Yeeees, I loved the first, and this is looking quite lovely. I hope that it feels more fleshed out, as the first seemed a bit empty at times, particularly with the overworld. I have faith in The Suda, though.

Oh, I have. I played it on GBA. I love it. I also have the GBC version, but that one was just loosely based on the original. Both are great games. More difficult than one might think at first glance.

I liked Rayman 2 on the N64 better than both Super Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie. Rayman 3 was very disappointing. I wish we'd get another good 3D Rayman game, and not some Rabbid minigames. The next Rabbids game looks fun though, but not exactly what I want.

Er, yep the Japanese is fine, and native as far as I can tell. Vowel devoicing isn't present in all dialects, and even in dialects that do have it, it doesn't necessarily apply in 100% of relevant environments. If you really think nobody says "desu," try watching Rozen Maiden, or generally listening to anyone with a Kansai dialect.

 

Edit: Does anyone even says "desu" in the advert? Didn't notice it, but I may have missed an instance.

Very emotional last episode. I think it ended perfectly.

 

My recollections of the first few seasons are very vague, since it's been years I've seen them, so my judgement can be inaccurate. But this has been the best 24 season thus far.
