Yusuke Hashimoto retweeted the Direct announcement, so I'd take it as Star Fox Zero is sure to appear.

Some stuff I didn't know, like you cal lose parts of your Skell in battle, but it still functions, you only lose abilities linked to that part. Interesting.

When they take things like this out it does make it less enjoyable, yes, and thus "ruins" it to some extent. However, as I say, if they keep this exact costume for the older female characters, I will accept it was just an age issue.

Developer confirms IARC system has now been implemented on eShop.
Now, a developer can release games on many different territories more easily. The system has been previously implemented on Google Play and FireFox Marketplace, but eShop is the first dedicated gaming channel to adopt this new system.
Note that the traditional age markings are not going away, IARC just makes it easier for digital publishers to sign up for them.

I'd say Nintendo account is kind of "extended" NNID, where aside from NNID username and password, you can now use Facebook account, Google+ etc to use it.
One account to rule them all, so to speak. Should help with casual users, who would prefer logging in to their smartphone apps with Facebook. At least I think that's the catch.

So...
Purchase games and play games in order to earn gamerscrore, and actually use it to buy add-ons and stuff?
Sounds interesting.

Someone on Gaf suggested Shovel Knight should be a secret character, with him using the shovel as a tennis racket. This makes too much sense. That was me, BTW. :awesome:

Nah, not interested in PC games.

At that price, I can't resist Resident Evil: Revelations.

Shows some english voice acting, too. -
Natsume said some time back that Nintendo does not want to release any more SNES games on VC. It seems like it's not true, though, as we just got a SNES game last week.
Maybe they still think so, who knows.

There's a some kind of campaign going on at Shin Megami Tensei IV's Official page
Looks like they are teasing a new game. Dengeki Nintendo also retweeted this, so there'a a change it's Nintendo-related, probably 3DS as SMT IV is for the console.

Another piece of news: Amiibo support is confirmed.
Known in Japan as Mario & Luigi RPG: Paper Mario Mix, the game will make use of Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Toad, and Bowser - as well as variants Dr. Mario, 8-bit Mario, and Yarn Yoshi - to provide special cards to aid players in battle. -
Yusuke Hashimoto on Star Fox Zero.
He discusses achieving 60 fps on both screens and adding "Platinum feel" to the game.

According to Nintendo, the game releases December in Japan. Hopefully the EU release isn't too far out.

So, now we can start guessing, how closely Mighty No. 9 and Megaman Legacy collection physical release. Would be comical if it was the same day.

I just finished this game the other day. I have not been playing strategy games much, outside of RTS-style, like Command & Conquer. I have played a few Fire Emblem games, but have not finished any of them.
And I loved this one. The comic book style worked well, and presented in an interesting way, at least for the cutscenes. Gameplay itself seemed to work fine, once I got the hang of using the overwatch attacks and luring enemies at them. I also liked the music, and voice acting was comical, but fit the game well.
The only thing I didn't like were the few difficulty spikes the game had here and there on few missions. Luckily, the netx mission was usually way easier, so the difficulty only rose for one mission at a time. I especially remember Missioin 12-1 being devastating, as shield prowlers were constantly spawning to the field, and attacking me from the roof.
Still, the game was great, and I loved playing it. Too bad the game sold poorly, I would have liked to play a sequel. Especially after that ending.

I tried linking my UK Club Nintendo to my Finland-marked NNID-account. Seems to work, though there's nothing to do with 750 points anymore.

Mine was shipped yesterday. On the other hand, EU-shipping takes longer, so maybe they just send those first.
