  1. I turned up at the pub quite late in the day, walked straight through into the gents loo (mistakenly!) and into The Bard, who was very surprised to see me there! Then saw flinkly who was even more shocked... but completely awesome and introduced me to people. I had a lot of fun, drank cider and had some good chats. I also touched/grabbed/caressed several arms and pecs, which was brilliant! Was really lovely to have people asking me to come back. You're a good bunch, glad I came along :)

  2. Squeeee!! THE SIIIIIGN!!! I'm jelly. Wish I was there. Also, no two ways about it, you look hot. VEGAS BABY!! I approve. /Obligatory creepy wink smile.

I lolled at the cat! And thank you. I love your blog. You know why!

  3. Ah, yeah I've got that a fair bit. It's a bit weird because I can't really see the difference. People have told me I looked a bit waifish before. Been trying to put a bit more bulk on so glad it shows.

Might go find some old pictures to compare.

On an side note, after football last week my friend was like 'The gym has really worked for you.' I never know how to react to those kinds of comments, it's kind of embarrassed (yes, I have muscles and a six pack, I feel like I'm being eyeing me up. /Hulk Smash!!) I was just like 'I hope so, been going 4 times a week for the past 18 months or so. It's just a weird position to be in. Contrary to popular assumption, I don't go to the gym to look good, I go because I don't want to wake up one day and realise I can't do something (like had I not decided to take parkour up for another ten year, in ten years time I'd still want that to be an option). So when I get those kinds of comments I'm like 'Oh yeah, that happens.' /Mind speeewww!

I should really stop doing these long drawn out posts. My mind does not want to shut up.

Kind of like when people say ''I want your body'' on FB! Haha

I'm going to be a massive picture whore and show off pics from my recent holiday to Vegas!

  4. Wow, a birthday thread.....THANK YOU! As I haven't been around recently, this is a most pleasant surprise. :D

    I am now reallllly old.

I had a birthday house party on Saturday night, it was awesome. To give you an idea, this is the state I was in by the end:

Oh, an update: I've been offered a proper job on good money within Investment Accounting. I'll be moving around every 6 months for a couple of years, kind of like a grad scheme that they've made up to keep me because 2 of the senior managers seem to love me. I'm not going to argue! :P It's going to be good experience that I can take into Consulting if I don't want to be in Banking, etc etc. I hope it actually happens, I haven't signed a contract yet. I also have a date tomorrow. A first date. Scary shit.

  5. Awesome day, extremely fun.

@Jay, I was telling you how in India they calculate the weather with their hands, instead of computers. Or something.

  6. Oh god, last night's dream was strange. Football had become a one on one sport that was played in/through a sea of gateaux. I was ''England'' and had to play against Hitler. But I was upside down in the cake and couldn't get out/couldn't breathe, so he was winning. Felt horrible.

  7. Fuck, this is scarily soon.

I don't really know what time I'm getting there, it depends what time I get up and how long I wander around Hyde Park psyching myself up :p

Oh, I feel I should say this for anyone expecting Leia to turn up... I'm not a ''thin'' person.

Bard, I can give you ReZ's phone number if you like? I think he would enjoy the phone sex. Muchly.

  8. Last night was awesome. A few friends and I went to a night called Secret Sessions, basically a gathering of local acoustic singer-songwriters, where our friend was playing. He's astonishingly talented, I love him a little. I wish he would sing to me. Ha. Anyway, much later on when most people had gone, him and his friend (who is a professional songwriter/undeniable hotty) were just playing for us, we were singing songs and they were scatting about us, into the wee hours. It was so fun. AND I was sober (I'm not drinking at the moment. Well, I will be next Saturday for obvious reasons).

  9. ''Wow'' man is single (some amazing detective work carried out). Now I don't really know what to do. People I like usually seem to be attached or...other things. ReZ's advice is ''Seduce him''. So, yeah.

I shan't think about it now, I'm flying to Coooopenhaaaaagen in a few hours, fuck yeah.

  10. Laura Robson, a British girl of just 16, took Jankovic to a tie break in the second. It was wonderful.

I do love Wimbledon. I would have gone this year if every social event hadn't fallen on one weekend, bah.

  11. First day in my new role/job. Myself and two other women started today, going into a team of about 20 men and 1 woman who's our manager. Us 3 n00bs have a room of our own, still right next to the team, but feels a tad cut off and claustrophobic. Thank god for the massive windows. The two women are also awful. One talks constantly about inane and uninteresting things, the other is just generally annoying. I found myself gritting my teeth. This was Day 1 of potentially 5 months. I could actually hear the Geordie Big Brother man in my head as though this small room was some kind of social experiment, designed to test my breaking point.

Slight silver lining is that the work should be ok/more interesting and once we have lots of work to do, they'll hopefully stop talking to me.

Also had a moment when meeting one of the guys in the team, I was thinking ''wow'' and I hope he was. He probably wasn't. But it felt like a moment.
