I read through the EULA, crazy how much shit they hide in there. And yeah, feels more FTP than ever. Still love it though. Need a new online game.

Since this seems to be a bit quiet, how about we plan a couple games of Among Us instead? Basically the same concept, but spread over minutes not weeks.

Was going to make a post on this. Desperate to play it, but no one to play with. Would anyone ever be up for an N-E game?

So I have had to sit up and take notice of this game following its appearance on a game of the decade list. Though I haven't played many I do like a card battler - I made it all the way through Baiten Kaitos despite the irritating JPRG presentation. Could someone tell me what the multiplayer options are like with this? Or is this only single player?

I'm happy United have stayed away from Messi talk. Would it be nice to see him wear the shirt? Of course, which football fan wouldn't. But at those wages, for the minimum 3 years he would demand, and then the fact that you would have to build the team around him? I can't see that being a positive to a team who are still early in a building process.

So this will be sold physically like normal right? Just for a limited time?

Will it be spoiler free? Ofcourse. Off the bat I'll say this is my least favourite Nolan movie. It's not a bad film - it's packed full of great elements that you'd expect of the Director - thrilling set pieces, superb performances, a banging soundtrack and great visuals. But much like The Dark Knight Returns, it's feels like he's packed too much in, with a story that moves way too fast, is insufficiently explained and poorly communicated to the audience. None of us who saw it perfectly understood the set up going into the final scene - not helped that the audio mixing on the dialogue is very poor at times just like TDKR - and so a lot of the tension was lost. The point often levelled against Nolan is a lack of emotional engagement in his characters. But where as he proved that he has got it in his locker in Interstellar, this may go down as the worst example of those emotional elements being missing. In many ways this film doesn't care, and the more I think about it the less this feels like some kind of shot at glory, and more just another action film. Maybe he needs to try a different kind of film next time out.

Cut the ambiguity Magnus, give it to me straight. What do I not know?

I know it's old news by now but my word, Better Call Saul is incredible. Still think I prefer BB, but all credit to the entire team behind that show. Just started final series, gutted it has to end.

Suggestion: make it 90s/00s themed, full nostalgia mafia.

I think Messi genuinely wants to leave - career is coming to an end and he probably wants a couple more trophies before the boots are hung up. That ain't going to happen at Barca for a couple years, so PSG or City. Thing that annoys me is that I know Woodward is trying to get in on this, wasting what little times he spends getting shit done on an impossible transfer that ain't what we need anyway.

I'm really not a fan of anything DC post Nolan, with the exception of Joker, and even that was incredibly overrated imo. I just don't think they've gotten the tone right, and everything they make ends up feeling confused and designed by committee. So not particularly bothered about this new Batman neither. Seeing Tenet tomorrow night though, hyped for that.

Got through Superliminal in 2/3 sessions. Portal inspired Puzzle game with the gimmick being changing perspectives. 3/5 worth a tenner. Started on Sunless Sea. Brutal roguelike, got to really pay attention. Love the world, love the atmosphere, but got to get better at it before I can really enjoy the systems.

You now I quite like the slower pace of the forum. Everything seems more considered, less reactionary. Fuck it more mature, though that possibly reflects us growing older more than anything else. Maybe we just need to push ourselves to put more new topics up, possibly come up with a system. Also let's get a mafia game going - just one for old times sake.
