  1. The End Of The World Mafia

A bit torn by this, think i'm gonna pass on voting for now. Too much of a word against word and I'm not willing to take another chance after how certain I was of Esequiel being mafia.
  2. The End Of The World Mafia

Stop bullshitting me. I might not be the most active, but I am posting every know and then. You are just getting desperate.
  3. The End Of The World Mafia

You just described a large chunk of people playing any given mafia game here. Not sure where you are going with this, I am taking part in the conversation and this is just the second day of the game.
  4. The End Of The World Mafia

Based on what? Because I voted for you when someone said he investigated you and said you were most likely evil?
  5. The End Of The World Mafia

Change Vote: Esequiel Only one way of finding out if Paul is correct.
  6. The End Of The World Mafia

The connection is, your target was Diageo and Dyson's target was Diageo and Dyson got hit by the conflagration. Ellmeister targeted Dyson and got blocked by the conflagration mr-paul got blocked by the conflagration when he targeted you (Aqui1a). It's all connected and you're in the middle. Vote: Aqu1a
  7. The End Of The World Mafia

All this talk of re-directors bug me, we have two theorized re-director at work last night right? Well I did not reach my intended target last night.
  8. General Book Thread

Started reading A Clash Of Kings today (sequel to Game Of Thrones, you can guess why I decided to read this one now) and is so far pretty damn good, continues the plot from nicely and keeps the suspense up. It's a bit of a beastly read, the paperback is nearly a 1000 pages, but is an easy read, I imagine I'm gonna blaze trough it seeing as I only put an hour and something today and am at over 100 pages. After that I'm either going for Dune or American Psycho which have been collecting dust on my shelf for too long.
  9. Lets not forget, Seth Mcfarlane started his career with children's cartoons. Took part in writing: Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken and Dexter's Laboratory. So I'm leaning more towards that it will be good.
  10. Man.... You guys are good at this.
  11. The End Of The World Mafia

Not really, just my comments on the write-up and the start of all this and I got no info during the night.
  12. The End Of The World Mafia

Pretty much this, hiding her role appears strange but she could be an info gatherer, vigilante or something. Pretty much guesswork right now, anyway I think it would be likelier of a mafia player to simply lie about the role if its something bad. Anyway, I say we wait until tomorrow, more info then. Gonna stop rambling now.
  13. Eurovision Dusseldorf 2011

Best part of this all was the Eurovision drinking game. Pick a country, 1-7 points take a sip, 8-12 drink half your drink. The person who picked the country with the most points and the person who picked the country who the least points of the countries picked get the victory/loser drink. Two players picked Iceland and Hungary and were at the bottom of our list for nearly the entire show. When Hungary gave Iceland 12 points, Iceland passed Hungary which meant that the Hungary player had to drink the loser drink It was a mix of sour apple Mickey Finn, Sambuca, Rose Wine and almond liqueur.
  14. The End Of The World Mafia

My two cents. Will be out for the evening so I won't be active again until tomorrow.
  15. The End Of The World Mafia

    Vote: No Lynch
  16. Eurovision Dusseldorf 2011

Best part of this all: The loud screeching sound that came from my living room when Iceland was announced for the finals last. Bit of a surprise for me, always found it really dull.
  17. Eurovision Dusseldorf 2011

Portugal got a chuckle out of me, just the song and the spelling error in of their signs.
  18. Gaming news websites?

  19. Guardian Heroes Heads To XBLA

Great news, my copy still works but being able to force my friend to play it with me is good enough. Now I just need Dragon Force and Dark Saviour and Panzer Dragoon and Shining Force and I'll be content.
  20. Royal Wedding

You can't give all credit to the Danes, they expanded to the south (England) while Norwegians took the North (Scotland). The end of the Viking era is often contributed to the death of of a Norwegian king, during a battle in England. The linguistic part is pretty cool, what impresses me the most is that (this is not 100% guaranteed) most likely all of Scandinavia and the most islands in the northern sea spoke the same language. This is based on all the literature left from that time where apparently no one had any problem understanding each other be they Danish, Norwegian or Swedish.
  21. Foreign Music

I have always had a soft spot for Rammstein who mostly sing in German. Blind Guardian is also something that I have listened for 10+ years, but they only sing in English. I think there are a couple of more but I think they all sing in English. In the case of Sigurrós, the lyrics are pretty much non-important (Except for the sound of it) seeing as most of it comes across as just nonsense. Understanding them could be a bad thing because I know a lot of people who say they can't take Sigurrós seriously purely because of the lyrics. Out of curiosity seeing as there are people who listen to Sigurrós here, any of you listen to Múm or Eberg? Both bands that have much more popularity abroad but rarely get mentioned in Iceland
  22. Thor: The Movie

Yeah, too much of the plot is driven by people bumping into each other by coincident. Or the characters had a Thordar embedded into them.
  23. Thor: The Movie

Well fuck the 3D in this film, this might be because I only got a seat 4th row from the left but most of the environmental shot were really blurry for me and my friend. But despite that, I really liked it. I was hoping that Loki would be more of a trickster than a clever mastermind, but his was still good in the film. One really minor thing that ticked me off, how they pronounced Bifröst as Bi-frost.... Not that every pronunciation was perfect but most of it was pretty damn close to being correct.
