That is great news! So you can control passing high or low, decide where you shoot control virtually eevry player on the pitch and where they go - it's like they asked me to make the best football game I could think off whilst I was dreaming!!!! Even Spurs are a licensed team!! It couldn't get better!!
Though the defending sounds a bit iffy, but who cares!!!!
My only questions and one of my smaller worries is can you play a LONG ball to someone OFF the screen!!
Yeh you can play a long ball to someone off screen. Saw it in a video im definitely sure because I was wondering that also. Not sure how its done though.

Simply put he's crap. There's no excuse for his lack of ability to shoot, cross or score. Infact the only thing he can do right is cheat, and thats disgraceful to the badge, shirt, club, manager and us fans.
I disagree with 'he's crap', the rest is true enough though.

He was crap against Milan.
Not in the first leg he wasn't. He didn't play exceptionally but there was a time where he burst past 3 milan players like they weren't even there. But I agree he lack consistency. Hopefully, he'll buck up and stop wasting time and talent.

Cheers :P.
I know Eboue is crap, but I just listed the starting line up from yesterday.
Nice pics.
and Eboue's not crap, just has a crap attitude.

Milan given up? Milan never turned up. We dominated the match, and I must say I have had one of the best days and nights of my life. I'll slap some pics on my photobucket tomorrow if people want to have a look.
I wasn't that impressed by the San Siro, nice ground, but they don't look after the away section at all. Seats were dirty, heard horrid stories about the bogs. And gypo sales men walking on seats trying to con you €5 for some crisps, fuck off.
Yeh Defo share the pics, Lucky git:)
A night to tell your Arsenal supporting Grankids!

Theres only one Arsene Wenger!

Yes.
Historic Victory for the Gunners.
Good Show lads!

haha! Seribii you sure outdone yourself there! kudos!
Plus I love the whole bike idea! Its so refreshing, its a good add. It is nice to get something new every once in a while. If they didn't all they would be doing is adding characters and tracks...thats it
P.S. What does QFT mean? sorry:confused:
Not necessarily you could change gameplay dynamics which is what I care about most tbh. I can't see how bikes make it anymore fun as you had custom vehicles in DS and some of those looked like bikes anyway. Oh and its called super mario kart so I don't care about bikes.

Air dodges are changed in Brawl, you can't air dodge in your own chosen direction anymore, but you follow your momentum now. They probably meant that.
Ahh cheers for clearing that up.

Seems they learned from the criticism they got from their Melee review
This score is exactly as I expected.
Edit: SSBB is currently averaging out on 98.3% on GameRankings
In the Video Review they say they've added mid air dodges. They have have mid air dodges since Melee. What I want to know is what else have they added. Melee added Mid air dodges, multiple grabs, wall jumps, catching items etc. I could go on, but what has Brawl added to the gameplay apart from adding more emphasis to aerial battles?

Most importantly...is there an option to play the classical way? This new way of playing just doesn't seem as tight as the regular way. :/
Buy a 360 then mate. Plain and simple.
And the answer is no btw.

Higher than I expected, but seriously does it matter anyways.

^^
I also want an answer to this question.
I read somewhere that you can't

My major gripe is that there is little to no sense of speed. 200cc or make it faster. I don't care about bikes or tricks really.

We'll defo get some online action going.
Can't Wait!

first of all we need to know if the Wii version even lets us edit the kits. That review made no mention of the edit mode.
I read somewhere that you can't. Someone who claimed to have the game said its just a straight rename and thats about it, for the jap version anyways.

this was stolen from gamefaqs forum
As for the keepers - I think they're about the same as in other versions. I've seen them spill a lot of stuff, completely miss crosses, and rush out gung-ho (without me pressing) to completely take out an opposition striker. On the flipside they sometimes make amazing saves. My impressions in general after a while are much more favourable (as I expected them to be, still finding Smash Brothers **** btw MancunianRattlesnake, kindly stop bumming this game when you haven't played it). The passing works pretty well once you get the hang of it, and the game becomes almost as intuitive as the old Pro Evos. Here's a rundown:
Passing: Very instinctive, my only complaint would be that when you try to play a through ball without manually moving the player towards it beforehand for some reason it often goes very slowly. Fast passing is still possible with the controls
Shooting: The worst aspect of the game by far - really, really, really bad. Almost ruins it in fact. It's like Fifa - if you get a good player in a half decent position and waggle the nunchuck, 3/4s of the time the ball flies in the top corner. It's really sad and makes build up play pointless a lot of the time, if you're just as likely to score from dead centre of the edge of the area. You also can't aim high or low.
Free kicks: Even worse than the general shooting. You just waggle the nunchuck and hope the computer scores for you. Why they couldn't include a power bar or some sort of aiming type control with the wiimote I do not know.
Defending: Feels much better now that I understand it better. Closing down is still a bit too difficult for my liking (probably to allow the attacking player some time to think) but it works by you clicking on players to mark. So you need to mark up players the opposition wants to pass to. The difficulty in closing down the player in possession or the loose ball makes it look and feel a little unnatural though, but controling the marking aspect is much more fun than I first thought. Slide tackling is very satisfying when times right because it's so difficult. Most online players don't seem to bother so it helps me win a lot.
Headers - a good way to score, but again - very little control over where they go. I also have yet to understand how to do passing headers - if, indeed, you can at all. The whole aerial situation is a bit of a lottery though.
Corners - ok, but moving around doesn't seem to help because you can have a striker surrounded by three defenders and still score.
Dribbling - gets much more natural once you get used to it. Still hard to play a dribbling game, but the controls for this aren't too bad, if a bit weird (having to hold the wiimote in front of your player and click to go fast - the nunchuck only moves him at walking pace).

Calm down ladies. Your arguing about absolutely nothing.
On Topic: Wii needs more games that are worth playing for ages. I still have to go back to my Cube games.
-
Interesting concept and its amazing to see Konami actually take such a risk, cos tbh they usually play it very safe with the Pro Evo series as the last few versions proved.
I hope it comes off, but I doubt it.
Tbh I think its a calculated risk as its on the Wii and not Ps3 or 360.
Pro's been getting a bit stale lately so Im glad they've stepped up.

Dave Chappelle is the funniest guy alive. For me anyway.
So damn funny. Actually Im gonna watch some chappelle right now

for the record: Panic! at the disco should be locked in windowless cells and left to die alone.
Hahaha. So true. So damn true.

LOL.
Anyway, disappointed with the result tonight. Getting beat 4 nil by the mancs is never good but I'd rather lose this game and win the title tbh. I think alot of Gunners would agree with me on that one.
Im over it already:)
Why was one of the Barnsley players doing a John Cena? Was wondering the same thing. But tbh If I'd just scored the winner at anfield I'd be doing the fucking running man/moonwalk and the robot.
im sat with a can of beer in my hand, my laptop, well on my lap, in front of the tv, waiting for match of the day.Fair Enough Mate. Enjoy the day to the max I say: peace:
