Yeah Bowser is a lot better this time on.

I think it's less balanced than Melee, mainly because of some characters being much better (more of a difference than in Melee IMO) than others with Meta Knight and Snake at the top. A lot of characters, like Captain Falcon for instance (but he has a hard time against basically everyone ), can have an extremely hard time beating these two in the hands of good players, they're just too good.

I got about 4034.6 feet (1229 m) with Ganondorf, I could get more because that was after only a few hours (I'm used to long sessions of this from Melee :p) of trying for a highscore. Second highest is Toon Link with around 2300 feet (700 m), I'm trying to get him to 3000 now. I hope I can get most characters up to 2000, that shouldn't be too difficult.

Yeah that's the only way to get their trophies and I guess you have to get lucky on them appearing at the end of a boss. I haven't tried any of them yet. There is also a sticker that makes them appear more often by the way.

They appear more in higher difficulty levels, it's always random though.

The matchmaking servers are probably getting hammered, the same thing happened close after the American release. With Anyone didn't work properly then either.

I'm getting it later on, mainly because I have my Wii downstairs now, due to Black&White image on the TV upstairs, and it can't stay there forever. I'm in no hurry at the moment though.

For Pit do as Flayl said it should do minimal damage then. But yes Pit can be pretty annoying to fight, as he has very high priority on a lot of attacks. As for Ike, dodging is pretty important to make him miss and attack him when he does. Although this is doable offline, it's pretty hard online as you often can't dodge in time due to button lag. :p

Yeah together with Ganondorf and Yoshi he's one of the lowest. Samus and Jigglypuff are down there as well. Most of the characters have an advantage over him which can make some matchups pretty tough for me. Yeah I used Falcon Kick a bit too often in that match it definitely wasn't one of my best but I loved the triple Knee kill so that's why I saved that one. I was being a bit stupid a few times there. :p Falcon Kick is pretty useful this time on though, so I use it a bit more often than in Melee, Raptor Boost I'm trying to use less as that almost never hits anymore. That's the ground version though the aerial Raptor Boost is pretty useful at times. I find a short-hopped neutral air a bit hard to use as it's hard to hit with in Brawl, especially on short characters. Could be me though, maybe I should practice it a bit more. Thirded, I'll be online tonight as well for some fights so feel free to add me. Let me know if you do of course.

Was that this one of mine by any chance: Same here, Falcon is probably one of the lowest on the tier list this time, but I'm still playing with him and I'm pretty good with him still. Although I wish he was as good as in Melee or even not nerfed so bad.

This sounds interesting and more RPGs is a good thing. I can't find any screenshots either.

I got the bundle yesterday, so I'm now also a PS3 owner. I've set it next to my Wii and man that thing is huge. :p

You could use the Freeloader on those games to skip the updates.
