It's really difficult for me to attend, what with rotating shift patterns weekly and weekend working (Which should be ending mid-March, but who knows at this point.)

Well I must be very unlucky, I had my covid booster on the 29th (3rd pfizer shot), just a sore arm initially, but then the next day I started developing cold like symptoms, after checking the symptoms of the new Omicron variant I saw some in common (Sneezing, painful headaches and sore throat), just took a lateral flow this morning and it's returned a positive result. Never had covid until now and here we are. Ordered my PCR to confirm it now.

I haven't used it too much, but from what I can tell, the face buttons, D-pad and Sticks feel like the Pro controller. However, the black buttons almost feel rubbery and in low light you can't make out the symbols on them and I'm not sure if I like them or not, the shoulder buttons seem a little bit bulkier than the Pro controllers but feel good enough. The biggest drawback for me personally is that my hands are quite big, so it doesn't take long for my hands to start cramping after booting the Switch up. But I would imagine for the younger gamer this controller would be ideal for them.

Merry Christmas to all of you of N-Europe. I had been getting stuff for the past week from family and friends. Gotta split the post up accordingly. Firstly, the presents I got this time last week from my group of friends who hang out with me after work every other Tuesday. We always meet up the last weekend before Christmas to have a festive meet-up so all presents get opened pretty much at the start. Then last night my old Housemate stopped by and dropped off some gifts. As they were in a gift bag, he said I might as well just open them there and then. And finally on the big day, I went round first thing in the morning to spend Christmas with my parents and brothers. My older brother didn't know what to get me so he gave me a card with £20 inside. This Christmas arrived so quickly and now it's almost over

I have a spare Murkrow. Misdreavous was the one Pearl exclusive I wanted. Probably gonna have to do it tomorrow morning though since I have work in an hour.

Unfortunately kids these days don't tend to have patience for a little level grinding in RPG's. In order to prevent over levelling in Sword, I tended to cycle through 4 teams of Pokémon, when one started getting too high in level, I'd swap them all out for the next team. Only real downside with that is that I never really got to bond with my teams, that and keeping my Pokémon at the same level was almost impossible unless I trained one Pokémon in my team at a time. I can't understand why turning it off isn't an option. I've seen fan games offer the choice at the start of the game for old school levelling and modern levelling before the game starts. It all goes to show that the Pokémon Company don't give a damn about the older players. Shit sucks but that's life, I guess. We still have the original games if it bothers us too much.

You should have gotten the Asian Release instead of the Japanese, that version has English subs, though that releases at the end of November.

With the console shortages this generation, I'm so glad I decided to main PC gaming over a year ago. A new Soundbar and Second monitor I managed to get with the back pay I was due (I haven't even gotten all of it yet) is going to make both personal gaming and streaming gaming so much better for me in the long run. I am quite happy GoW has made the jump and it looks like more is on the way, the fact that maybe Sackboy: A Big Adventure might also release on PC will pretty much mean I don't need a PS5 at all. I will be looking forward to more news on future PS releases.

Finally got my back dated pay (Not all of it, as they forgot to apply the pay increase to this month's pay) so I decided to further upgrade my PC set-up, which is now almost perfect for streaming.

The funny thing to me, is that people have said they would pay more for NSO if it had N64 games included. Now people are complaining they will have to pay more for N64 games. People who have been playing Nintendo consoles for a long time will already know how Nintendo's business model works, as has been said, conditioned to expect this. If people do not support it, they may rethink it, but as I said earlier, conditioned to expect this much.

It's live, but not really, seems as though the servers are struggling to cope. I tried a few times but I can't even join the matchmaking pool. But I shall try again tomorrow morning hopefully when it's more quiet.

So as the open beta starts in a few days time (12th-16th August) but there was early access over the past weekend for those who have pre-ordered or received free invite codes. Opinions seem mixed from those who got into the early access. But I'm hoping to get my Left 4 Dead group to partake in the early access at some point over the coming weekend to see for myself. Also, it's no secret it's coming to Game Pass on Xbox and PC day 1.

It's been confirmed that Seb has been DQ'd from the race for failing to provide a big enough fuel sample. Which means Hamilton inherits second place and extends his championship lead to 8 points whilst Sainz is now classified as 3rd.

Take a bow our 111th different race winner, Esteban Ocon! What an awesome drive, constantly under pressure from the 4 time world champion Seb Vettel but drove it almost flawlessly. That race was absolutely nuts in the beginning, not only the carnage at the first corner, but the standing restart only Lewis Hamilton took as the circuit dried so fast that everyone else pitted for slick tyres meaning he had to pit after that first restart lap and drop to dead last. Fernando showing he's still got it, what a team player keeping Lewis behind for so long that he wasn't able to take the win in the much faster car at that point of the race. Great double points finish for Williams as well, but George again outscored by his team mate, Mr Saturday but his teammate still scored more points than him. A few weekends ago we thought Max was going to walk this championship, but now into the Summer Break Hamilton and Mercedes are back ahead in both championships. Still really close and long may it continue. EDIT: Breaking news that Seb may lose his second place after they couldn't take an adequate sample amount of fuel from the car after the race. Would be so gutting if he does lose it.

Not if you are looking for an authentic experience. Sounds like they went the Wii party game route and not even half the events are in it.

I've been streaming the game for the last couple of days, it's pretty good, about 3 hours and still on the first case.

Sadly I'll be missing most of the Olympics due to early shifts, it looks as though the BBC coverage this time is severely limited too.

Ordered these 2 anticipated games on Steam, the latter I'm streaming tonight as it's already out Also ordered a new bag for work, the messenger bag I have used for the past few years is finally starting to fall apart, but should last me until this one arrives.

Let me start by saying that I'm glad Max is okay. That was a lot like the 90's, two highly talented drivers fighting wheel to wheel and refusing to concede an inch to the other and it resulted in quite the crash at the end. I thought racing incident on initial viewing, both could have made more effort to avoid the crash but Max came off worse and I think the opinions of Horner, Red Bull and Max himself were expected. I think this all could have been avoided potentially with bigger wing mirrors because at the size they are now, they offer no peripheral vision so there is no way Max knows that Hamilton hasn't quite given up the move when he turns in, as they are now they are an aero part and don't function like they are intended.

Unfortunately I didn't so I cannot offer a comparison. Sorry. I did end up borrowing money from my savings to preorder the Steam deluxe edition in the end. So whilst having to start over, I'm fine doing that. I'm gonna stream it too.

So the game is out on Friday and I spent the first few days of my holiday with the demo and needless to say it has sold me to getting this at the next opportunity, it's a great deal of fun and I was able to recreate an old OC as my player avatar. (Hair was updated to better replicate her hair compared to the screenshot provided)
