I grew up watching Hollyoaks so i'll occasionally still tune into that but none of the others unless i'm forced too. They're just too many old people in Corrie for me

I saw 30 Seconds to Mars rock Aberdeen and the shire last night. Pretty awesome show and the appart from the first Support band being shit, Enter the Shakira Shakiri were stupidy crazy too. Jared Leto is a fucking good front man. I'm just gutted I was too far back to get on the stage to sing Kings and Queens

Amen bruv. Instead you could go to Uni, rack up thousands of pounds worth of debt, gain a completely average degree that everyone else already has and still end up stacking shelfs because you can't get any job that pertains to the degree you wasted 4 years getting. But hey, At least you can still get minced everynight and not be called an alcoholic, because you were simply being a student.

I'll believe when I see something a little more concrete, almost everyone from the DC world has apparently had a Smallville Replacement in the works at one time.
-
Yep, that's because it's gone from being a Dawsons Creek wannabe to what the show should have been from an early stage. I can understand spending a season with CK learnng about his powers and all that shiz but not 7+ seasons.

I love Smallville because it's superheroes on prime TV, nuff said. Is the acting amazing? of course it's not but then there's definitely worse on TV. If it wasn't for Smallville and the success it's had, I doub't we'd have seen quite so many Superhero films like we have recently and shows like No Ordinary Family and The Cape.

Well, with the an email just received from Amazon that NHL 11 is on it's way, I can retire NHL 10 to the shelve. After 296 online wins, 173 losses and 36 Overtime losses; it's been an enjoyable ride.

I've had a similar story from an alcoholic guy who wanted a fiver to buy his last ever bottle of Vodka before he gave it up. I just said "are you moving on to Whisky next?"

I finally got round to watching the pilot and I actually liked it but dear god someone please shut that fucking daughter up, she's horrendous.

I'm far too lazy to read through this thread about all the bitches and whines about Snow but give it a rest already. It's fucking Snow, not aids. It barely happens twice a year and when it does the whole country starts panicking like a 16 year old girl on prom night. Everyone keeps slagging off the councils, what more can they do? If it continues to keep snowing, no amount of gritting will suddenly make it disappear. Just seen some twat on the TV complaining that they manage fine in Sweden, why can't we here. Do people realise how much countries like Sweden spend on defence against the snowy conditions, a hell of a lot more than we do. So we could always start spending more so people can drive 15 MPH faster for the 2 weeks of the year it snows and just cut a heap of other public services that actually matter. If you're cold put on another jumper, don't whine about it. /Rant Over. Not aimed at anyone here, just our nation as a whole -
I don't doubt that the voting is corrupt as fuck but if they always went with the safe option, there would never be a World Cup outside of Europe. That's not to say I agree with their decisions, but I thought South Korea/Japan and South Africa did a very good job and I'd hate to see countries like that loose the chance to ever host one again.

The Sydney Olympics were quite possibly the best ever staged of the modern Olympiad so there's no doubt they would have put on a great show. The major problem against them is obviously the timezone and the massive reduction in the European TV figures that would obviously happen. I'm not too dissapointed in Russia getting it to be honest. They've never staged one before and Russian football is probably at the best it's ever been. They're hosting the 2014 Winter Olympics, so it will be interesting to see how they fair with those. I think Fifa saw England as a step backwards of sort. Everything is ready to go and not much needs changing. The staging of a such a massive event like the World Cup tends to unify the people of a country, which can only be a good thing for a pretty unstable country like Russia.

I've also said this. Scotland has 3 of the biggest capacity stadiums in the UK, not counting Murrayfield and obviously Wales has the Millennium.
-
I'm gutted England didn't get it. It would have been the closest we'd have got to a World Cup.

So it's not worth a purchase? even for a pretty hardcore Star Wars fan. The trailer looks decent enough but then we all know how they can lie.

He also appears in a few early episodes of Due South. Seriously gutted about this, has always been one of my favourite actors.

Season 7, Episode 5 - Action. The residents of Smallville are thrilled when “Warrior Angel,” a movie based on a comic book, begins shooting in town. However, after the lead actress, Rachel Davenport (guest star Christina Milian) takes off in stunt car with cut brakes, Clark (Tom Welling) must step in to stop the runaway car. Unfortunately, an obsessed fan witnesses this heroic event and decides Clark is a real life superhero, whose girlfriend Lana (Kristin Kreuk) must be eliminated so Clark can fulfill his destiny. Meanwhile, Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) discovers Lionel (John Glover) at the cabin.
