  1. Do you do anything... weird?

Basically... Do you do anything weird that you think nobody/very few other people do? What's kinda interesting about this is that you find out that these little things that bother you and you're always like "Oh golly I'm so weird nobody would do THIS TOO!" You find out that... you're not alone. Everybody does these little weird things... and a lot of them are common. I also made a video response to my first video there a few days later (earlier this morning) when I realized I forgot something. I point to my guest star from the first video at the end of this one. So yea... what do YOU do that's weird?
  2. Do you do anything... weird?

@ eye stuff I can also shake em really fast... To do what I did in that video... I have a lazy eye.. but I can like... choose which eye I want to be my dominate eye. Soo what I do is just kinda focus with one eye and let the other drift away lol then I switch eyes. EDIT: Thanks to everyone for their compliments on my videos

Haha wow... I can't believe I entirely forgot about the belly button. It was one of those things that... right away I wanted to put in... but then I was like "ehh I'll wait till later..." type things... Also... his foot... I agree entirely... and I'm going to lessen the gaps between em... but... just look at how crazy this guy's foot is! Thanks for the crit.

I'm supposed to be making a realistic looking character for a college course. I'm using Maya 2008 My reference for it. I'd really like some crits, whatever you guys see let me know and I'll do what I can to fix it. If you need more angles just ask and I'll throw whatever you need/want up.

Haha yea, I thought it'd be fine at the time I made it... I'm gunna redo the buttons though... Well, my project there... it's going to end up being a small thing to honor the NES. In Halo you'll start out in this museum looking room... in the museum there'll be some hallways that lead to gigantic cartridges.... when you jump through the label of the cartridge it'll take you into a 3D version of a 2D world from that game. My friend is working on Mario right now... I'm gunna be working on Excite Bike soon

Delete your preferences file Here's something for a silly quick project I'm working on... That's running in Halo Custom Edition in that picture by the way. Also... for that project... (fixed the Dpad in this one) I'm also going to be using my NES cartridges that I showed earlier... I'm probably going to use my older carts.. just clean em up a bit.... or just remodel it and make them pretty

I'd say that stuff looks like it could be more high poly... (sharp edges on the corners of walls... and the couch looks weird...) but overall very impressive... and even more so for only 9 hours of work What kinda irks me though is that... since you don't have an environment outside the windows look funny. Atleast throw an image plane behind those windows... something that has like a backyard or something in it.
  8. Blu-Ray VS (legal) online downloads

http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/50098 Nintendo is obviously doing well with the Virtual Console. There is demand for digital distribution. I don't see it taking over TOMORROW... but then again some people still watch movies on VHS. I don't see it taking over in the gaming world(just because of the price ticket on games)... but in the film industry I can easily see it winning.
  9. Blu-Ray VS (legal) online downloads

I don't ever sell or trade in my games. I usually keep a hold of them forever, and usually if someone wants to chill with me, they come over to my place. There is no negative side for me to buying GW.
  10. 3D Modelling Thread

It is crazy serious... After only using Maya for 3 months I was able to make this! Yea, I didn't realize how small the render was until just a few minutes ago... and I don't feel like re rendering it now haha. Also, all I did on that was shade/light it. No modeling was done by me.
  11. Wii Pay & Play

At any rate, it's change. It's change that we don't know much about yet and it's something that is so vague that we don't know whether or not to embrace it or hate it. I'm just waiting for some more details...
  12. Blu-Ray VS (legal) online downloads

Are you kidding me? Apple's itunes has been blamed for years for "bringing death to CD sales" just a quick google gave me this http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/10/19/vrs_value_gap_report/ You could go to the store and buy a Wii Points card, or you could just buy the points online. One comes with fancy packaging that... you really don't care about, while the other is fast and does what you need right then. Once you use the points it's obsolete, similar to once I rip my movies, the DVDs are obsolete to me. People buy games on the Virtual Console, and the Xbox Live Marketplace all the time, Microsoft sells a "Game" that has a bunch of the marketplace games on it, but it doesn't sell well because everyone who wants those games, already has them from downloading them on their Xbox. I guess to me, it's just inevitable in my eyes. My father asked me to put an Xbox in his room so that he could watch movies and stuff from it. My dad hasn't played video games since Donkey Kong/Super Mario Bros and he wanted this game system in his room as an Apple TV type thing. Think about services like Pay Per View and Netflix's online video service. The industry has been trying to move forward to a cheaper way to promote their stuff. This is definitely it.
  13. Blu-Ray VS (legal) online downloads

Youtube is a perfect example of how much people care about quality. The videos on youtube are mediocre quality at best, but since it's super convenient people choose to watch stuff on there all the time. Also, every move that I've purchased a hard copy of over the last three years, I've ripped and stored on my hard drive. At first I did it because my little brother would always leave the movies out of the cases and they'd get damaged, that can't happen with a digital copy. I then modded a whole bunch of Xboxes, and put them in a few rooms in the house, built a server and let the Xboxes access that server's HDD. The time it took to set that up is well worth the effort in my opinion. Whenever a friend comes over and says "Hey, wanna watch a movie?" it's a lot easier to just turn on my Xbox and have them all right there than have to scour the house for the disk for Fight Club, only to have it glitch out halfway through from the scratches on it.
  14. Random weird accomplishment

I'd say it's an accomplishment anyhow. A year ago today I stopped eating meat. It's been an interesting year, that's for sure. I've learned so much about the random crap that goes into food, and I've been trying to eat better and whatnot. I've been trying to give up caffeine as well, that's a recent thing though. I've only gone about two weeks without caffeine now, but considering the amount I used to consume... it's an accomplishment haha.

I've heard of it, but that's about the extent of my knowledge in it. Full Sail is a ridiculous school. It's highly accelerated so like courses end up lasting only a month. That means... a lot of work needs to go in outside of school. But... that also means that I get done with school in a total of 23 months :P I don't know why I even really posted the name of the school, I'm an American, so it's silly to expect you to know it. The school itself is crazy awesome though. We don't have duel monitors, but we do have all that other jazz you were going on about. Also, The Daily Buzz actually uses my school to broadcast their news stuff... kinda weird... but... ehh lol
  16. 3D Modelling Thread

Yea, I attend Full Sail now. That's why I started learning Maya, they teach Maya there. I'm going for the Computer Animation degree :P
  17. Extrovert or Introvert

I'm a... INTJ I belive... I don't remember it's been a few months since I took the test. To answer your question... I'm an introvert.
  18. 3D Modelling Thread

You can't post links when you have less than fifteen posts :S and, those are maps for the game Halo Custom Edition. I just created the actual level geometry, tagged it and threw it into the game. I've been learning a little bit of NURBS modeling... made an Xbox 360 controller last month... I only got about seven hours into that model before I had to turn it in.
  19. 3D Modelling Thread

haha Yay! I personally have been learning Maya recently, I've been teaching myself 3DS max for several years now though. Some of my stuff can be seen at my website.. www . llamajuice.com I had to kill the link... *sigh*
  20. 3D Modelling Thread

Haha, I didn't expect to find talent like this on one of these forums. Bravo guys. I'd post some of my gear, but I still have to post like another ten times before links are allowed... *sigh*
  21. What kind of gamer are you?

Interesting, it was kinda neat how much the hybrid choice described my pattern. It's kinda weird though, I've chosen games as my life, you'd think I'd be more of a hardcore gamer. (I'm going to college to learn how to create game art)
  22. can you make a heart?

I've broken a few, can't draw to save my life. Even a heart. ... I just watched the video and realized that's not what you're talking about at all.
