  1. Super Smash Bros. 3DS / Wii U

Nintendo's portrayal of other companies characters Vs. How they see them: From the N-E twitter feed.
  2. Nintendo Digital Event E3 2014: BYOP

Tropical Freeze is at the pinnacle of 2D platforming. The art, the music, the variety, the fidelity. The tempo of that game and the way it is built for consideration, exploration as well as time-trials is perfect. The genius of Retro in full swing. They brought back Dixie and even revitalised Cranky. I'm surprised you didn't think it was good.
  3. Twitter help!

I'm looking to display a twitter feed on a projector in a large open area so that passers by can see the feed. I want the feed to be updated in real-time. Unfortunately twitter itself just says "5 new tweets" at the top and doesn't automatically show them. I also like the idea of something more visual and easier to read than what the twitter website shows. Does anyone know where I can find something like this? I've searched online for about half an hour and tried a ton of websites to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! : peace:
  4. Wii U General Discussion

Tbf, it does say third party games for WiiU. Should have seen that before. also - Red logo is wrong colour. Still - when a lot of similar content was shown, I remembered such a list. Since then I've been more inclined to believe we'd get some launch GCN games for the VC. I'm more concerned as to why we're seeing handheld re-releases as opposed to N64/GCN.
  5. Wii U General Discussion

Obviously some (all (?) release dates) of this were wrong...pinch of salt and all that. If Metroid for 3DS Gets unveiled Ill probably believe it a little more lol
  6. Mario Party 10

Hopefully Bowser is just one mode. GamePad isn't needed for a fun, accessible Mario Party game.
  7. Wii U General Discussion

The list floating about that leaked a lot of correct games also had sunshine/Blue storm and FZero GX HD remakes. Also had Pokken fighters. I think we will see those announced at a later date. Silence on VC is strange. And YET AGAIN the relevant journalists haven't asked them about this. What about DS N64 on VC too? Just bizarre but I'm sure the info will come.
  8. Nintendo Digital Event E3 2014: BYOP

They need to add Mario 2/3/world tilesets. They also need to add the music maker from MPaint and overworlds designer. THEN they can release it. :P BETA eShop versions of Mario Maker and Splatoon would be genuinely great.
  9. Shigeru Miyamoto Games

Yeah...not feeling the Miyamoto Projects. One has you being a security guard and another seems like a robo-sumo Wii Sports Boxing clone without the fidelity of control Wii remotes bring. StarFox would have been better with a CGI trailer for all we saw!
  10. Wii U General Discussion

I read somewhere it is coming to WiiU but in the press release it only says Wii. Plus, it's EA so I'm thinking all logic is redundant.
  11. Wii U General Discussion

Considering they brought FIFA13 to WiiU I would think they mean WiiU. EA...unprecedented support. Press release: http://t.joystiq.com/all/2014-06-09-fifa-15-kicks-off-september-23?size=small&olcts=1402516425893&width=320&height=529&redirectCount=2#1
  12. Bayonetta 2

I have NO idea what's going on..and yet it looks sublime. It appears The W101 has prepared me for this! Kudos to the music. It sounds beautifully epic.
  13. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

Fffdddfffahshshdj. Just seen the Treehouse EPIC on this. Holy shiz. Nick Park must be jealous - Nintendo have DOMINATED the claymation art style with this game. Even the stop motion animation on the plants was perfect. With this and Yoshi they are using shaders in a beautiful, organic way. NintendoHD is wonderful. 2015 suddenly got even further away!
  14. Wii U General Discussion

Coming to Wii/3DS. Presuming Wii is WiiU. EA yet to clarify. It's in their press release. There's a link on the N-E Facebook page.
  15. Wii U General Discussion

@Retro_Link Devil's third had me interested when I read about the create your own maps feature. It should control like liquid too. Just looks like a good OTT third person run and gun game. Probably something the WiiU won't get too often. With this, Bayo, Captain Toad as well as FIFA 15 (off TV footy FTW) and some eShop gems, I'll be happy before Smash and the Amiibo's drop.
  16. IGN Talk to Reggie

True. The big/key ’third party' games I can think of off the top of my head are FIFA 15, Watch Dogs, Disney Infinity 2.0, Skylanders, (maybe Devil's Third?). Yeah, they should definitely have called him out on it. Saying that, I'd have probably geeked out and just begged to know what Retro, Monster or Next Level Games are working on.
  17. Wii U General Discussion

Nintendo would do well to release demos or eShop lite versions of Splatoon/Mario Maker. I was more surprised to not see any VC information nor a specific amiibo title. As I've said before, an Infinity-esque game would have sold me on NFC. Instead, Smash Bros. is the big game carrying WiiU into 2015. Judging by the reaction from last nights invitational event, that could be enough. There still may be more information though... Impressions: I really enjoyed yesterday's events. Posting on the Social Media feeds for N-E was great fun (long and tiring, but fun) as people were discussing/debating and actually talking about THE GAMES for the entire evening. It was fresh, different and spawned a positive community vibe. And when the Smash event hit the passion and love for Nintendo was tangible. It felt...genuine. Yesterday felt like a day to celebrate the Nintendo difference. A day that reminded me why I adore this company. Sure, I actually missed Iwata and the Star Fox reveal was too timid or announced too early. But you know what? I really felt like it was a day purely about games. And it has been a long time since I felt that way when seeing expertly crafted action trailers with up-scaled graphics and set-pieces. It was also a treat for the ears, marketing terminology was gone and it was honest and passionate. The Treehouse team did a great job of conveying the fun of these games in a way that a mundane or cocky comedian presenter often doesn't show. One look at Splatoon, Captain Toad, Mario Maker or X and I saw creativity, innovation, new IP and something for the gamers. No buzzwords. Pure games. For me, yesterday was Nintendo's best E3 in years. : peace:
  18. Ditto. What a day. And now I must collapse...: peace:
  19. This. Is. Awesome. Nintendo. Well played. Well. Played.
  20. Super Mario Maker

From the treehouse, it looks tons of fun. EShop game?
  21. Splatoon

It's been a GOOD day. And there's more to come!
  22. Splatoon

    EAD apparently.
  23. Splatoon

Watching the stream...YES. It's everything as wanted a Nintendo shooter to be. A sweet single player mode going through these bright, sunny industrial towns would be nice too. I NEED more info. It can't just be a multiplayer game as it wouldn't have such a huge showing and be coming out late. It looks done as just a multiplayer game.
  24. Nintendo Digital Event E3 2014: BYOP

Loving this approach. General consensus is similar. It feels like you are at E3. Fabulous and completely focused on games. No ads/celebs/buzz words. Just pure gaming. :awesome:
