  1. Top 25 Worst Comic Book Video Games

Good thread. I think for the amount of comic character games out there on the market, I tend to lose interest in that whole genre of games. It seems like some companies just throw a game together quickly to market a character, movie or other product associated with it, therefore the game isn't as good as it could be.
  2. Best Arcade Games!

^That sounds good about the Britain gaming scene. I remember TMNT also, I loved the 4 player simultaneous game, which I think eventually came out for NES, but didn't have the same feel of graphics and music as playing the real arcade version on a large display. Oh, and the arcade game Willow, that was a game created after the fantasy 80's movie which featured Val Kilmer and Warwick Davis, written by George Lucas. It wasn't a very popular movie, or blockbuster, but some people remember it. I liked the game as a side scrolling adventure with good weapons and characters.
  3. Sega Saturn

I played the Saturn only once at a friend's house in the late 90's, I think that was about a decade after it was released. I had thought about owning one, but at the time I just couldn't afford it due to other upcoming expenses I had at that time in my life like college. The game I played was Marvel vs. Capcom 2, which remains one of my favorite games today. I may go buy a used Saturn and see what good games I can get for it which are unavailable elsewhere. Thank you all for the knowledge given about the Saturn here, it inspired me to go search for some games!
  4. Your Nintendo highlights

Turning to a vegetable was a definite part of early NES days, now that I think back I could have used a better balance as a child between real life and just sitting there in that imaginary digital world, which is kinda the same story for many people today as technology increases, both young and old. It's good to have fun with technology, but also know when time comes to move on to something else and realize what is truly important in life. That gold Zelda cartridge brings back memories! I used to stare at and hold that like some kind of treasure as a kid, probably the first gold item I ever owned.
  5. Best Arcade Games!

Yeah, me too with the scrolling games. I'm from that late 80's era when those were abundant here in the US. You can already see one of my favorite arcade games in my signature below, and another in my avi. Here are a few of my other favs: Vigilante: a scrolling New York City beat 'em up street fighter game in the tradition of Double Dragon, who remembers that one? Vendetta: another street fighting scoller, but 4 player simultaneous and lots of great weapons/moves/enemies Final Fight: a great street fighting classic, almost as classic as Double Dragon to me. Willow: what's you're opinion on that one, ever played it? It came out in the late 80's here. Terminator 2: I liked the level of detail in this one as an arcade game where you shot targets with a hand held gun, I liked the movie alot too. Street Fighter 2: such a classic, it seemed like everything changed for fighting arcade games after the success of that one. Here in the US, they had arcade games mostly in the pizzerias and malls, but not so much nowadays. I wondered what the European arcade scene is like
  6. Your Nintendo highlights

I really like both those games, those had to be my highlights for my days on the SNES. The increase of story, graphics and fun from their original NES versions was a great thing. Something about Mario 3 for NES I can't get over, maybe a sentimental reason from the time of which I bought it here in the US, I was about 9 years old without many cares in the world other than going to school. Mario 3 & Mario World is a tie for me. Another would have to be Ninja Gaiden or Rad Racer, me and my best friend played that game for hours on end as kids.
