  1. Football Season 2008/2009

Don't get me wrong, it is great I just do feel some degree of sympathy towards them, considerin they're worse off than a triangle (or Derby) so far this season.
  2. Pizza Hut is now... Pasta Hut?!?

Agreed, Dr Oetker = win. And Pasta Hut? If i wanted to eat Pasta i'd go to Italy thank you very much. But as long as its only a temporary thing i can't see it being all that bad.
  3. Football Season 2008/2009

Respect to Martin Jol, he was treated disgracefully by the Spurs board. I'm a Gooner, but even so, seeing Spurs bottom isn't as deliciously filling as i thought it would be. Underneath all the rivalry i actually quite like a few of their players, and will no doubt start winning soon enough. Just hopefully after our game at the Emirates! Well its not as if Colchester are in a great position as it is, and with any luck they might get the boost clubs tend to get when a new man comes in. Quite like Colchester as a club, so hopefully you guys can get back in the Championship sooner rather than later.
  4. Rate the last film you saw

I agree, we watched it in a philosophy class and everyone agreed it was an awesome film, even if it was a little hard to follow at time. Also Odwin, i don't think any film about magic could be thought of as realistic As for the last films i saw: The Dark Knight 8/10 All the hype sort of ruined it for me, expected alot more than i saw. Without doubt it is a good film, but i feel it has been massively overrated as the greatest thing ever by its fanbase, which imo it wasn't by a good stretch. Wayne's World 2 10/10 I love that film. That is all.
  5. Antivirus software help...

I recommend a combo of the free Avira Anti-virus and Comodo Firewall. But if you are willing to pay, NOD32 is the best choice.
  6. Posting for a friend, is trying to get a big audience for his artwork, so take a look if you have the time http://sedarati.deviantart.com/
  7. Win32/Virut

Yeah it is a pretty nasty thing, it pretty much got inside the exe of everything i tried to scan it with, and it stopped me being able to connect to the internet. But its sorted now and i hope no one else ever gets it, its a pain.
  8. Win32/Virut

Yeah i have, didnt seem to do much for me. I think its fixed now, used the manufacturers recovery partition and that seems to have worked, thanks for the help Sanchez
  9. Win32/Virut

Our family computer is infected with the Win32/virut virus, and its causing some real problems. Pretty much, nothing can be run in normal mode without becoming infected, and the majority of system files are infected so can't be used (task manager, regedit etc). Also the internet connection has been closed so nothing can connect. I've been able to run some things in safe mode, Spybot, AVG Anti-Spyware, Avast to name a few, and none have been able to fix the problems, most likely because they themselves have been infected. I've tried Portable ClamWin from a CD, but this doesn't support healing of items, which is a concern as it could be a problem just deleting files with little means of replacing them. There are some important files on here, so i would rather not reformat, and as its a pre-built machine the OS is an OEM, so the recovery files, stored in i386 are most likely infected too. Any one able to help? Specs are: Windows XP MCE 2005 1.6Ghz Dual Core Processor 2 Gb RAM thanks to all who help

  11. RAM Problem

Right, so to start with a months back i had to replace my motherboard and RAM due to both burning out. Everything was fine, but the RAM stick was a 512mb but only registered in windows as 256mb. This wasn't bad, everything ran fine and i just assumed it was a bad stick of RAM, however despite Windows and Task Manager registering as only 256mb available, system information picked up 512mb. Then last week the computer booted quicker than normal, and to my suprise the computer registered as having 512mb of RAM. Thinking everything was ok, i happily used my machine as normal. Coming back to use it today, i found it rather sluggish, and checking Task Manager i have only 256mb of RAM again. Now i've tried MemTest 1.86 and it only picks up 256mb RAM, unless i choose to probe, in which case it picks up 512mb. The BIOS only reports 256mb aswell. And none is allocated to Video RAM, i've checked. The only things i did prior to the change to 512mb was to use a Linux LiveCD and update a driver, i've re-tried both, and no luck. My other specs are: AMD Athlon XP 2000+ 1.7Ghz Nvidia GeForce4 MMX 440 Windows XP SP2 Any idea what causes this? Thanks to all who help
  12. Mario Party 4

I have 1,2,4,5,6 and 7. You can call me awesome :p
  13. Booting up problem

Ok so i'm running Windows 98SE on my 2nd machine, but whenever it is booting up, it will either just freeze on one of the 'Windows 98' images while it is starting, or when i start in safe mode it will just freeze up on a black screen. Recently it has been messing up, so i tried to reinstall, but whenever i do it will do one of the above, after installing the system files and configuring the hardware. It has 32MB RAM, has an ATi Graphics Card and a YAMAHA sound card. Any suggestions to help with this? I've tried using a boot disk but it has had no help. Thanks to all who help
  14. Paper mario 2

TBH i prefer the original. This one didnt have the same spark.
  15. super monkey ball (2)

I prefer 2 to 1, mainly because i play multi more that single player. But as others have said, later levels are too reliant on luck.
