  1. Formula 1 2020 Season

Esteban Gutiérrez, technically a Mercedes reserve, is their most likely option apparently (Merc customer teams have access as part of the deal).
  2. Everwild (New game by Rare)

Obviously not a huge amount to go on yet but this was by far the most interesting thing on the Xbox showcase. Up there with Stray as one of the most eciting projects on the horizon. If they figured out how to make a match 3 game that looked like this I'd be all over it.
  3. What Have You Bought?

My buttocks are like me: Firm, resilient, but in need of comfort (and just a little love).
  4. Who are you?

The violence is just how I keep the romance fresh.
  5. Star Trek Masturbatathon

I'll certainly give it a chance. My long term hope is a new Star Trek animated series will one day get made (I'd love an animated "Discovery" prequel series or something).
  6. Formula 1 2020 Season

Cracking couple of openers, this one was a more "normal" race but still managed to be a decent fight. Becoming a big Russell fan, Norris is a lad really coming into his own now though.
  7. I've been seeing this game from Squeenix around, and I'm actually quite interested in it. Called Subarashiki Kono Sekai in Japan, I was immediately grabbed by it's style, but it's story sounds doubly awesome, just so bizarre and off the wall - Anyway, it's on it's way to Europe now as The World Ends With You. Will probably appeal to Heroes fans. Coming Spring 2008. Shots:
  8. Star Wars Squadrons

I want to believe after Fallen Order, but the space combat in Battlefront was mighty lousy. Dare I dream this won't be a multiplayer gambling platform?
  9. Horizon: Forbidden West (18th February 2022)

I'm making a jump away from consoles this gen but this is possibly the one game that could tempt me back. Guess I'll keep my fingers crossed for a PC release 6 years from now. Loved the 1st one, Aloy is best girl.
  10. Last of Us Part II

It's been really interesting hearing the breadth of opinion on this game. Maybe not in a head space for this right now but I'm looking forward to spoiler discussions and I'll still get into it eventually.
  11. Stray (19th July 2022)

Hook it to my goddamn veins. I've never been so enthused about a game I know so little about.
  12. Playstation 5 Console Discussion

Looking forward to enjoying not E3 with everyone, papa needs his consumerism.
  13. General Movie Thread

    We all contain multitudes.
  14. General Movie Thread

I watched The Red Turtle last night and when it finished I cried for a solid 20 minutes or so. The superlatives do not exist to give this movie justice. A trailer doesn't communicate what it's worth. It is a work of art and a genuine masterpiece. I think I might be changed as a person and I absolutely did not go in expecting to be affected the way I was.
  15. Formula 1 2020 Season

Sainz would be the most obvious choice, personally I'd also love to see Perez get something decent to work with. If Sainz goes Russell better get that McLaren seat or I'll riot. Can't see Vettel being anywhere else on the grid, he'd be well advised to get better work elsewhere (WEC maybe) that'll let him spend time with his family.
  16. What Have You Bought?

    Gaming PC update:
  17. Formula 1 2020 Season

Been rumblings for a while. Crazy that Sly Season for 21 is starting before the season even has.
  18. What Have You Bought?

Finally pulled the trigger and spent £700+ on the parts required to build a (half) decent gaming PC. Everything should arrive over the next week, looking forward to seeing how ill-advised this was.
  19. PlayStation 4 Console Discussion

Oh damn, Control is on sale on PSN for £20. Already got a to-play list as long as my arm but that's tempting.
  20. Oh noooo. Hope they don't drag too much for you. Wasn't working today but got called in to come pick up my desk PC, now I've got the entire setup I normally have at work on my kitchen table. I find it unsettling for some reason.
  21. Boris has finally pulled the trigger - starting tonight all non-essential shops to be shuttered, no non-essential travel, cops empowered to break up any groups over 2 people. Restrictions to stand UK wide for at least 3 weeks. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-52012432
  22. My twice-weekly karate class is cancelled until further notice, scuttlebutt is the headteachers at the school we use think schools will be shut by next week. My main concern through all of this are for some of my vulnerable co-workers in the call centre (no working from home) - older folks, people on cancer treatment etc. NHS site says they'll start contacting vulnerable people after the 23rd, I'm honestly hoping it'll be to tell vulnerable people to isolate. My day would become a nightmare but I'd rather that than lose colleagues. Lots of anxiety around, piss-poor messaging from the government isn't helping. Obviously it's a complex problem but Boris on the podium isn't helping. No clarity, no confidence, no ability to break it down to the important essentials.
  23. Formula 1 2020 Season

Aye, a shame but understandable. Seemed a real mishandling let it get as close as it did. Was going to see the BTCC with my dad in April but that's off too. Weird times all around, let's hope it all passes soon. Until then:
  24. Rate the last film you saw

Shaun the Sheep: Farmageddon - as charming as you could possibly hope from Ardman, witty and funny almost without fault. Watched it immediately after watching Arrival, which is an A+ double bill with more overlap beyond the obvious themes than you might think.
