  1. Wii U eShop Thread

Payment via PayPal didn't complete, so it looks like I didn't get my code. Oh well...
  2. Wii U and 3DS Gaming Bargains

Got me Lego City for 3DS. Let's see how it goes. Was able to do it, just by putting in some random address for myself. Here's hoping this is legit.
  3. Wii U General Discussion

Experienced devs counter anonymous Wii U criticism Not that big time names, but developers nevertheless. Another view to the debate, at least. EDIT: Direct Tweets from Chris Arnold Big JPG, so I'll keep it behind the link. Calls the article a "clickbait".
  4. Project CARS

First Wii U screenshot has been leaked: It's an offscreen-shot, so it's very low quality. Also, there's really nothing special to show, other then it is running on Wii U. This game has been in development for quite a while, hasn't it?
  5. Wii U General Discussion

I have seen three instances where a Nintendo game has won a Game of the Year -title 2013, and out of two of them, the comments were full of ridiculous comments on how the wrong game won. Dunno about GT, but it may as well be The Last of Us, as that one has already broken the records with most awards won. A little more wont break it. Sadly, it doesn't interest me one least bit. Also, has Fire Emblem: Awakening won any awards yet? I haven't played, but everyone who has played it says it's amazing.
  6. Wii U General Discussion

Looks like a golem compared to Wii U if you asked me. I knew people would pick me up for not taking everything for granted said on the Internet, but that's the way I feel. If you have something heavy to say, that will most likely be critical, you should say it with your own name. Big changes never happen, when you shout things randomly behind your firewall. If I ever critisize anything (I rarely do) I always do it with my real name, I'm no pussy. I'm alreasy sorry for throwing more wood into the fire, but let me just say this: if this article was saying the opposite, people wouldn't be bringing it up as the new Bible. I remember Frozenbyte saying something how working with Nintendo and Wii U was easy and encouraging back in the day, but can't be for certain, for I'm just a human being. Something "positive" said by a certain developer with a name, and an actual game released? Bah, who cares!
  7. Wii U General Discussion

I just find it hilarious what kind of shitstorm can an anonymous comment from someone break loose, but I think anything that says something negative avout Nintendo is automatically a real thing. I mean, how can we know if this is just someone lauching their asses off right now. Anonymity always makes me suspicious. I have said it before, and I will say it again, why would someone in this modern world remain anonymous and possibly lose credibility. Just doesn't feel... Right.
  8. Wii U General Discussion

This, a hundred times. Proven fact, that will happen anyway.
  9. Yoshi's NEW Island

You honor your values, I honor mine.
  10. Yoshi's NEW Island

Great. I have plenty of time to play through Yoshi's Island DS before this one then.
  11. Wii U General Discussion

Didn't Retro do their own franchises before Nintendo swooped in and invested into them? As far as I know, those projects were in chaotic development hell, and nothing good ever came out of them. This time, though, it could be different, as Nintendo would be holding their hand. Who knows.
  12. Wii U General Discussion

For me, Metroid prime is done and finished, no reason to dig it out from it's grave. A new kind of Metroid, that is entirely different thing. Personally, I would like Retro to do 3D Donkey Kong, in vein of Donkey Kong 64, thus completing their second Trilogy. They, they should go for their next project, whatever it is.
  13. Wii U General Discussion

Retro Studios hiring for new people. Didn't check Nintendo's Job Board myself, but this is definitely not for Donkey Kong, as that game is just around the corner. The next game might just be under development already. Intelligent Systems moved into it's own building. So far, they have been developing in the same building as Nintendo RnD. Maybe they are expanding, too. With these, and Monolith Soft also hiring for new people, nad also Next Level Games officially becoming second party -developer, Nintendo seems to be expanding heavily. But is it a bit late?
  14. Xenoblade Chronicles X (4th Dec)

Monolith Soft hiring for new people. - currently recruiting planners and motion designers for their main studio in Tokyo - Planner position marked as “urgent” and is split into three parts: Game Planner, Town Planner, and Battle Algorithm Planner - all three planner positions require experience in their respective fields - for Game Planner, Monolith Soft welcomes any developers with the additional experience of having made a game that requires networking - Town Planners should have the ability to write scripts and programming knowledge - Battle Algorithm Planners requires experience in writing enemy AI, putting together scripts - Motion Designers are also listed as urgent - Monolith Soft is looking for someone who can work on character motions during event and battle scenes Wonder if it's for the development of X, especially that networking part. X looked like it will have networkplay os some kind.
  15. Xbox 360 Console Discussion

Bought myself a new Xbox 360 to replace my original model last night. Found a bargain (99€) but it doesn't have a hard drive. Anyone can recommend a cheap hard drive anywhere? I don't need a large one, as I have coped with 20GB so far with my original model. My console is one of the most recent remodels.
  16. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

Good call. Especially as Lightning Returns is not getting any kind of special edition like it's predecessors, it doesn't really matter even. Two other games coming out at the same time, I have to push at least one of the back.
  17. Wii U General Discussion

I have both, but I have left the separate one unwrapped, so maybe it will have some more value later. Since I haven't opened it, I can't be certain, but they seem to be exactly the same, the cover is same, and they are the same in thickness. Both also have gold pages. The only difference seems to be, that the separate book comes with a cloth map of the Wind Waker's world. That's not there in the Box. The quide is specifically made for Wind Waker HD, by the way.
  18. Wii U eShop Thread

So much First World problems in this thread.
  19. Wii U VC

According to press release from Nintendo Life, SMB3 is the U.S. Version, so it will run at full speed.
  20. Wii U eShop Thread

Actually, latest Media Crate numbers show Wii U gaining momentum in Japan, where it sold over 100k last week, second only to 3DS. Though it probably won't hold that high after this, here's hoping Nintendo has got the ball rolling at least in Japan.
  21. Wii U VC

Just wondering if that Dracula X will be the Turbo Graphx version or SNES version. The TG16 version I already have from Wii VC, but would gladly buy the SNES game, too (the one released as Vampire's Kiss in Europe).
  22. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

In that room, run under the platform when it's up. There's a door on the other side of it leading the the room next to it. Don't remember exactly did you have to do anything before, but that's how it goes.
  23. Mario Kart 8

GameXplain Trailer Analysis 2 Such detail.
  24. The Super Mario 3D World thread

Took me more than 50 lives to finish the Champion Road...as Luigi. To think of any other characters... *shivers*
