  1. Great Arcade memories

I mainly play on Virtua Striker 4 and Point Blank these days. I have fond memories of Puzzle Bobble, which I completed. Metal Slug 2 was rather good aswell but I could never stay alive for very long .
  2. Your earliest gaming memory..

Kirby's Dream Land on the Game Boy.
  3. Who do/have you must regularly use(d) in SSBM?

Probably . I've noticed that he doesn't feature on many lists of peoples favourite characters, including this one. I find his aerial attacks to be quite useful and having played with all the various characters, he is the one I seem to be most effective with.
  4. Who do/have you must regularly use(d) in SSBM?

Kirby is my character of choice. I haven't played SSBM for quite some time though.
  5. I've added myself, had to put myself in Douglas though as that was the only part of the Island it recognised.
  6. original game boy!?

The GameBoy was my first console, and Kirby's Dreamland was the first game I played.
  7. SSBM - Who do you go?

I use Kirby. Good in the air.
  8. What magazines do you read?

Private Eye and, erm, that's it!
  9. Pokemon

I got Mew on my Pokemon Yellow Cart, when Nintendo came down to the Trafford Centre. I enjoyed the first generation of games, I preferred Yellow. But I couldn't really get into the sequels at all.
  10. Your GameCube collections

In no particular order: Virtua Striker 3 Wave Race (JAP) Resident Evil 2 Rocky Resident Evil Zero FIFA Street Super Smash Bros. Melee Mario Kart: Double Dash!! Luigi's Mansion Star Wars: Rogue Leader Redcard The Simpsons: Hit and Run
  11. This Month's NOM.

That the "ultimate" Pokemon gift then? .
  12. what consoles do you own ?

Retro GameBoy Recent GameCube GameBoy Advance
  13. Good, cheap, third party controllers

I know that 3rd party ones generally aren't a patch on official ones, but I also know that I'm tight with money . Shall probably shop around and take a look on E-Bay. Some Wavebird's are around the £10.00 mark at the moment, whether they will finish at that I don't know.
  14. The title might be a contradiction in terms, but I'm looking for a new controller. My official Nintendo one appears to be on its way out, the grey analogue stick seems to have a life of its own and much unplugging of the controller and pulling at the grey analogue end and pushing it back in until it clicks doesn't appear to remedy the problem. To add to this a controller which came free with my 'Cube doesn't appear to be working either. With the X button not responding long enough for me to get a decent shot on goal in Virtua Striker. The aforementioned controller is a "GC Force Pad" (it has the word "Venom" written in a black border at the top of it). So, to my question, could anyone reccomend a cheap third party control pad that will do the job required of it?. It doesn't have to be anything special, just one which works and will do what is required of it.
  15. Dreamcast retro-ing

Nice to see Powerstone getting a mention. I really enjoyed the original, I didn't get the second one though as I read there wasn't a huge amount of difference between the two. I also enjoyed Virtua Striker, although I think I might be alone in that respect .
