That was an amazing match, made even more so from the commentary. Tyldesley did some good work on the mic that night. My faves in that match are: Before the equaliser when he says "Can Manchester United score? They always score!" and then shortly after the equaliser he says "Name on the trophy!" I also love before the restart after Solskjaer's winner, the camera cuts to Lothar Matthaus on the bench, looking absolutely gutted, and Tyldesley says "What is Matthaus thinking?...Well, with the greatest respect, who cares?" That said, you can't beat Fergie's iconic statement after the final whistle: "Football, bloody hell!" They should put that on his gravestone.

I know the South African crowd are going to be irritating with those horns they blow incessantly throughout every game (like they did in the Confederations Cup), but I believe that it's a better noise than some England band playing the theme to "The Great Escape" again and again and again. Shit's fucking annoying, I swear to God!

I'm hoping Mokong or Platty set up a temp board like they did for the 2006 one. I thought it was a pretty cool idea... And yes, too early. Domestic season still ongoing, though wrapping up. Start thread/board end of next month, I propose.

It's not essential, it's a necessity. It does stop from being dry, yes. Above all else, though, it stops the crisps from falling out! Two birds, one stone! Flink... Help her.

Oh, God...I hated that place. Those other people in that room proper fucking snored, and that bed was so damn uncomfortable, plus it was too small. The only good part of that hostel was when I used one of the PC's and logged on to find I had won a match against Dyson in our Xpert Eleven league - that was awesome! The pool table was in a shit place as well! -
Afraid not, he was also a full 3D incarnation and unlockable character (Not sure...but very likely) in P8. Anyway, I would say that I resent your claim of skate. being superior to all TH games except Pro Skater 2, because Pro Skater 3 was also brilliant. But as I've only played the first game for about 10 hours, I can't really say anything.

In all serious, though, I did find myself thinking "LOL, Arsenal" after they lost to Spurs. But when I came on here and saw dazzybee gloating I just shook my head. I could understand him gloating, I mean, why shouldn't he?, but he only seems to delight in Arsenal's misery rather than Spurs' glory. How many times has he gone on about Arsenal losing and going another season without winning anything compared to Spurs winning? I need to look back at when Spurs won the Carling Cup and see how he reacted to that... Meh, whatever. In other news: Gotta love The Fonz.

Just for the record, this is me as well. I enjoyed the Friday night with Moogle and Eddage and going down to Laaaahndaaaahn for the first time - and being away from home on my own for the first time - but the meet itself was...well, I blame ReZ... -

I was bloody watching that match, but when Arsenal went 2-0 up my parents said "That's going to be it." and flicked over to the Chinese GP. In fact, in the pre-match interview with Martin O'Neill, the reporter said "The Wigan versus Arsenal match has shown that the season has had a lot of twists with the title race..." and we just assumed he meant how Arsenal were back in it after Chelsea losing and beating Wigan...Nope. Still, it's Arsenal's misfortune, and I laugh. (But then dazzybee comes along with his typical Spurs behaviour and completely spoils it for me, because he annoys me.) I like the songs. Like them quite a bit. Learnt to play the bassline to the ED track. ----- Anyway, whilst browsing the anime section in my HMV, I found they were selling Elfen Lied for £50. The price threw me at first, but I was more stunned by the '15' certificate on the box. Elfen Lied? A 15? Yeah fucking right! The anime are very overpriced in HMV, but they're selling Ghibli films for about a tenner. Might check back sometime...
