    This whole shambles started because David Cameron wanted to avoid losing an election to Labour due to UKIP taking votes away from the Tories.

    The referendum vote comes through not overwhelmingly, but a win none the less for leave (52-48 in my opinion is not a large enough margin to legislate for a hard brexit, but anyway)

     

    Then he pissed off because he doesn't care and we were left with May in charge - she triggered article 50 without knowing exactly what sort of deal she wanted (or the level of deal that would get through parliament) and put in charge of negotiations the absolute idiot that is David Davis.

     

    Fast forward 2 years and we appear to be no further forward since the idiot Brexiters seemed to think Ireland would cave to the UK's demands without seeming to realise that they had the backing of the other EU countries now and weren't just on their own.

     

    At least I take comfort in the fact that enough MPs seem to understand that No Deal would be catastrophic so that seems to at least be off the table.

    With the red lines that the UK government want the only possible deal the UK can get is May's deal (which would undoubtedly lead to the breakup of the United Kingdom)

     

    I honestly have no idea what happens next, but it's also clear that there's no consensus in parliament for any end result, so we're stuck in a state of political limbo and just have to hope for the best.

    I finished watching last night’s Takeover earlier. Some very good matches.

    Indeed, it's the best part of the year for Wrestling fans to be honest, I'll always try and see at least the rumbles.

     

    Yeah, last nights matches were good, Ricochet v Gargano was amazing. The storytelling in that match and Ciampa v Black was amazing as well.

     

    I'll need to watch the UK Takeover because I've heard that was really good.

    Yeah, I let my sub lapse before the second Saudi one last year, but have just resubbed yesterday for the Takeover and the Rumble, depending on the results of the rumble I may stay subbed until Mania, but will drop it again after that.

    Yeah still getting back into the swing of things, but those were some fun games,  still wish they would allow you to constantly be on friends team rather than just being random

    I really enjoyed exploring the massive world last night and look forward to getting back on it with my nephew and @lostmario. @gmac I see that you have also bought the game. You should hook up with us and get The Division crew back together. :)

     

    Yeah I'll be up for playing it with you guys, cleared one of the areas with your nephew tonight, was really fun in co-op

    Finally got home and got my system set up, had some issues with the wifi, but nothing to complain about too much.

     

    Looking forward to taking a deep dive into Zelda now :)

    Woke up at 2am and couldn't get back to sleep, so I decided to crack on with this. :D@gmac I see you were still on it when I fired my PS4 up. I take it you are enjoying it?

     

    The trophies are now live on PSN which means you can now sync everything up with the servers.

     

    Man, the battle music is so epic. I'm almost gutted when a fight is over as I have to wait to hear it again.

     

    I'm still not that far into the story. The events of Kingsglaive have just occurred now.

     

    yeah I'm enjoying it, might even end up being the first Final Fantasy I actually finish :)

    That's a separate help to buy scheme, this is the ISA that means the government will give you 25% on top of the amount you have saved in the account towards your house purchase. (max £200 per month allowed to be put in, £1200 allowed in the first month)

     

    Lenders will accept the bonus towards the deposit as it is guaranteed by the government. (I know since I work for one and we do)

    We'll have all that and more to look forward to, hooray. :P

     

    I've actually been doing some painting in our rental flat today, as I don't want it to look like a dump when we move out (and hopefully get our deposit back)!

     

    Things might finally be moving forward soon with our house purchase. The vendors contacted us to say that they've had an offer accepted on a house, one without a chain. So yay! Now we have to wait for our solicitor to return on the 19th, so hopefully things will get going again then!

     

     

    Question for people who have (used) a Help To Buy ISA: how does it work exactly? It's been in the news recently that people are having issues with the scheme because you can't use the bonus for your deposit. I assume the money you've actually saved up and put in your account will go towards the deposit at exchange? It says that the bonus can't be used for the deposit, but then what does it go towards? :S

    How I'm reading that is the bonus can only be used for the deposit on the house. But you wouldn't be able to get it for the portion of bonus you may be paying on exchange of contracts, only when completion is actually taking place.

    I've been playing it, I got to 110 yesterday. The new way to quest was pretty good with the zone scaling to your character meaning there was no set path to do it.

     

    I did have a pretty long break from it prior to launch, but a new expansion always gets me back in.

    The changes have been interesting and it's definitely the smoothest expansion launch so far.
