  1. Got my mortgage appointment today to finalise things, sort our surveys etc.

Estate Agent informed me that the sellers are willing to break the chain since they haven't found a place yet but are willing to move in with parents during the interim.

Just two weeks ago I wasn't intending to move out soon, now I am well on my way. How fast things change

  2. A decent Direct overall. Not enough first party announcements, but nowadays Nintendo has to share the spotlight with third parties and that's great. It may mean more frequent Directs. I doubt this is the last one this year

Pokémon stuff is huge. New Pokémon outside of a new generation is unprecedented.

Mario Party The Top 100 looks a lot of fun, but for god's sake Nintendo that should be on the bloody Switch

Will post comments about everything else but was busy.

Decent Direct, not amazing but decent enough

@Serebii you seem to be forgetting what direct's have actually been like historically, I'd obviously prefer to be optimistic but it's better to temper expectations.

Directs don't exist to recap. They bring new information for games and each one has come with at least one new reveal.

Where did you see that? I can't find it...

Either way, there's no need to show off anything mobile related during the Direct itself... That's what the Apple Keynote the day before is for ;)

As for other stuff we'll almost certainly see? Xenoblade 2 release date and an unveiling/release date announcement for the 25th Anniversary Kirby Game as well are surefire bets.

  5. Found out the house got underpinned in 1993. They're going to get back to me with the reason but it being 25 years ago and no issues since means it's probably not that much of an issue. Full structural survey it is. Should be fine and it's a nice house so I likely won't back out unless the survey says it's going to tip over.

Just means insurance may be a bit of a pain. Hopefully this won't mean my mortgage lender will back out.

I'm awfully indecisive so hopefully when the day comes suddenly I find some decision making skills!
May be a while off yet though as there's no way I can afford to buy in London where I live right now!

I did clearly fall for the oldest trick in an estate agent's book though :p

To be honest we bought the 3rd house we viewed. :p

But like Serebii, I had spent ages looking online for houses, probably more than a year heh. You kind of know when it feels right.

Yeah. Really, needing to actually go to multiple viewings isn't that necessary thanks to RightMove and sites like that. You get to see the general look of a house, inside and out, and viewings are just to confirm if that is truly the case or not.

If it doesn't fit, then chances are the house isn't for you @Mr-Paul. You'll find one you love :)

Not hanging around haha! I can't imagine being decisive enough to put an offer on my first day of viewings!

Hope it goes well Mr Serebii!

We had been looking online for a while and were so lucky to find a few that fit our requirements. The first sucked. The second though matched our hopes. It's more that there was another couple interested so I had to snake them.

Did you tell them you own the world's biggest Pokémon fansite?  That'll swing it!

But seriously, fingers crossed for you!

Nope. The sellers had all Nintendo consoles in one of their rooms though. Maybe I should have haha

However, they accepted anyway :D Let's hope everything goes well

Honestly, out of the whole level that is the part I found the hardest.

What I done was to leave Toad next to the pipe on the left. I sent him back through there and kept him there until I had wiped everyone out in that area.

I sent Rabbid Mario around to the right and used his scream to draw enemies in. I them used his skid attack and then used a shotgun blast or hammer attack on them all.

Rabbid Luigi was used to just inflict Vamp in as many enemies as possible, just to keep everyone alive.

Mario I kept a bit further back and made sure he had his oversight ability ready for when the enemies first spawn.

Once you get past that part make sure you get one or two characters up high in the next large area. A bunch of enemies will spawn up there and you can get the drop on them if one or two of your team are already up there.

Thanks. Shall give it a go tomorrow :)
