They don't use the away goals rule in the league cup do they?
-
We're really starting to hit some form now. Top 4 is becoming more possible every week. Sturridge will be back soon, and hopefully he can hit full fitness as quick as possible.
-
Imagine signing Falcao and Balotelli... When you could have got Alexis Sanchez.Balotelli was our last resort. We tried for Alexis but he chose to go to London.
-
Gerrard struggled to contribute wherever he played, not Rodgers fault at all. He's an absolute legend, but it's very important we do right by the team.
-
Defense and shooting were horrendous, rest were much improved and we're definitely improving overall.
Battered them for 90 mins and there was a massive gulf in quality on the pitch. I love Lallana, he's very much my type of player. :p
-
We should have got something from that game, shooting was atrocious. De Gea did well, but he was dealing with shots directly at him.
-
1st half was completely pathetic. Improved 2nd half, but there's just lack of quality.
Why play Henderson out wide and sit 2 creative players like Phil and Lallana who could have created something out there. I love Hendo, but only in the middle please Brendan.
I don't want Rodgers gone, he deserves time after last season. Hopefully he can find a couple of January gems again.
-
Rodgers persistence on selecting Lovren, Skrtel and Gerrard is harming us. They've been horrendous, and deserve to be dropped.
Gerrard is a complete passenger playing DM.
-
I'll try get on for 7 if that's cool?
-
I'm going to quit at the end of this season too. I'm surprised I've lasted this long, as I've lost interest for ages.
I've loved playing and I might be back in the future.
-
The 11 that played against Newcastle deserved to be dropped. That's justification alone.
-
I'd quite like trying out as a right back, think that could be fun.
-
Yeh.. we played quite well, despite not creating anything of note. Borini did OK, though, so I was happy to see him get the full 90 minutes. I felt Markovic was relatively poor with the ball, only really showing a glimpse of pace on a couple of occasions but ultimately losing possession cheaplyMoreno was the standout performer for us in an attacking sense as he showed good confidence and energy at times, as well as composure. That was great to see after what happened against Newcastle.
I was a little disappointed to see Emre Can come off for Coutinho as he was looking solid whilst Allen seemed to be the worst of our original midfield three.. though maybe that was just me
Chelsea will be more difficult, I reckon, but we need to show some intensity. Is it that hard to come out of the blocks quickly..?
Agree with all your points. Allen was our weak link in midfield, Can looks like a talented young player.
I love Moreno. Yeah he has the odd brainfart, but he's just so quick and a great dribbler. Those little bursts he does can really open up teams in a matter of seconds. He has a big future.

I'd love to get involved in the pro club soon. Life is kinda hectic at the moment, but I'll do my best to make some time for it.
My guy is a striker, but I'm very happy to change to whatever will fit and is of most need. What position do you need?
-
Proud of that performance. Kolo bossed them. If only we had any kind of goal threat.
On to Chelski. Let's go get 3 points.
-
Who saw Lamelas goal last night? Outrageously good goal.
-
We were horrendous and very lucky to take the 3 points. QPR were miles better, and caused us problems all game.
-
I'm amazed he's alive after seeing the video. He hits it at such speed and the damage to the car is massive.
Really hope he makes a full recovery.
-
14 please.
-
Use R1 to call another player to press, then use your guy to cut off passing options. That works well, but you just need to be patient really and don't just fly in and overcommit.
-
To be fair, we've made it hard on ourselves with some of the games so far.Oh yeah, we've been shite so far this season. I agree with Rodgers when he says we looked disjointed in attack, you can tell we have a lot of new players.
-
United have had it hilariously easy, though, while we've had some tough games.

So happy Hendo has been made vice captain. He really deserves it, top guy.
