for the next Hulk? he should be, the guy is looking seriously ripped.
  22. My tickets say it's 2 hours and 50 minutes.
  23. If I hadn't been working early tomorrow, I probably would have
  24. I caved, got tickets for tomorrow night.
